Anything you want to talk about within the general guidelines is fine. We have some leeway with vulgarities because it's mature and the linguistic zeitgeist on RPoL has shifted recently. I have no doubt we can just chat without worry, just be aware (for now) it's group 0, so it's visible to visitors too.

Oh good. Please tell me you are attached to killing someone in a particular way. I'm also a moon silver and can't settle on a combat style (other than chucking a swarm of bees at them but I can't get that as an artifact weapon.)

I am looking to experiment with Live Wire Style. It would be interesting to see this and other Autochtonian martial arts/fighting styles.

Aren't there only two? The book mentions a ton of them but doesn't give stats.

Yes, theoretically infinite possibilities. But inventing entire martial arts is a lot of work on both sides. I had considered going Righteous Devil. Think an Autochthonian version of a Feiry Solar Cannon could be one handed by an Alchemical? (hmmm then I wouldn't have budget for powered armor, v-lame)

It was frightening, for me. My neighbors were setting off 6 inch Mortars, the rain of burst fuel rained down on our apartment. It started on the 1st and went until 23:00 of the 4th.

I enjoyed the time I reserved to game and work on game. I played a new game that start four days ago, called Realm Rejects. Five starting characters, but each player, and the ST, have two standby. Very much inspired by me privately streaming Shadows of Mordor to a close audience that among them, my roommate thought to GM a combat stunt centric game. It's loosely based on Final Fantasy, the idea of the plot being breakneck speed, but the players send their characters in cycles to train, labor, and fight. It's started in the Neck, and we have a Lunar that stays in beast form, an Eclipse that mostly uses their charms for the Ride extensions, and Terrible Ascent Driven Beast for their mate (the lunar). I played a Secrets but due to some numerical errors, I was retconed into a Fiend. Which was fine, my character has Ebon Shadow and Seafring Hero Styles for charms and that's it.

We have a Dawn that acts as a defend other (mostly for my character, actually), though that character and the Night share Forest-tongue. My character is the translator, and the Night only speaks Forest-tongue, which my character doesn't. The Night uses partial styles, Throne Shadow, Lunar Hero, and...I think Tiger Style. They have the Dawn as a Shadow Finger, so the Dawn is perfectly happy to let the mated pair have their corner, and the Night and I swing and skirimish with panache.

The whole game is panache though. So we had to take breaks, because it's so very action heavy, to do other activities. We played some Heroes of the Storm, Magic 2014 while my roommate (and ST) played Planet Zoo and worked on the game's themed antagonists.

Need to catch up on sleep though. Sitting and being awake too much are going to kill me (literally) more than my short stint smoking tobacco did.

I should probably clean the kitchen now, TBH. lol. TMI maybe. I love cooking, and I'm also limited to inside the kitchen, since I'm still working on car transported objects to makeshift as furniture. Anyway, I made Parmesan and artichoke stuffed mushrooms. Before that I made a carb-light quiche. Before that White Cheddar Mac and Cheese and Meatballs. I struggle to get to this point, from two Novembers ago, but this is probably the last year of gaming like this (realtime I mean). So I wanted to enjoy the fireworks as the ship goes down. ;)

Looking forward to getting back to GMing in a couple days though. Answering questions and filling more structure for what the PCs will initially orbit. Off to clean though!

Wow, you will have to send be your recipe for the stuffed mushrooms once things calm down a bit! I hope that all is well! <3

I have my family and dogs all up at my cabin. Far enough away from most places that we barely heard any fireworks.

Ooooh, I'd be glad to! I have bad news though. I learned to cook on my own, through intuition. I bake with exact coordinates of timing and volume. I cook by eye. I also enjoy cooking new ways and sometimes that fails. Cooking is an adventure and one I'm prepare for, but sometimes it has its perils. Most importantly, if I give you the recipe, I want you to understand it's neither exorbitant nor inexpensive. So while I will tell you all I can, it will not look scientific in the slightest. Which...is really disappointing. I just learned to cook by making mistakes. So I will mark what I know, and put it in my Community chat thread, and link it in this thread, or PM you if it breaks this thread's flow of conversation.

So I wanted to warn you: 1) It will involve some vague definitions, 2) invest into the process, and like a recreational gambler, play to play, not to win.

That said, if my method doesn't work; rest assured, I didn't come unprepared for a plan B. When I link to the CC, I'll link (here) to a website that has recipe that isn't the same, but has much more precise instructions, that I give my approval to. It's like french restaurant here, in Johnson County. In fact it's also like a Chinese restaurant too. The first is basically the French cuisine, it's VERY expensive, but in contrast to going to France; it's pennies. The Chinese restaurant is more affordable, I've eaten there ma many times. They make Americanized Chinese, but then have dozens, dozens of off menu dishes depending on the close knit ingredients they have. I'm not a master chef, but everyone who eats my food appreciates its, and that's my goal. So having said that, you might not be able to justify my recipe to the risk and cost; but the link will be as close as I've found to having the surrogate.

Anyway, I have good news (possibly) in the other thread!

I'm doing fair. Nothing to complain about. I learned a few philosophical practices I'm adopting. Not enjoying summer though. ;) I look forward to when I can go to the gym (just 150 feet from my door) and work out, then come out to the nice crisp and brisk air. Things are mostly looking up for me. My biggest concerns aren't for me, and I have nothing I can do, I have a friend who entered homelessness just as I was getting back on my feet. I lost contact, but I hope he'll recover. Breaking even again in many ways, and that alone is a good sign, as many expenses--financial, energy, time--are short term commitments and that means even if I stay the same, my net with soon become positive. That's, I hope, a good sign.

So, I do want to apologize for not getting the game start prior. I'm technically on vacation right now, but as I'm not traveling, I have all the normal assets and difficulties on my staycation. ;/ Anyway, I figured the best apology I could give would be to get the introduction out, it's been a doozy of a week after week.

I'm going to count SAB out for now, and look for one or two other players in the next ten days.
