INTRODUCTION and RULES (READ ME)

RULES

- Game rules follow loosely a mix of Delving Deeper (http://ddo.immersiveink.com/dd.html) and Old School Essentials Rules (https://oldschoolessentials.ne.../index.php/Main_Page)

- Posting frequency: 1 post every 2 days (48 hrs from last post)

- I will possess the character temporarily if 48 hrs have passed in order to prevent other players waiting too long (if you're in a party)

- You may generate up to 3 different characters starting from one or various safe locations (player strongholds included if the player who owns it allows it) in Yooin Suin depending on their background or your own choice (as long as you have discovered it with another character or if your character is born there). When a character dies you can use an existing character you generated or roll a new one. If the dead character is somehow ressurected you can still keep the revived character.

- If your character is not born in Yoon Suin and is a traveler who has come to this unknown land, you will begin in the Yellow City. Those born in Yoon-Suin can choose to begin in their place of birth or the Yellow City.

- Each player should keep a record of what items they have, deduct rations and currency when they have to, and remember where they are at. There will be no maps provided except during combat in some complicated areas that may be hard to visualize.

- Player VS Player is of course allowed though the karmic consequences will mostly be extremely severe unless it happens in the middle of nowhere... Of course it must be rationalized in character or DM's divine punishment will fall from the skies... or rise from the ground...

- No metagaming. Unless the character discovers it themselves, there should be no way a character knows a secret of another (e.g. where they hide their Magic Jar or bury their treasure etc). If you want to keep some actions secret you can message me and I will record it in my private log.

CHARACTER CREATION

- Character creation is to be done inside the RTJ private message thread. Please make ALL stat rolls, HP rolls etc there unless generated using https://cluelessdelver.blogspo...acter-generator.html.

- Follow Character Creation rules from Delving Deeper Rules (http://ddo.immersiveink.com/dd...n-i-heroes-and-magic)
- OR generate one using https://cluelessdelver.blogspo...acter-generator.html REMEMBER TO INCLUDE YOUR CHARACTER NAME AND RACE. Make your rolls in the Private Message / RTJ if you wish to roll manually.

- Starting GP is 3d6 * 10 GP. You may buy any items to equip your character from http://ddo.immersiveink.com/#equipment

- Magic Users and Clerics start with a spellbook containing ONE 1st level spell. You may use spell lists from https://oldschoolessentials.ne...hp/Magic-User_Spells and http://ddo.immersiveink.com/#cumulative-magic

- Classes can be homebrew, modifiable and can be discussed along the lines of Delving Deeper and OSE rules, OSE classes are allowed as long as you tell me their special features in the OSE rulebooks

- In Yoon-Suin, there are special races such as Crab Men (Special class), Slug Men (Magician or Cleric), and other Yoon-Suin Natives (Humans, Dwarves) in which case let me know and I will generate an extra background, diety etc for you.

- If you wish to play as another race or class, we may discuss it in the RTJ thread. Generally, if the race/class exists in Delving Deeper rules reincarnation table: http://ddo.immersiveink.com/#reincarnation , I will be likely to allow it, though of course the race must exist in Yoon-Suin if you want to play a Yoon-Suin native of that race.

- Please include in the character sheet (Send through RTJ):
1) Character NAME and Race (MOST IMPORTANT)
2) Character appearance and Personality (one sentence will do but more is welcome, you may add it later after you join the game)
3) One goal or dream of the character that motivates their actions (you may add it later after you join the game)

- Example Character Sheet

Name: Bobette Mann
Race: Slug-person
Class: Cleric 1
Appearance: An obese, decrepit woman (65) wearing a formal attire of a Holy person.
Personality: Bad Temper, Arrogant
Goal: Convert all Heathens to Gelekism

STR: 7, INT: 9, WIS: 15, DEX: 13, CON: 6(-1), CHA: 18 (+4)

HP: 5, AC: 5, XP: 0
Equipment:
Chain Armor, War Hammer
Backpack:
6 Torches, Waterskin, Iron Ration [7 days], 10' Pole, Wooden Cross, Small Sack (8 gp), Small Sack (empty)

ADVENTURING & DOWNTIME

- Characters in the same location or hex may create a group to go adventuring.

- I will allow 1 person to adventure alone, but if others interested who happen to be in the same hex or location wishes to join in it is possible as long as both characters agree to travel together.

- When all players are done adventuring, or the ones adventuring are dead or in a coma, downtime will begin and end until all characters are restored to max HP possible or if more than half of the players agree to start adventuring again.

- During Downtime, players may declare for each character to rest, research, craft, train or do some mundane activity. If the activity is complete before downtime is over, the player may declare another activity to be done.

- Before the end of Downtime, players may begin to organize an adventuring party to prepare adventure together when the adventuring phase begins, as long as their characters are all in the same general location (e.g. Yellow City, or a player controlled Stronghold etc)

MISCELLANEOUS

- It will be helpful if you color dialogue "Like this" and OOC text OOC Like this, but no pressure.

- If there is the need for clarification, please Rmail me or ask me in the OOC thread.
