Yeah, you can inherit the Goggles.

Skull helmet -  You have a +1 bonus to AC while you wear this helmet. In addition, if you move at least 20 feet towards a target and then attack them with a melee weapon attack on the same turn, you can choose to make a special attack using the helmet instead of the weapon. The helmet deals 3d4 piercing damage and uses Strength for its attack and damage rolls, and you are proficient with it. If you hit and the target is no more than one size larger than you, it must also succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

I had already added the +1 AC to your sheet, you can see it in your AC calculation.

I hate spiders, irl. I would totally have an aquarium with spider-sized horses, though.

FYI - these two descriptions were brought to you by the use of AI.

quote:
Giant Spider 1 raced toward the cluster of targets nearest to it. Khorth had managed to move himself before it closed in, leaving elf and dwarf on its menu. As the giant spider closes in on Ariadne, its many legs scrabble across the ground, making a loud skittering noise. Its massive jaws snap hungrily, revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth. Its eyes are black and gleam hungrily in the dim light of the dungeon. The spider's body is covered in mottled brown hair, and its legs are long and spindly. As it approaches, it raises its forelegs, ready to strike, and its venomous fangs glisten with toxic saliva.

Giant Spider 4 stops its reflexive flailing, and retaliates against Khorth. Jaws close in and sharp pain follows as Khorth feels the giant spider's venom trying to take root as well. The preservation of life was a natural instinct for beasts of all sizes, and it sought to remove itself via the same strand of webbing it had used to attack. But Khorth was a hunter, not keen on letting his pray slip through his fingers. Dragon-fang sword pierced carapace once more, and with a warbling thump, the spider fell dead to the floor, legs curled up against its abdomen.

Re: OOC: Umberage Hill

It's a cool little tool to use for certain things. It's been all over youtube lately for either aiding or replacing your GM. I don't think it's anywhere near good enough to replace a DM, but it's pretty decent for coming up with ideas and prompts, and for giving you a description of something. It does tend to over describe some things, but it gives really good details for others. I'm going to keep messing around with it off and on to see where it goes. I would totally use it to run one-shots or solo games now and then. It's certainly not ready to run a campaign in any capacity, though.

Khorth:
The paladin curtly nodded to Chlora before carefully wiping his tooth-sword and sheating it. "Eight-legs are as pooooisoooonous inside than in their fangs, care foooor yoooour weapoooons ooor it will cooorooode them. There is noooothing to eat in them. The eight-leg did hurt me, Firehair." He gingerly moved his arm, testing it, before getting a stone dagger and started to carefully extract the poison glands.

using his lizard folk ability to create items after a fight, if its stretching too much, let me know

Make two Survival rolls, and we'll see how it goes.

Ariadne Greenthorn:
In reply to Khorth (msg # 103):

Ariadne let her fiery sphere lapse, then looked at her Traveling Companions.
"Everyone who was wounded, gather around. I can summon a healing spirit of nature, which should help everyone. "

If the three wounded people are willing, Ariadne has them stand around her in a tight circle, no more than a foot or so away, and begins concentrating.  She soon begins glowing with a green aura that smelled of new blossoms and fresh grass, and a magic emanated that started healing everyone.

OOC: Healing Spirit cast, healing 1d6 a round for three rounds, for a total of 17 points.

12:23, Today: Ariadne Greenthorn rolled 17 using 3d6 with rolls of 5,6,6.  healing spirit.

The spirit heals 1+Wis times, so you get 4d6, but each d6 applies to only 1 person, so you'll need to decide who you want to hand those d6s out to.

Brillik mentioned he would be gone for a month, but it's now been two. He did log in last month, but didn't post anything and hasn't been around since. I've sent him an rMail to see if that catches his attention for an update. In the meantime, I'm going to have him watch over the NPC's, and I'll eventually remove him from the game if I don't hear back.

Zhalis has been gone for two months as well. I'll continue to keep her with the party for a while since she's tied to Chlora, but she may be removed before long as well.

You have a whole lotta doors to choose from for where to go next. The scream filled the entire place, but everyone's best guess is that it originated more from a southern direction than any other.

The next couple of weeks are going to be some of the slowest, as I make the final updates to the software before we release at the end of the month. I know y'all are along for the ride, just wanted to keep you in the loop.

I've heard back from Brillik. The test that's kept him away has had some setbacks and delays, but he's still working on it. I'll check in with him again in April to see how things are going, and we'll figure out where to go from there.
