Day 3 - The Thayan Threat

Having arrived back in Phandalin, the group touched base with Gundren and were caught up on all that had transpired while they were gone. With Bharkel gone to secure the safety of a woman whose husband had been murdered by the Thayans on the streets, the group decided it was time to end that particular threat.

The group made their way to the abandoned manor atop the hill just east of town. The building itself was boarded up, doors and windows barred and nailed against entry, causing the group to wonder if they'd been lied to. Thanks to the scouting eyes of Pavel's primal companion, however, a basement entrance was discovered that showed signs of recent foot traffic.

Stepping inside, you find the door opens onto a five-foot-wide landing fifteen feed above the large cellar, with stone steps descending to the floor in two short flights. Another door stands beneath the stairs to the north [north of Pavel on the map]. A large stone cistern occupies the western part of the room, whose walls are lined with kegs and barrels. On the western wall, north of the cistern, is another door.

Day 3 - The Thayan Threat

Sakamoto scans the room with alert eyes. Unfortunately, they seem to be a bit clouded, still, from last night's rice wine ...

Today: Sakamoto rolled 9 using 1d20+7, rerolling all ones ((Perception)).

Day 3 - The Thayan Threat

Akyra entered the room, cautious and axe in hand. The new sword at her back, she looked around the room. “Search each area for traps….I don’t want to fall in any pits again.” She stalked the room, looking over the place in general searching the barrels and kegs. She glanced at the pool of water, and pointed to it. “…and make sure nothing will jump out at us from there.”

<OOC: Akyra Clethtinthiallor rolled 11 using 1d20+2 - perception check >

Day 3 - The Thayan Threat

Licking his lips and flicking his tail in anticipation, the lizard folk made sure he had a good grip on his scale shield and drew his tooth-sword. Sniffing around, he cautiously approached the water. Still adjusting to the changing light, he didn't noticed anything in his silent walk.

Khorth rolled 6 using 1d20+2.  khorth perception.

06:44, Today: Khorth rolled 15 using 1d20+5.  Khorth stealth.
