At The Shrine of Luck: Akyra, Ariadne, Khorth, (Sakamoto)

Moving all of the Shrine/Miner's posts here to keep the two groups separated. Bare with me.

Saving Sakamoto

Entering the Shrine of Luck with the body of Sakamoto, you see the familiar acolyte, Nyevnen, speaking to an elven woman that you assume is the priestess, Sister Garaele. Garaele is adjusting a robe she seemingly had just put on before your arrive. On the floor around her is a set of gold and silver armor, recently damaged, some blood still on it, and the chest piece arcing burn marks across the metal and leather as though she took a bolt of lighting directly to the chest. She is dirty fairly speckled with healing wounds.

She turns to regard you as the door opens, exhaustion written across her features, her eyes close as she sees Sakamoto in Akyra's arms, "Augh, Shalamora, save us."

Nyevnen looks at your faces first, "Oh, welcome back travelers. Sister Garaele is here now, as you can see, but is too wary from her - Oh! Oh my!"

The priestess looks like she could nearly collapse where she stood, "Ny, get my things." Though she is tired, she motions for you to bring him toward the table, glancing back and forth between Akyra and Sakamoto, to confirm her suspicious of his current status are true. "First, tell me when. Then how."

Saving Sakamoto

Ariadne spoke up, her voice somber and mournful,  but angry
"Less than an hour ago.  Killed by a necromancer at the Thayan compound, when we were investigating their attacks on the town"

Akyra brough the body of her fallen comrade into the shrine and to the table, and nodded as Aridne spoke. "We were in the compound to teh east, which held the redcloaks that have been a scourge on the town.  We found they were led by a Thayan necromancer only towards the end, but he had summoned several undead in our way.  A wight had claimed three of our comrades, and raised them as undead. We cleared the compound and threat when we followed the necromancer, in the forest east."

She lay him down, and straightened his hair. "It was not long ago, maybe even less than a half of an hour, when he used dark magic to take his life.  He prepared to raise him as an undead minion, but we vanquished the necromancer before he could."

She looked at him. "What he lacks in height, he makes up for in heart and fighting spirit. Please, if you can bring him back, we have coin to put towards replacing any materials. I myself am a priestess of Bahamut, but the battle has weakened me - if i can help, i will."

Sister Garaele took in your words, a mix of concern and disappointment on the timing of things, then turning to anger and disgust at the mention of a necromancer. "Too far gone to be revived, unfortunately, but not so far gone that he cannot be resurrected. If you killed the Thayan necromancer, then payment to perform the spell has already been made. However, the spell itself will require the focus of a diamond beyond any that I now possess. Today I am also taxed beyond my ability to cast the spell on my own. We will have to perform it in ritual, and I will need to pull from each of you to power it as well."

"Head across the square, to the south, and follow the Miner's Trail toward the edge of town. There you will find the Miner's Exchange. If anyone in all of Phandalin has a diamond that can serve for the spell, they will be there. Beware, it will cost you at least five hundred gold pieces for a diamond large enough to fuel the spell. Diamonds are rare, so they may not have one precisely the size that I need. I cannot use one that is too small, and multiple small ones will not suffice either, but one larger than necessary will work just fine. If you can get the diamond, I can return his soul to his body."
She gave you a description of how large a diamond would have to be to suffice (500gp value).

"Nyevnen and I will prepare for the ritual while you all search for the diamond."

Saving Sakamoto

The dragonborn nodded at the instructions, knowing full well the materail needed woud be expensive in this small town.

Shew made her way out and south across the square to the miners exchange. She waited for someone and when she found them, nodded. "My greetings....Forgive my abruptness, but time is a factor here. I search for a diamond, at least yea big..." she holds up her hands, indicating the size. "....of quality for a spell. A friend has died in protection of the town and we need it for his return."
