Hi everyone! I'll be playing Canary, a failed-monk-turned-investigator. I'm a UX design student, my partner is in law school, and I love writing. Eventually I'll get my character deets up.

Edit: Fun fact, I've almost gone 21 days without biting my nails (a lifelong habit), but now they're so long it's messing up my typing. So don't mind my typos.

I'll be playing Dag Stoutspark, a dwarven alchemist and science enthusiast.  Of course, he understands that science is considered by some to be a superstition, and he won't be expecting any of you to perform complex mathematical rites or carry prisms.  If the discussion does range to proofs on the insufficiency of the 4 element system, I will cut him off, so it doesn't get too bogged down.

In RL I'm so old (46), so I'm still typing on a typewriter and logging in on my AOL account with a 56k baud modem.  Or not.  :)  I'm actually taking a course over the summer that is a Creative Writing seminar, so I can continue my Grad Education (it's a thing I have to do for my job) so I'll be unashamedly testing stuff with the group if people are open to it.

Oh, and I've taken to using Goldenrod as my speech color, but I can change if someone else wants that.

I'm sure in 20 minutes I'll realize I should have said something important.

@Dag Lol 46? That's so young! I'm about a decade younger and I literally remember ALL of that XD. Been debating getting a typewriting though, just to be obnoxious.

And I would love for you to test out some writing stuff on me at least. I have been debating going back to school for creative writing myself. I'm trying to actually use my course to leverage a position in UX writing and game writing. I'd love updates on your classes :)

I'll be playing Remy, an old Goblin sorcerer ex-hermit who hunts for rare ingredients to create his ultimate meal.

I'm a compsci undergrad. Both PF2e and the play-by-post format are new to me. I've played in a few D&D 4e/5e games a few years ago and am looking forward to getting back into RP.

@Remy - Welcome!  Hope this is an enjoyable game for you.

@Canary - I'll let folks know when I have things to share.  I have a short story I'd be happy to share that I wrote a number of years ago, but I'll have to see how my summer class wants to handle things.  It might be more of a writer's workshop, or it might be something that I need outside feedback on.  I'm excited about having 8 hours a week dedicated to just writing.

How are we doing? I've been sporadic myself. My smarter, more poised half is still recovering from surgery, but she's on the mend and the operation (as far as we can see) has been a success! It means my routine's coming back around, but really it's a big win in this house.

Anyway, hope you're all staying awesome :)

@Canary - Right now is the crazy at the end of the school year.  In two weeks it will be so much less stressful.
