Hmm... Just making sure, but if Roulette received a Condition, doesn't that mean she's supposed to immediately do something in response to that?

I suppose I could go after Catseye next, though maybe it'd be better if Andi resolves taking a blow first.

Ah, folks, as you probably know I have mistakenly posted a private message in the current IC thread.  My apologies to y'all and especially our prospective new player (if I haven't chased them away).  It has all been corrected.

Hopefully, the current workload I am under will dissipate soon enough and I won't be posting as many red-eyed and rushed posts so often.

Much-delayed IC post should be up tonight or Saturday night. :-)

Yeah, same here. I'm afraid I really lost track of things.

For instance: where are we on Team Points?

I think we currently have 3 Team, but not completely sure. We definitely have at least 2, though. Fortunately, Mania doesn't need the Team bonus for her roll, since it would just take her from 10 to 11, which won't make a difference. Best to save the Team for a 6 or 9. n.n

Speaking of! One of us should definitely give Examplar a Team boost to bump that Pierce up to a 10. I'd recommend She-Hulk do the spend, since she did the talking, but I don't think it technically matters who claims to spend the point so long as it's taken care of narratively, so if she doesn't wanna, I will.

Changing Masks from Creamy to Chunky

Hi, folks, sorry I was away for so long.  Believe me, I am the last to point fingers for a laid-back posting schedule this Covid decade and holiday season.

Regarding teams, let's leave that fluid for now.  I don't know yet what players are staying, leaving or joining in the long term.  You are a Team the moment we need the Team rules, whatever your immediate makeup.   And five minutes later, you might be part of a different group of classmates suddenly become a Team (in the rules sense) as the SNIKT suddenly hits the fan.  Team Points can be calculated as needed per crisis.

That's not ideal, I know.  But for awhile, I need to just keep a story going.  It took forever to setup this game and now it needs to run.  It is a bit like fostering kids, what they need more than anything at first is a quiet and predictable routine.

By this point, any battle conditions will fade.  No Hellions were able to do anything continuing to you.  Indeed, the ball was against them this fight.  I wanted you to get to know them.  That is difficult to do from a relatively disadvantaged condition.  You aren't inclined to socialize then.

You have scored a few Conditions against them which will fade over time.  And you have won Influence over them, particularly the slimy Empath.  But it won't sit with him for long.

The new IC post is up, wherein a wicked offer is made and the students might begin to realize that they were never quite a protected as they were made to believe...

I think you misunderstand, we were really just wondering how many Team Points we have left in this scene after our initial calculation and spends so far. It's been a while and we haven't been keeping up with tracking that.

Re: Changing Masks from Creamy to Chunky

If Ricochet has a good idea for an assist, I wouldn't say no, even if IC E'Llar might be insufficiently appreciative. :P I was thinking of using Team selfishly, but inspiration hasn't struck yet...

And yeah, I was wondering about Team points for now. We really should have a thread for tracking them, especially now that we are on track. I would like to finish consolidating Teams eventually, but I get that it would be rather tricky in our current situation.

Re: Changing Masks from Creamy to Chunky

Oh, I was just thinking of spending a Team Point to say that She-Hulk's dialogue was helping you, unless She-Hulk herself wants to spend the point for that first.

Team Points could easily be tracked at the bottom of the GM's posts, and also our posts when we spend them (if we know how many we had before, I mean).

Re: Changing Masks from Creamy to Chunky

I've kind of bollixed up the Team points this encounter.  But I do like the idea of keeping a running total of Team points at the bottom of every reply (Thanks, Richochet :-) ).

IC post up.  You have made a new friend but have you gained a new enemy?

Re: Changing Masks from Creamy to Chunky

Re: team and rolls. I appreciate that one shouldn't get too caught up in them. Still, I would like to ask more questions about the White Queen if possible, so maybe we could add a team point assist and more questions from my move retroactively? They do seem pertinent in this case. I could just make my guesses of course, but I wouldn't mind knowing something "officially" to smoothen the path. :P

Also, where was Bluebird during all of this? I guess she was in the restaurant but only emerged now?

...more pertinently, is it supposed to be Invisible Girl/Woman saying:
"So we have learned that is better to recruit from the Stanley School and others rather than train for ourselves.  So I ask you to join us and live beyond the rules of others."?

I think the boss needs to read over that post and adjust the colors a li'l.

Hopefully Rico doesn't need to make any rolls for that speech, because the only possible stats that could be used for it are terrible. :P

Re: Changing Masks from Creamy to Chunky

Very busy, unfortunately. Also, to be honest, I do not like to have to "assume" things. It does seem overwhelmingly likely that the colour of that line of dialogue was wrong, but I'd rather it was confirmed before I replied, given how important it is. Either way, it leaves the question of what Sue Storm is doing here...
