"Bling bling bling bling!" A slot machine screams at you as soon as you enter the automatic double doors. The next thing to hit you is the stench of cigarettes. Once your brain has calibrated the sounds and smells your sight takes in the fake gold plated statue of Tymora: goddess of luck. You know it's Tymora because it says so on the sign next to her.

Not here for the gambling Yvonne almost entirely ignores the machines themselves.  The people using them get the same sort of threat assessment inspection everyone else she has passed since entering the town got, but none of them seem worth the effort of explaining why their inside bits are on the outside.

Paying the automated room system she selects a normal single person room with room service rather than the always somehow overly small ones intentionally sized for small people who can't manage in the bigger world, and makes her way there without interacting with any of the overly complicated theft the building is truly intended for.

Thankfully, the sight, sound and smell of the room is all 100% better than the 1st floor. Once she is settled in, but before she can shut off for peace and quiet, the room's TV wall flickers on without allowing Yvonne to choose to accept or refuse the broadcast. It is a live video chat from the Priestess.

Agatha-halfling-is in silky white and pink robes that continuously flow, defying gravity. Beneath their translucence you see she's got nothing else on, but all the good bits are properly disguised. Her skin is tan, hair is blonde, and she has a gold crown on her head with "Fortune Favors The Bold" engraved into it.

"Typically this is just a video chat, but I'd really like to visit you in person. It's very rare we get someone like you in town. What do you say? I'll even make the visit half off."

She winks, but behind the wink you can see she's got a deeper purpose other than to sell her body to you.

Already in a similar state of undress Yvonne even has unpacked her small kit of bathroom supplies in addition to shedding almost all of her clothing by the time the priestess connects to her wall.  Without anything like modesty she looks up at the intrusion and replies abruptly but politely.  ”I will be in the bath for about an hour, you can leave your message on the wall if you like.”

A hint of concern in the microexpressions of her smile. "Well somethings are best said in person, but I won't twist your arm...unless you want me to."

The TV clicks off.

After your bath there is no message.

Well past an hour later, but not quite two, a considerably less hyper Yvonne emerges from the bathroom and heads directly for the bed, in the absence of any other pressing business or messages to review she hops herself up to what a human would likely call a full sized bed, but for her easily exceeds the relative dimensions of a king sized one, and in moments her exhaustion from the long day of fighting and rough travel sends her off to a peaceful and dreamless sleep.

The absence of dreams is more common than one might think. The brain has been rewired not to think for itself, not to imagine. Without requesting a subconscious live stream of entertainment, your mind is completely blank as you sleep.

Which means you're opening your eyes again in what feels like 5 seconds of darkness, in a completely different position from what you fell asleep in, a bit of drool on the pillow, it's 8 hours later.
