Menden brutally attacks the archer his dagger repeatedly stabbing the bandit in the face and neck. It takes a moment for Menden and Telorn to realize what just happened as blood and brain matter soak the forest floor, an offering to God's of slaughter.

Slow turns are up

Neldi pretends to continue casting about for the hidden voice as he runs, angling to pass in front of the tree the man is hiding behind, attempting to feint the man into turning to attack him as he runs by, only to step around the tree from the other side to attack.

He stops when out of sight from the hidden man, putting his back to the tree momentarily and gesturing wildly to Alvaren, pointing behind the tree to let his sling-wielding friend know where the man is.

15:29, Today: Neldi rolled 17 using 1d20+1.  feint action.

Alarven, having followed Neldi's lead, finds himself stumbling to a halt with surprise as a skulking opponent is flushed out of the bush in front of him. Spinning up the loaded sling he had palmed, Alarven fires his rock.

With a very angry tone, having been given a warning shot with an arrow, Alarven calls out to the opponent Neldi has cornered. "Call them off! Choose life, or choose rocks! Lots of rocks!"

Praise Ghostwolf, dice exorcist! Total: 18 (18+1-1bane)

"Bookworm! Where's the spell!?" yells the Voice, as the sling stone careens off his chest.

"It's not working!" yells the chanting voice.

Both curse and take off into the woods.

Unless you're giving chase, combat is over.

If you wish to attack him, we will need to continue the combat and everyone will need to declare Slow or Fast Turns.

If you throw a dagger at someone in a dark forest and you miss, you will likely lose that dagger.

if I am still within Range before he runs too far, parting shot - a rock as he flees. I can't take three banes for a staggering shot here, so I'm just going to try to shoot with 1 cover bane. UPDATE: Let's Rock.

Alarven calls out to the retreating bandit, "And take this with you, some company for the road you..." Alarven let's out a grunt as he arcs the stone as hard as he can at this range. "...Hooligan!"

08:03, Today: Alarven rolled 6 using 1d6.  Cover bane

Menden doubles over, wheezing as the adrenaline fades.  Still, he finds the energy to yell after the fleeing brigands,“You chose death.  If you come back, I won’t give you the option of a game.”
