Requesting to Join
1. Most importantly, read
all available Notice threads before sending across a RTJ. Do not rush your application.
1a. With their permission, I have edited and made public one existing character's prologue thread. I would recommend reading through at least some of the thread so you get an idea of the posting style and what can be expected from the game and of yourself when joining.
2. Secondly, I am looking for good writers and role players over game system experts or powerful characters.
2. Game will be played using the standard Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition ruleset. Some knowledge of 5th edition is recommended. No knowledge of the Forgotten Realms setting is required.

4. The following is not permitted
No race which has a fly speed at 1st level.
5. Parties will consist of
four to five players, playing one character each. Applications will be open for 48 hours from the Wanted - Players advertisement and the selection process may take up to four days. I will be in touch with all players who follow the RTJ guidelines and keep them updated on the progress of their application. Players will be selected based on their concept, character class, background and writing ability.
6. When submitting a RTJ I would like the following information.
Character Name
Character Race and Class from allowed sourcebooks
Appearance, one solid paragraph
Personality, one solid paragraph
Brief Background, no more than 500 words
Optional: I do love character portraits
Please also answer the following questions.
How and why is your character in Athkatla?
What are your future plans (1st to 4th level) for the character? (In character plans and any subclass/multiclass plans.)
6a. Please submit only
one character proposal.
6b. I
do not want a character sheet. If you send a character sheet your application will not be considered.

Use the 27-point buy method for determining your ability scores.
Point Buy Calculator
Maximum Hit Points at 1st level.
Don't roll for starting gold but take the equipment provided by your class and background.
You can sell (at full price) anything you don't want, and you can make any purchases with your available funds.
Encumbrance will be calculated. Coins have no weight.
Electrum Pieces will not be used.
