That will be more important and necessary when you enter the caves of chaos.  In the wilderness, not so much.

Which cave are you guys approaching?  Two caves could qualify as "nearest."  To the right is the one that is lowest to the ground and closest to the widest pint where the ravine begins.  To the left is one that is physically closer to where you entered the ravine, but is a little higher up and a little further from the ravine entrance.

The lowest one. Easier to retreat from.

Reea has the best armor and the most hit points, so she should be in the front. I already know our characters aren't high enough in level to survive this.  :(

I think the key is we don't have to fight everything.

Give Gyp a chance to parlay, as he has a Charisma bonus then the auto attack on the lower end of the Monster Reaction check will be avoided.

Since there is room for a 'double-file', Falco will be to Reea's immediate left.

Simon will be to Gyp's immediate left.

I'm not sure having two wizards in the second rank makes any sense. If one of the front line fighters goes down the mages are sitting ducks in melee, and they can hardly step into the gap. Leozaren might be a better fit for one of them, low HP countered by low AC.

Pretty sure Gyp is a thief, not a spellcaster.

Also, for the group, we are using "side" initiative, so you guys have the initiative with that 2.  You may post actions with die rolls.
