Re: Bad Shrooms in the Goomb

In reply to Breya (msg # 987):

Breya helped turn a man's life around by teaching him that he could chop onions with his butt if he learned how to clench the knife handle.

It's not Breya's appearance that makes her beautiful. It's her commitment to helping her fellow man that makes her beautiful.

It's about bedtime +3 hours for me here now, or I'd keep at it.

I assume that the gnome with owlbears that my character was looking is no longer an issue?

Kam, at the moment, the only way you'd know is to go over and check.  (Note: I haven't checked the boards since my last post.  So if you've done something since then, the answer may be yes.)

Okay, but did you fully read my post before you posted that Kamatar had changed his focus in time to see the reptilian folk climbing up the opposite side of the ship from the ladder.

My last posted had my character watching the fallen gnome (with two of Kamatar's arrows in her) who had previously been controlling the owlbears.

Since your last post didn't mention what happened to the gnome whatsoever, I'm a little curious as what happened with the gnome and the owlbears. Especially since my character rolled a 27 on his Perception skill.

Re: Bad Shrooms in the Goomb

In reply to Kamatar Yu Pan (msg # 1004):

I did not consider you to have taken your eyes off the gnome Kam.  You just happened to notice the other thing too.  Since they were in opposite directions, I just wanted to emphasize that the other thing was going on away from the owlbear fight.

I consider you to be able to keep both sides of the battle field from your vantage point/by switching your focus.  That's all.  Sorry if that caused confusion.

As to the gnome, she is reflecting on the decisions that lead her to this moment.  Or she's dead.  Either way, she ain't moving yet.  You could always send another arrow her way if you're curious.

The owl bears are attacking the villagers who are attacking back.  That's going to go on regardless.

Let me know if that answers the concern. Thanks Kam.

That addresses my concern completely, thank you.
On the other hand, if the gnome is awake and able to see, she might notice the incoming Ansel attack!!!

I don't think I'm off when I say in the IC that a group of this many 4th level PCs should have a way to scale a wall and have enough cash to lower a knotted rope.

Luckily for you the wizard is back.

Not to cast a spell, but she's light enough to be tossed on top of a wall and fix a rope :)
