Lore: Seine-Inférieure, German-occupied France

Seine-Inférieure, German-occupied France

A section of France that includes all the coastline between Le Havre in the west, and Dieppe in the east. Le Havre lies just east of Caen, which would become a famous battlefield in June 1944 after the D-Day invasions, while the Dieppe raid in 1942 would put it on the map a handful of weeks after our story.

The area from Le Havre to roughly Dieppe, was held by the 332nd Infantry Division:

Map of the area and deployment:

(can also view under "Game Map" on the top mid/left menu bar)

The 332nd Infantry Division consisted of the following sub-units at the time of our story:
 - 676th Infantry Regiment
 - 677th Infantry Regiment
 - 678th Infantry Regiment
 - 332nd Artillery Regiment
 - Engineer Battalion 332
 - Bicycle Detachment 332
 - Panzerjäger Detachment 332
 - various supply and logistics units
 - (check the lexicon.de link for the full detail, and use a browser with translation on)

Most of the combat units of the 332nd ID was spread out along the coastline, with the support units held back at positions further inland. Our story will focus mostly on these combat units on the coastline... but visits from other characters, are also possible.
