Concept and Intro:

They say The Oracle at Chrome has been receiving cryptic divine revelations from the Consciousness in the Datasphere. Something about a font of energy revealing itself in the writhing purple sands of the shifting wilderness.  A handful of seekers have returned with tales of ghostly faces apparating from glass shards in The Waste and tales of a vortex spinning in mid air wreathed in flame.  One seeker, with his dying words, spoke of a companion who entered the vortex and how he witnessed that companion’s transformation, their ascension.  Ever since, many have searched for The Apotheosis Gate.
