You have all come to the desert of desolation, either by force of the sultan far to the south or of your own volitation. Doing your best to avoid the scorching heat of the days traveling at night you have moved through this land of magic and adventure.

Be it by chance or by some gods design you have all come upon a sunken city buried beneath the sands forgotten in time. After a dangerous battle with some giant tarantula's the lost city surrendered its secrets to your group. You find old laboratories and Artisan forges, but most importantly an old lamp that radiates a powerful magical energy.

With some investigation and divine help, you have come to the conclusion that the bottle contains an evil entity and that opening it will free. Doing so will free something but will also grant you boons for 2 of the group.

Having decided to open the bottle. You have all prepared as best you can, and now find your selves standing before the lamp ready to pull the stopper.

In reply to Dungeon Master (msg # 1):

"The first boon we ask for is that the entity bring released will not be allowed to act without one party members Express permission. Thus limiting the evil it can inflict on the world. It's free to roam about, so it's better off than in its bottle. However it wont be able to do anything without our ok." Vander points out.

The Doc positions himself between the final 2 statues before the alter and say’s,

“By golly! Isn’t this exciting! The possibility that we could wish for the most fantastic of things. We could end disease or cure world hunger. We we have prepared well if you all stand near me I will call on my mistress to grant protection from magic to any that stand within 10’ of this holy incense. And I can strengthen the weapons of 2 of you my friends, imbued with divine grace they will make you unstoppable. Lastly I will prepare the mightiest of spells to ensure the entity is trapped.”

He takes from his bandolier a small turquoise candle and place’s it between the final 2 statues prepares himself to cast a mighty spell. He then looks at the others.

“So who’s weapon shalt be granted the grace of my mistress?”

OOC: will cast globe of invulnerability at the cross point between the final 2 statues and magic weapon on 2 weapons in the group just before the bottle is opened this will protect everyone within 10’ so up too next to the altar. I will be ready to cast dimensional anchor on whatever comes out of the bottle.

"Ah yes, I will make my shift as we uncork, to make the best use of time we have." He pushes the sleeves of his garments up and pulls a quarterstaff seemingly out of his sleeve. He gives a nod that he is ready.

Lupine nervously raised his hand to his covered face and hesitated, hand trembling in the air before falling back to his side.  "If it pleases, this one would advise greater caution.  Such lofty wishes are rife with loopholes for a trickster to exploit.  Perhaps the first, a condition limiting the spirit's action, would end the moment any concession to act is given.  One urges caution with such malicious and clever spirits."

Doc waves his hands and chants owner each weapon they glow briefly with a dark purple light. The light fades leaving the weapon coil to the touch.

Vander tried not to hold to hold his breath while the champion proceeded to do something very likely to get them all killed. But then, that was his line of work-same as all of them. He really wished nobody had found that thing, and wondered if he actually wished for that it would come true.

Doc chants and performs a series of complex gestures, gathering magical energies he releases them. A film of blue power crackling with white magical energy forms a globe with a 10’ radius from just before him. He then draws his spear saying,
“Tallyho then good sir knight. By Jove, be a good lad and pull that stopper. Let us get our wishes yes yes.”
