Outer Rim Territories

https://starwars.fandom.com/wi..._Territories/Legends

In 3700 BBY, the female pioneer Freia Kallea discovered a new hyperspace route which became known as the Hydian Way. Spanning the width of the galaxy, the Hydian Way ran from the Outer Rim world of Bonadan and continued through the Core Worlds to Eriadu on the other side. The Hydian helped open up much of the galaxy beyond the region known as the Slice, fundamentally altering the scale of galactic civilization. As a result, the Republic established new colonies in the Mid Rim and Outer Rim Territories.

In 3681 BBY, the resurgent Sith Empire struck back against the Republic in the Great Galactic War. Catching the Republic by surprise, the Sith seized many worlds in the Outer Rim Territories, destroyed the shipyards at Sluis Van and cut off the Rimma Trade Route. The Republic suffered further defeats at Agamar and Utapau, and was constantly harassed over the century.

Large areas of the Outer Rim Territories were ceded to the Sith Empire under the Treaty of Coruscant.

By 3653 BBY, the Republic had been driven back to the Core Worlds, leaving the Sith in control of much of the Rim. Following the Sacking of Coruscant, the Republic was forced to give up many outlying systems to the Sith in the punitive Treaty of Coruscant. The end of the Great War set the stage for a Cold War between the Sith Empire and the Republic in the years that followed. This cold war saw a number of border skirmishes and proxy wars, pushing the two superpowers to the brink of another war.

During this time, Mandalorian armor and weaponry was mysteriously seen in the hands of Outer Rim pirates. Eventually, someone was assigned to discover the source of the materials.

Ancient Tionese War (24,000 BBY)

https://starwars.com/wiki/Tionese_War

With the Republic's overwhelming industrial might fully committed to the struggle, defeat for the Tion was only a matter of time. Believing that their culture would be annihilated, the Tionese resorted to sneak and suicide attacks, devastating even isolated colony worlds in the Divide. One such attack on Okator VIII in the final months of the war left only one survivor.

These tactics served only to enrage the Republic, whose leaders embraced a doctrine of total war. Key Tionese worlds were pounded with pressure bombs, and eventually Desevro itself faced destruction under the guns of the Republic Navy. Desevro's attempt at unconditional surrender was ignored. The Republic's leaders were committed to making an example of the planet in order to intimidate the rest of the Tion into surrendering, and Desevro was blasted into a wasteland.

The war with the Republic was the Tion's swansong as a galactic power. The worlds of the now-defunct Union, (with the exception of Desevro, which remained bitterly and proudly independent), joined the Republic by 23,900 BBY as a member sector with Tion as its capital. In just a few centuries, the Tion became simply another sector of the Republic.

Horrified by the sterilization of Desevro, the Jedi subsequently broke with the Republic, although the Order agreed to defend the Republic's frontier from their bases near the Tion, watching the cluster from fortress worlds like Falang Minor.

Though the Republic was triumphant, its military's fanatical conduct of the war led the Core regions to regard a centralized military as a threat to the Republic's stability. Despite objections from both the Jedi and many Rimward systems, the standing military was downsized; the bulk of the Republic's military forces were reassigned to local sector governments, a centralized federal navy would not be re-established until 15,000 BBY.

Tion Hegemony

https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Tion_Hegemony/Legends

The Ancient & Honorable Union of the Tion Hegemony, also called the Caluula sector, was a sector in the Tion Cluster, on the edge of one of the galaxy's spiral arms. It contained a total of twenty-seven star systems.

    Abraxin system
    Brigia system
    Caluula system
    Clariv system
    Dellalt system
    Desev system
    Erediss system
    Folende system
    Kanaver system
    Kaon system
    Livien system
    Newland system
    Omman system
    Orion system
    Raxus system
    Risban system
    Rudrig system
    Saheelindeel system
    Stalimur system
    Tion system

The Tion Hegemony of the Imperial Period was divided into two quite different regions: the first region was a cluster of ancient, averagely-wealthy systems at the head of the Desevran Trace, linking the Hegemony to the Perlemian Trade Route. This region was known as the Livien Worlds for their connection to the Xim-era Livien League, and included Folende, Livien itself, and the sector capital of Desevro.

The second region was the Back Spiral, a string of systems beyond the Indrexu Spiral nebula along the Tion Trade Route. These worlds were mostly poor and had little to do economically or culturally with the Livien Worlds. The Livien Worlds even lacked a hyperlane connecting them to the Back Spiral in their sector.

The entire sector contained 175 inhabited planets.

The Tion Hegemony had been the heart of the Kingdom of Cron and Xim's empire tens of thousands of years before the Battle of Yavin. The capital planets of Xim's empire were Argai, Xim's homeworld, and Desevro, former capital of the Livien League.

Once the heart of a proud pre-Republic civilization during the Expansionist Era, the Hegemony had become a poorly administered backwater in the time of the Galactic Empire's rise. The Hegemony was dominated by the noble House of Tion. The sector was near Republic planets such as Falang Minor, Ossus, Haashimut, Rhen Var, and Sembla.

During the Cold War, an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague spread across several worlds in the Tion Hegemony, including the planet Kaon. The infection killed large numbers of civilians and transformed many people into rakghouls, which caused the Tion Hegemony to descend into chaos. Around that same time, an individual was sent to look for valuable artifacts on Orma and discovered a relic from the height of the Tion Hegemony.

Allied Tion Sector

https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Allied_Tion_sector

The Allied Tion sector was a sector located within the Outer Rim Territories. It was one of three sectors making up the Tion Cluster, along with the Tion Hegemony and the Cronese Mandate.

Circa 25,000 BBY, what became the Allied Tion was part of the Honorable Union of Desevro & Tion and Jaminere Marches, some of many fiefdoms that formed the remnants of the empire of Xim the Despot. Most of the worlds of the Allied Tion were settled during the Expansionist Era or in the early period of the Galactic Republic. The region that became the Allied Tion was traditionally a buffer between the Tion Hegemony and the worlds of the Kingdom of Cron, with the worlds of Lianna, Barseg, Cadinth and Jaminere jostling for influence.

The Tion Cluster joined the Galactic Republic circa 23,900 BBY, and in the Republic's final years, the Cluster became divided between the Tion Hegemony and the Kingdom of Cron. Both these states joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Several battles were fought here during the Clone Wars when the sector was contested between the Separatists and the Republic.

The capital of the sector was Jaminere, but the best known planet in the Allied Tion was Lianna, home of Santhe/Sienar Technologies. Other major planets in Allied Tion include Cadinth and Lorrad.

The Perlemian Trade Route passed through the Allied Tion in three star systems, making the sector significant both as a trading hub and link between the Core Worlds and the Corporate Sector, and as a strategic area. The Allied Tion's main intra-sector route was the Cadinth Run, though little of its traffic passed beyond Jaminere to Dravione and the Desevran Trace.

During the Old Republic, the Allied Tion became the most active sector of the Cluster. During the Empire, it was a seat of manufacturing and trade, and almost 15% of the galaxy's passenger liners hailed from the sector, presumably as part of Santhe Passenger and Freight. Indeed, the Allied Tion was dominated by the Santhe/Sienar corporate family, based on Lianna.

The Berg Space Station

THE BERG is a space station built into an asteroid that has been mostly hollowed out due to mining operations. Through several changes in ownership, Papah Houg now runs it as a trading hub and destination for refugees, travellers, and others who are looking for something different in their lives. It is capable of housing around 80,000 individuals in its many varied living areas and the hangar can handle multiple ships of Large size and smaller.

Defenses have been built into the outer walls of the station with a few orbiting platforms as well. Activity in the area has called for heightened security while attempting to admit those fleeing the many conflicts occurring in the galaxy. It is also serviced by a small defense squadron capable of escorting ships in to dock and repelling enemy fighter craft.

All are welcome, or so the saying goes, as long as you don't cause trouble.
