Apologies for being away the last day. I'm an essential worker and was absolutely beat when I got home yesterday. Just fed the cat and passed out.

Also being an essential worker, i can understand that. This day and age, for us, it can be so tiring

Oof, that is not a joy. None of this is joy. Except the game. I hope the game will be good.

Alright, I'm done with my char sheet as far as I can tell. It's posted in my character thread if you wanna look through it storyteller.

anyway, are we gonna have any previous history between the characters, or are we all gonna be freshly grouped up, and/or new recruits in the league?

That is a good question and something I wanted to discuss and then forgot...

Edward has serves for the last fifteenish years of the war in Breland army, until they had to part ways in a strained manner.

He was a researcher and aid, so if anyone run in similar circles they could have crossed paths. After his discharge he joined the League which makes him (if I read things correctly) a relatively new member.

Which front were you on? I myself was with a dragonmarked contingent in support, Ghallanda, on the western front.

My knowledge of the setting doesn't reach that far, so I left it loose, happy if the Storyteller has ideas where it would be best, in regard to either PCs or NPCs.

Might as well have been he moved around a bit...

Sebastian is only 160 years old, but he spent his time in the last war entertaining the troups, travelling from town to town, city to city.  He became a cleric to help people (or so he says)  So he is fairly new to the league.

In reply to Edward (msg # 61):

Well there's so many different ways to have been in the war! I'm sure whichever you come up with will bring something cool. Without interjecting in a place that isn't my business it depends if you want to have been on a well-provisioned part of the war (Cyre), or if you want to have made hard morally grey decisions (Thrane/Darguun), or been the underdog using Brelish ingenuity and grit to survive (Aundair and Argonth), or dealt with insurrection and terror (internal, coastline), or been part of a conflict that opened up on a long neglected border, fighting monsters who occupy the far marches of your nation (Droaam/The Barrens).

edward, perhaps we can have a omewhat linked history through my former master. He was a magic user in the war (A lazy and egotistical magic user) who you may have seen her with (Mistaken her for a servant maybe).

Like you, she would be reasonably new, as her magical experience would have been in researching and not in practical use much

Cassia was in the war of the word, she worked at the Korranberg Chronicle during the last years of the War. I mean it was an intern position but still....She learned quite a bit during those times. Also she was in the office band.

Typical . . . gnomes in an office band. What about bands for the weekend, hm? Get yourself a good dwarven home owner's association band, that's where the real music is!

Sounds good Lyndra, between libraries and meetings they could have easily crossed paths. If she was allowed to research on her own, maybe they run into each other a few times and help the other find what they were looking for. I assume that wartime makes organizing things more important, but also less likely.

she spent most of her research time on her own, so that would have been easy to cross paths. She is quite pretty looking but very withdrawn and antisocial, so maybe speaking books and magic was a link to her opening up.
