Welcome to the game!

We'll begin the Attribute Auction on Wednesday, June 16.

In order to get the Auction done as quickly as possible, we will be bidding on all four attributes simultaneously.

At the end of each round, the top rank in each attribute will be announced. The next round will be announced, players may submit further bids during that time (usually 24 hours, but we can go faster if the players agree to shorter rounds). The auction continues until all players have stated no further bids in each attribute.

Remember that points bid are points spent. You cannot take back a bid.

Players will know what the top rank is, but not who it is. The only way to find out who is ranked where is to interact with each other.

You may 'buy up' to a higher rank after the auction, in which case you are considered a 'close second' to the person who actually bid.


FAQ

1. Can I play someone from the Courts of Chaos?
    Yes. Remember that Logrus Mastery/Shape Shifting costs 80 points and will leave you with very little for the Auction, shadows, objects, etc.

2. Can I have Dierdre as a mother?
    Yes, insofar as you can state a preference for parentage. Whether she actually is your mother is up to the GM, as is whether your mother is pre-Patternfall Dierdre or a post-Patternfall version.

3. Is there anyone off-limits as a parent?
    Technically, no. However, some choices are better suited to Bad Stuff characters and/or carry significant baggage. (Sand and Delwin, for example, are known to be ambivalent towards Amber, at best.)
