If it is a DC20 strength check, anyone with a 10 strength (or even 0 total athletics bonus) can eventually open it.  Unless there is something that stops them from repeated effort.

Does everyone have to make a check when we enter? Do others see or hear some kind of effect?

How long is that water breathing ritual good for?

Water breathing lasts for 24 hours in both spell and ritual format.

Yeah sure, I forgot to roll my short rest die when I was unconscious, so this short rest should be fine by me.

Darn, just found out I can't really roll for short rest when unconscious, so I only have one hp for this fight.

Within 24 hours I will auto roll their strongest attack/burn their strongest spell on the crab.

That doesn't give you many options ;) I need to roll my invocations. That may change things.

EDIT: Actually there is no choice (just checked). My entire arsenal has one damage dealing spell. The downside of random generation ;)

Only need one if it is the right one, probably want a cantrip too for when that runs out.
