Exactly what was spent...

Speaking probably meant that the fellow didn't have both hands on his gun and felt like an opening to Shasa. With three guns trained in the direction of the lone remaining crewman, she went on the move so she could cover them in turn. "Cover me, sésatas."

With the doc coming up the ladder, Shasa timed her movement to Kaos' and remaining crewman's chattering, and flung herself through to the next deck down, aiming for where the dead crewman's corpse was lying motionless. She wanted to get that gun and then find cover.

With Tactical Awareness, I believe Shasa should be able to move down toward the dead body, snatch the weapon he had used, and then get behind cover (i.e. finish her move). Let me know if that doesn't work for some reason.

Free-Fall: 17 (vs. TN 11) with 1 stunt point. Stunt point being used for GOOD INSTINCTS. Roll is an 11.

Asha stays where she's at in case she has to cover Shasa.

Abang climbs up the ladder a bit and with his gun drawn. He doesn’t see anybody hostile. He does see Kattalin on the right side still up on the Troop berthing deck, covering the left side of the CIC deck, and Asha, also up on the Troop berthing deck but on the left side covering right side of the CIC deck.

Kattalin and Asha do not see any hostiles, but if nay come into their respective fields of view they can be easily engaged.

Shasa leaps down to the CIC deck, landing on the right side, and quickly picking up the dead mans gun she finds cover along the right side of the rail gun conduit. She too doesn’t see the hostile down here…

[Private to Shasa Quan: You quickly determine that the gun you picked up (It’s a futuristic MP-7) is useless to you. It’s either keyed to the dead man’s armor, or to a chip embedded in his hands. The gun itself has as extended magazine, collapsible stock, a folding foregrip, fiber optic sights, a laser targeting module on the right side, a compact flashlight on the left side.

The side of the deck you are on is configured as a combination flight/command deck, and has 8 crew stations, and a raised tactical command table in the center.

The hostile has to be on the left side, possible opposite or diagonal from you.]

Having no targets Abang finishes the climb into CIC and moves to the right to cover that angle and start looking for where the missing hostile may have gone.

With the hostile clearly not on the way back Kattalin drops down to join Abang in the CIC, setting up to cover the opposite side of the entrance while the others join them.

Shasa frowned at the weapon she'd picked up. Might as well have been a toy for all she could use the thing, apparently. However, it did maybe give her a chance to make a distraction. She nodded at Abang and Kattalin as they quietly moved, and pointed toward where she was best guessing the hostile was so that Asha would cover in the right direction.

At what seemed like an opportune time Shasa tossed the useless submachine gun so it clattered loudly and then skittered through what she expected was the enemy's visible section of the deck.

Hopefully the distraction would create an opening for her and her allies.

After picking up the dead man’s SMG/PDW, Shasa takes cover along the right side of the rail gun conduit as the ship crewman still alive fires shoots at her. The rounds hit along the rail gun conduit but do not penetrate.

Dr. Koas climbs up on to the CIC deck and takes cover next to Shasa. It's at this point the two realize they are standing/crouching on top of

Kattalin climbs down the ladder into the CIC deck the lone ship crewman fires at her but like those fired as Shasa they only hit the rail gun conduit. With Dr. Koas and Shasa using the right side of the rail gun conduit for cover, the only place the Martian woman can use as cover herself is to stand over the ladder well with her legs spread apart.

Shasa, Dr Koas, and Kattalin quickly realize that in order to engage and shoot at the remaining ship crewman on this deck they would have to expose themselves. But conversely there is no way for him to get off this deck unless the ship crewman exposes himself.

Shasa tosses the PDW she recovered off the dead guy around the ‘corner’ and to the left to cause a distraction.

OOC: Just to clarify, the bad guy is somewhere on the upper left side of the deck (based off of where the gunfire came from.

Kattalin watches the incomming fire glance off the important ship components with a bit of a grimace, but collects herself quickly enough to transmit on their local subgroup channel. "We don't have a lot of time to play funny games with this guy, someone quick run across his field of fire to draw his attention and I will end him."

Shasa nodded. "Sure thing. Na desh séfetiye napelésh ere kuxaku, eh?" With that, the belter took off across the area she suspected was right in the remaining enemy's line of fire, hoping to draw him out if possible. If not, then Shasa should have a good flanking position on the bad guy.

Abang slips his medical duffle off his shoulder and speaks just loudly enough to be heard across the deck, "We don't have time for this, go down, the Belter can keep them under covering fire till we're underway,"  Then he slides over the rail gun conduit and pads quickly and quietly across the deck with his small pistol at ready, trying to get an angle to fire on the hiding hostile.

With the distraction in place, and her ally drawing fire Kattalin has the opportunity to maneuver into a good position without to much fear of being shot at or distracted herself on the way in and puts a well aimed shot into some of the man's vulnerable bits.

Shasa runs out from the protective cover of the rail gun conduit. She manages to draw the attention of the enemy and gets shot at as she dives behind the tactical command table on the right side of the deck.

Kattalin takes this opportunity to move around the left side of the rail gun conduit and after getting behind the first of the non-shot up crew stations fires on the ship crewman. She hits the man in the side of his armor and looks to be in obvious pain but doesn’t go down. He does stagger back and away from the tactical table on the left side of the deck that he was using as cover.

Abang stays put as gunfire is exchanged. As soon as there is a lull in the gunfire, he moves from the safety of the rail gun conduit and across to take cover behind the two ventral/forward facing crew stations.

BUT if you take the defend action and hunker down under the instrument consoles you actually won't get hit as it adds +2 to defense. Hopefully Abang shoots the guy if you defend.]

With the decoy effort done Kattalin switches roles, and becomes the distraction herself, ducking back behind cover and out of line of sight while leaving the other two free to act against their one remaining threat.

Shasa gritted her teeth against the pain. She refused to give the enemy any satisfaction of knowing he successfully lodged at least one bullet in her. Probably more. Of course now she’d have to avoid the blood, and vacuum would be very bad. Shasa had experienced better days, but didn’t let that keep her down.

The belter hobbled a little out from the cover she’d found, fired off a wild shot and then got her barely-conscious self back behind something solid.

Asha climbs down to the CIC deck and steps off to the right to avoid the gunfire being fired at Kattlin along the left side of the deck.

The vessel begins to lurch and move, as if pushing off from the dock, there is a bit of resistance at first, but it quickly goes away.

Shasa fires at the remaining ship crewman and misses.

Kattalin takes cover from the incoming fire. The consoles near her end up getting shattered and destroyed, while the crash couch she is near is also struck by several rounds and begins to ooze the cushioning gel used within crash couches.

Dr. Abang Kaos fires a sleeper round from his dinky revolver and hits the lone ship crewman in the left side of his neck. The man doesn't even react to getting shot and instead just collapses to the deck.

Asha stands next the rail gun conduit.

Although there is no longer a gunfight occurring in the ships CIC another one appears to have begun within the vertical ladder well. More PDW fire from the ship crew is heard coming from below along with some return rifle fire from above. Then all the shooting abruptly stops.

If your character decides to start looking at the various consoles and begins to try and access ships systems, please hold off on making any rolls.

I’m going to provide a list of ships systems that need to be accessed.

Some require a standard test with a threshold while other will be advanced tests that may require two characters to work together. Some of the advanced tests will take hours to complete.

Abang moves back over to where he dropped his medical bag and retrieves it, "Did anyone get hit?"

With the hail of bullets done Kattalin quickly gets out from behind the heavily damaged couch that probably isn't as good of cover any more and makes her way down the hall to the unconscious man to separate him from his weapon just in case.  As she starts to inspect his equipment more closely she calls over her shoulder. "No new air holes yet, but we might want to not do that again if we don't have to."
