Having never taken off her vacuum suit, and been lucky enough to not get it shot full of holes Kattalin notices the fall in cabin pressure mostly in the form of swirling smoke and blinking lights, while she stays focused on the much more significant threat outside she sets the now functional sensor systems to their active and defensive state.

Shasa kept her body loose and her mouth open as the pressure started to drop, just in case they ended up in vacuum. But their new ship seemed to deal with the issue relatively quickly. Nice Ship

As the others moved to the consoles, Shasa checked the seals then did the same, again looking to see if she could gather any more information than the last time.

OOC: Asha should have 3 stunt points instead of 2 due to Inspire.

Do we have any more cameras? If not, Shasa is just going to look at status information and see if she can provide any further info. Also, if she has access to any external weapons, she can probably help with targeting/firing. Let me know if that's an option.

The sounds of Point Defense Cannons can be heard and felt being fired as most everyone does something.

Kattalin shuts off the decompression alarm, and work on jamming any communications other than their ad-hoc hand terminal network.

[Private to Kattalin Zubiri: You quickly realize, that there are no other ships within communication range to jam. Whomever fired the torpedoes is either thousands of kilometers away, got blown away, or is below the horizon of Eros.]

The ship’s sensors indicates that the Ba’al, a friendly vessel is nearby, and they also pick up three groups of ships that are vectoring away from Eros, and Kattalin pushes the data up on the various monitors throughout the CIC so all can see.

All three groups of ships are tens of thousands of kilometers away, and it is highly unlikely they fired the two torpedos.

• The first group of vessels are identified as the Amun-Ra, Amu-Aa, and the Montu. The mostly captured stealth assault frigate registers these three vessels as friendly. The three vessels are vectoring to a destination within the Belt, but not near any known stations.
• The second groups of vessels consist of an unknown science vessel, an unknown light freighter, and the Osiris, another friendly vessel. These three vessels are vectoring towards the Jupiter system.
• The last ‘group’ is just a single ship. It is not squaking anything on IFF, but the ships computer identifies the vessel's hull profile as an MCRN Corvette class light frigate. The computer cannot match the vessel's drive signature with any known vessels in the computer. Thus, the ship’s computer logs the vessel as unidentified MCRN Corvette class light frigate #1.

Asha works quickly to repressurize the ship’s various compartments back to a comfortable one atmosphere. She does notice something odd about Deck 15…

Shasa moves to a station and checks the exterior cameras.

[Private to Shasa Quan: You witness a pair of inbound torpedoes getting destroyed by the ship’s PDC’s. There is nothing out there that appears to have fired them.]

At the same time as the PDC’s stop firing, the air pressure in the cabin begins to rise, and stops at what everyone feels is normal.

There is still a little bit of smoke in the air, and one of the dead bodies having been blown in half by the PDC rounds that passed thorugh the ship has its insides beginning to float around everywhere.

OOC: Your out of ‘combat’ (for now).

Shasa responded to the request from Alis since things had settled for a moment. "CIC quiet and has air. Still no internal camera. One more dead body here, but maybe two more still aboard that be less dead?"

Asha looks into why the air pressure on deck 15 was higher then one atmosphere of pressure and gets an answer.

"Pressure on deck 15 higher then normal, I think a water tank got shot full of holes, and deck is full of water."

It didn't look like anyone else was going to do it, so Abang secures their unconscious prisoner to a crash couch. He then moves to the closest intact body with the intention of doing the same.

The hatch to the upper deck opens up and Sato yells down "This is Sato coming down!" so at to avoid getting shot.

Seeing that CIC was truly a mess he checked in. "I sent the other guy to the crew airlock deck to check on the people we have there."

"Ya, Sato. Welcome. CIC full of people. Some alive. Some not so. Ship is now secure, yes?" She looked at the hatch with interest, though didn't scramble out of the CIC just yet.

Looking up from the system interface for the first time since she shot someone Kattalin takes a few moments to assess the state of the room before she recalls what got her attention. "As urgent as clearing and controlling the ship is, that water is more important than anything else.  Without it we don't get anywhere so we should head down there and see about fixing whatever holes, or source of sabotage we find as soon as possible."

Anyone who inspects the ship's communication system will find that the active radio communications (sending) are completely locked out, but passive (receiving) is not. The vessel’s tight beam communications are working, but they do require a line of sight communicate with other vessels/stations.

"We got people on the command deck who can operate the ship, so let's get an engineering crew down to engineering." Looking around he didn't know who knew what to do on a ship other than Asha, and Abang.

As he straps down one of the intact dead bodies Dr. Kaos. "This ship has a med bay. I'd like to get the wounded man we transported over into surgery and look at anyone else who needs medical attention."

The hatch to the lower decks opens up and the large Earther (Yuri) announces himself before coming through the hatch. Behind him is one of the Belters (Sancho). Both men were part of the group that went to secure the smaller ship.

OOC: Other then Alis, all of the PC's on the big ship are in CIC.

Sancho goes through the hatch. "Any idea where the rest of the enemy are ?" he asks the others present.

Shasa shook her head at the question. "Been holed up here and no cameras yet. If none below, we have engineering access, yes? Then just need to clear out between here and bridge."

The belter looked around at the others, thinking about who would be good in engineering. She waited to hear from Sancho about the status before suggesting any sort of split, however.

Sancho went and checked a console as to the status of access and to see if he could bring any of the cameras online. "I am happy to go and find them if that's what needs to be done."

Shasa nodded. "Together, yes? Better in numbers."

"I go too, also," said Yuri.

"As for ship systems, I am gunner."

“We cleared everything from the command deck to here. We still need to check engineering I think.”

"Right, well lets head that way and get it done." Sancho did a quick visual check as he followed someone who knew where to go.

Setting her console into its standby mode so bumping it doesn't do anything stupid Kattalin draws the pistol again and nods to the ladder. "Lead the way down, we have to get to engineering anyways, we may as well clear the path while we do."

While some individuals head down to engineering others carry out other tasks.

Shinsato Hirotsugu (NPC) heads back up to the command deck.

Dr. Abang Kaos (NPC) along with Helper Guy (NPC) follow Sato but stop at the Crew Airlock Deck to collect the man who is gut shot.

Those heading to engineering pass through a galley for embarked troops, then a medical deck with access to the forward breaching pods.

On the Cargo Airlock Deck the group finds Shaved Head (NPC) apparently on watch for anyone coming up from the lower decks.

Heading down further and after passing through one deck allocated to being an armory/weapons locker, and another allocated soley to being access to the aft breaching pods the goup gets to the Machine shop/gym deck.

The hatch leading to Engineering is still closed, and shows that the atmospheric pressure on the other side is oddly, at 1.3 atmospheres.

OOC: Vessel is still operating on 'the float.'

Sancho pointed out the atmosphere anomaly as he watched the others "stack up" to the side of the engineering hatch. He would trigger it opening and then enter the space with his SMG at his shoulder.

Shasa nodded at the others that all planned to go to engineering, then moved gingerly toward the hatch and headed down/aft. As they all got ready, Shasa considered the additional pressure. She pointed toward then made a very quiet whooshing noise and a movement with her hand in a direction away from the hatch.

The Belter closed her mouth tightly and pinched her nose closed for emphasis.
