As for the guard, he has leather armor with a cap helm that is pointed and has a neck guard in leather, a round wooden shield and is proficient with scimitar, spear, dagger and short bow. For our purposes he is a 1st-level Fighter. If you want to inspire true loyalty without having to keep charming him a share of the treasure, even if it is a half share, would go a long way.
I'm going with Charm spells not overlapping but replacing. That would mean better to cast it once a week or so, until you figure out his INT, as it's pretty clear he won't get a save every day. Just not that bright.
Let's call him Alperen. He is this point TN alignment, though has some Chaotic tendencies (not CN as he will abide by a contract signed.)
