Re: Off Topic
The question makes sense and is valid. Lyndis, specifically, can understand what he's saying and recognize that it's a Dwarvish dialect. Dwarfish? Both are correct, what do I do?! He's not a fish so I'll stick with the v.
It was going to come out in-game eventually so I'll just spell it out for you as players, OUT OF GAME. You can decide amongst yourselves when you recognize this and how it comes up. I anticipate there being a conversation soon but it's entirely up to you.
You can all understand each other regardless of the language you think you're speaking, but only while using your most commonly used language (ie, the one you defaulted to on waking up.) In this case, if you speak a Dwarf dialect regularly, the other PCs will understand you when you speak but you will be the only one to understand the Dwarf. If your default is an Elvish dialect but you also know Dwarvish, PCs will understand you until you switch to Dwarvish.
The same goes for any additional language your characters might speak. I'm not super stickler on it so just casually mention when and if you think you might know a language. Or, if you prefer, add a note for additional languages to your character sheet and I'll work them in if I see fit.
All good? Any questions/clarifications?
