Problem solved!

The answer to every problem is either less or more [insert substance of choice]. Ever notice that?

I've always felt that the answer to every problem was 'yes', because the question is always 'violence?'

this dwarf really likes his axe lmao . am i crazy or is he using it as a divination tool now?

Nope, nothing to see here. I am certainly not doing something interesting at all. You all go play with your cursed dwarf and his vendetta.

Well, you walked away from the group ha ha

At this rate, this could easily end up being 2+ concurrent campaigns

I'm perfectly fine splitting the party even to the point of running separate threads for each of you. I know how to get your all back together.

Re: Off Topic

Ooh exciting :)

Well then, I won't be afraid to have Milo go on a sabbatical if the story pulls him in that direction :)

Usually I try to avoid that , even when it's the best character choice , cause I know how difficult it can be for a GM to run for a split party.

Re: Off Topic

The problem is I know things. Like how our lovely Oracle likes to distract her players with red herrings just to get them moving.

We are more or less headed in the same direction. I just have different motivations.

Plus, I'm part of her tabletop group, and I have reasons to try something different.

Re: Off Topic

Life happens while we're doing our own thing. I just like to use that to my advantage. I also don't like to railroad so I try to give character strings. They all lead to the same place eventually.

You're still heading toward your presents :)

Re: Off Topic

Milo, if you're hitting an inanimate object it won't evade, persay, though it might absorb or deflect. Either way, since the roll is on my side you're good to go.

As a general rule for everyone when it comes to your Rituals, if you're just showing off lightly to allies or you just want to throw a bit of flare into your posts, I'll allow it without a fuss. The worst that can happen is I make a roll for you.

Just be sure you are only describing your own part in it and I'll cover the outcome.
Just like you have been doing so far.

Re: Off Topic

Thank you. Edited.

Also, I love the concept of a powerful mage basically reset back to zero.

Everything he sees he's just like, "How dull" and people would be like "what, can you do that?" and he'd be like, "Well - aha ha - no... not necessarily ... "

lol

stupid lazy badgers.

Also, gotta love how the necromancer is out here rescuing children while the regular wizard is becoming an accomplice in murder. Turn those stereotypes on their head, I say!

Oh, you didn't realize I'm the real hero of the story?

I'll have you note I drank more of that poison than you did, but you were also lying about who you were to everyone, including yourself. Mouse meet cat.

Also, you clearly haven't been heading my warnings about our lovely Oracle. Do go on following your cursed companion. I look forward to what she has in store for you.

Good point. Milo just assumes you have poison resistance.

Also 'small-time fraud' is probably a step under 'attempted murder with hazardous chemicals' on the list of offensives LMAO

I'm definitely getting bad vibes from this guy (personally, I think he might be some kind of a regressor, who constantly has to live out this weird situation from start to end). But, Milo isn't me and isn't nearly as aware of storybook tropes.

I love this dynamic. I also love theories, please keep them coming.

And don't worry about Sab knowing things ooc that you don't. She hasn't played two characters in the same game in a while and she only knows the potential magnitudes. Never will I disclose my methods!

Soft drinks like Coke are only subjectively poisonous. It is a common consumable, but the sugar content alone is abhorrent. Does not stop me from drinking it because sugar is also addictive.

Re: Off Topic

Didn't know where to fit this in my post, but can I clarify that the time of day is before dusk and there is only one sun in the sky? (It presumably rises from the east like on Earth?)

Milo would have noticed any discrepancies in the astrology while he was navigating.

If it is dark out, he would also be looking at the constellations to find his way north (Arzengrande has it's own version of a "North Star" though it's less straightforward than our Polaris happens to be)
