Rules & Posting Etiquette

Rules

1. DM's rule is law
I will try to be fair with you, and I will listen to your complaints should you have any.

2. Give notice
If you're going to be gone for over two days, let me know. Failure to do so will get a PM from me. Second strike is removal from the game.

3.Be nice
Shouldn't need an explanation for this one. We're all here for a game, and to have fun. If you have issues with other players, PM me. Do not fight in general. Do not attack the party, and try to avoid other 'chaotic stupid' behavior. *See Character reminders at the bottom for  further information on this.

Posting Etiquette

Try to post once a day. I will try to do so as well. I understand if life keeps you busy for a time, but remember to give notice if something big comes up.

Post in past-tense and claim a color that is not orange for your speech. For example:

Incorrect: I walk over and pick up the thing. 'What's this?' I ask.

Correct: Grognard walks over to the thing and picks it up off of the floor.
"What's this?"
He asks, as it dangles from his hand.

"Speaking out loud should have quotation marks and colored. BOLD FOR SCREAMING! Small for whispers."

Thinking should be italicized and colored.

Languages have been set up. I will make or add access to them as you aquire the skills. use the format below (Without the space before language, and use the proper language name for you if you want something to be said publicly but prvately.

[ Language Classical:  Old timey Latin words.]

[Language unknown:  Ratsomave wierin trapreiou]
It should look like this line above

OOC Notes and rolls should be at the bottom of your post and made orange and small!
I'm going to try and do a thing like steal or whatever.
Narrator rolled 100 using 1d100.  DM example

Lastly, Try to write more than two lines in a post. Write a little bit about what your character's doing, thinking, feeling, etc. Write a little bit to bring them to life. You do not need a novel per post, but try to pump a little life into your posts. Warhammer's world is teeming with charm, and YOU are a part of it. You lucky bleeder you.

Character reminders

Just some things to keep in mind when making/Playing a character

-Remember the story isn’t just about your character. The entire party together are the main characters.

-Play a character who will cooperate with the party and that your fellow players can enjoy being around.

-Choose a central character goal that relates to the larger story. Ask why they would stick with the party?

-Play a character with flaws.

-Let your character decide what they would do, even if you (as the player) know it’s not the best idea.

-Feel free to adjust your original character idea after you play a few sessions. Playing with others may change what you originally had in mind.

-Don’t use “It’s what my character would do” as a way to justify poor behavior toward your fellow players (i.e. stealing items, bullying, etc.)
