The office, in fact, was ridiculously hard to find, but finally, there it was.  A harried woman sat behind a desk, bouncing between several electronic devices.  She looked up, clearly irritated at the interruption.

"Can I help you?" she asked.

"Sorry to interrupt, but we fought and seemingly killed this monster in the woods," Alicia said.

"Oh?" she said.  "Was anyone seriously hurt?  You should go to the Nurse's Office first if someone was hurt; the paperwork can wait for that."

"I was the only one hit by it and I'm okay," Alicia said. "It was some big thing with tentacles we couldn't get a good look at. It somehow changed the atmosphere of the forest and at least one of the trees was bleeding a green sap!"

"If no one was hurt, fill out an incident report," she said, handing over a sheaf of paper.  "We'll take action from there as is appropriate."

"Ah. Okay," Alicia said, taking the form and filling it out.

It was long.  And read like some kind of guidebook, asking a series of questions about the creature she'd fought, what it looked like, what it smelled like, how it had attacked, what it did when defeated (if defeated.)

Distressingly little of the form was about what had actually happened to her...

"Here I was attacked by that horrible thing," Alicia muttered as she filled it out.

"Maybe they figure that if you're still here, you did all right?" Rosa pondered.

"I guess," Alicia said. "This whole thing feels kind of weird."

"Yeah," said Luisa.  "...Well, I guess we're all okay, so that's fine?"

"Yeah, wasn't expecting my first real fight to be like that," Alicia said.

"We did get through it, though," said Rosa.  "...I guess we're going to need to be ready for more."

"Yeah, I wonder if they're all going to be that freaky looking?" Alicia asked.

"Did you get a good look at it, though?" said Rosa.  "I just saw brush and tentacles."
