Osmon reacted just as Solgran came into view, though he didn't see him behind him the human heard something and the wizard, out of instinct slammed his staff on the ground. The goblin is knocked back by the sheer force, but so to is Solgran effected by the spell.

But osmon didn't stick around to see that, he retreated back through the curtains.

Solgran, irritated at the wizard for the spell, decided to take his frustration out on teh goblin, and moving forward, slammed his hammer into the goblin. It was quite a sight seeing a goblin, already wounded, reduced to a mere smear of blood on the grund from the honslaught of the barbabrian.

Even after the squashed effort of the human, Bugbears came in, the front holding a longbow, the one close behind a longsword. Snoric, Yana and Allura could see from the angle there were two more.

The one with the bow took aim at the wizard, thinking him an easy target. The arrow flew true, striking the human a savage hit in the shoulder <Osmon took 7 piercing damage>

Amalia grabbed the locket around her neck, and calling to Selune, a white glow starting as she came up to the only people she saw. The white glow flowed over solgran, Osmon and amalia, even Gundren.

Yana took aim at the closest goblin and fired, the bolt flying true and piercing it's eye, dropping the goblin even before it could shoot itself.

Snoric watched as the damage creation of his tried to attack the goblin in front of it, the movements jerky and almost clumbsy compaired to normal, so the gnome took t upon himself and took aim with his firearm.

The sound of the weapon again echoed throughout the keepp, causing even the bugbears to hesitate. Even moreso when the goblin's head blew apart.

Allura came up to the bugbear, and pouring arcane energy, swiped with the magical blade. Sword and magic cleaved the bugbear in half cleanly

What few goblins remained fought with a renewed vigor and sook aim with bow and sword.  of the four that remained, three hit, though the wizard used his magic at the last minute to cause one to hesitate slightly <Chronal shift ability utilized to cancel crit on solgran> The shot was still good and pierced his arm, seemingly not phased by the injury <Solgran takes 3 damage, lowered to 1 due to raging>

Another with a bow sent a arrow towards Snoric, and pierced his arm <Snoric takes 5 piercing damage.>

luckily the last two missed the group, amining at allura and osmon

Yana ducked back out of sight.  She loaded an enchanted crossbow bolt and lined up a sniper shot on the first bugbear

Solgran followed Osmon's thunderous spell into the room, to hammer down a thunderous blow of his own; in the form of a maul strike. He would let the massive hammer ring out with a thunderous wave of its own if a solid opportunity presented itself.

Seeing the walls seemed to offer no protection from arrows anyway, Snoric replaced Ultio with his axe and leaped into the fray, charging down the nearest goblin and attacking.  A call to Muffin had the fox rushing to attack Snoric's creatures from the opposite side.


OOC: Snoric's plan is to clean up the goblins before helping with the bugbears.

Allura picked out the same bugbear her sister shot with her arrow and moved to strike it, her sword still blazing with white flames. Her face oddly serene.

She spoke in odd words again her eyes blazing white.

Amalia moved towards Solgran until she saw a target and casted her bells of death on the first enemy she saw

Toll the dead, Wis 14 DC, 11 damage if already injured, 3 damage otherwise

Today: Amalia Firnam rolled 11,3 using 1d12,1d8 with rolls of 11,3.  Toll the dead damage.

Osmon saw the goblin coming up on him, and his instincts kicked in. He held his hand out and a mote of fire sprang from his hand, firing at the beast. The shot went wide and scorched the stone on the wall, but it caused the goblin to rethink for a second even as he ducked behind a barrel.

The delay was all he needed as he came in, hammer first and slammed the goblin with a sweeping shot of Thunderstryke. As the goblin turned, it was the last thing he saw as the hammer took off his head.

The bugbears in until Snoric, Allura and yana saw the last in the door with a bow, the final count six along with the goblins - clearly their efforts had alerted every enemy in the complex.

The one with the bow took aim through the door this time drawing a bead on the tiefling. His shot flew through the door and sailed past the heroes as it hit rock. Another at the door, this one armed with javelins, through his at the gnome. the javelin sailed in and hit him in the leg <Snoric takes 5 damage>  The other four advanced menacingly, with one swiping at Muffin, narrowly missing the Metalic fox, the other swinging at Solgran with a Morningstar, barely even hurting the man. <Solgran takes 7 damage, lowered to 3 due to raging but soaked with temp HP>

Amalia came around to see the bugbear swing and called selune to punish the beast - but this enemy was strong of will and though he flinched, it looked like he had no permanent damage from the magic.

Yana took advantage of the bugbear attacking Muffin and carefully aimed her shot. She let fly, the bolt imbedding into the bugbear's chest. The beast swayed, but somehow stood tall.

Snoric replaced his firearm and limped into the room next to his metallic friend, and saw another bugbear coming to flank him. The gnome swung his hand axe, and the bugbear got his morningstar up just in time to stop the attack. Muffin, having been attemped to be hit by the bugbear, lunged in, somehow sensing they were the bigger threat. The fox landed on the bugbear, and the scream of the beast as the fox rend the beast's chest open. The Bugbear  looked less sure with the fox, covered in his allies blood all over it.

Allura came up to the uninjured bugbear and swung her sword, flames wreathing the longsword went from the bugbear's torso to the nearby goblin.

Of the two living goblins, one still rolled around in laughter from Osmon's spell. The other, now burnt and seeing the carnage, was less sure of things.....and began backing away in fear.

Yana fired again at the bugbear she previously wounded, then looked for more cover, to get another good sniper vantage point

Stays in the corner with her back to it to limit the amount of attackers.

She attacks any comers that approach with her still burning blade scoring a heavy and precise strike.

Now clearly seeing a target, the cleric prayed for the bells of death to sound, targeting the bugbear.

Snoric grunted under the pain.  If he'd had time to stop and think he'd probably be frightened but in the heat of the fighting he didn't have time to stop and think.  He just slashed away ineffectually with his handaxe at the big bugbear.  He just hoped Muffin could use the distraction to advantage:

Solgran pulled the maul's head behind him with a split grip, swung it up into the air sliding his hands back together as he brought it down over his head and slammed it down into the ground in front of him. A wave a concussive force and debris rolled out before him.

Osmon was glad for Solgran's presence in front of him - it meant the oncoming bugbears focused on the warrior and not himself. The wizard stood and saw the bugbear coming up behind the other, javelin in hand, and incanted a short word, sending a mote of fire towards it. The firebolt went wide, sparking as it hit the stone, and caused the bugbear to glare at osmon with an evil grin......osmon retreated to the safety of his barrels

Solgran barely registered the scortchmark to his left as he raised Thunderstryke in the air and slammed it down in front of him, just near the bugbear (WHo grinned, thinking he had missed. The ground shook, and both bugbears stumbled, but managed to stay standing, looking at the human with some waryness.

The bugbears facing solgran swang his weapon with such force, that the shockwave forced him to miss, but the other, looking at Osmin, threw his javelin. The magic of Amalia had helped, but the wizard felt the javelin pierce his shoulder <Osmon takes 10 piercing damage, 6 taken from temp HP>

The one with the bow took aim at the troublesome human with the crossbow, and fired his arrow striking the woman in the leg <Yana takes 9 piercing damage>.

The one south of the door took aim with his javelin at the metal fox, and with a thindering hit, the metalic companion went down in a heap, The final bugbear faced against the gnome and tiefling, injured from the burn, he faced the woman and swung his weapon, hitting her with the crunch of bone.

Amalia again called for selune to ring the bells of death towards the foul beasts, but again it winced and looked uninjured

Yana shot her crossbow at the bugbear that fired at her, and scored a minor hit. The bugbear glared at her, the two archers in a battle of wills.

Snoric barely registered as he saw Muffin crumple to the ground, his creation he put so much time into. The gnome swung his hand axe and missed the bugbear

It was allura however that was able to even the odds as her magical longsword came in, flaring with fire it cleaved into it's neck, and sliced down to it's chest as if slicing butter. The beast dropped to the ground, dead.

the last goblin fled from the room south, all thoughts of battle far from it's mind.

Trying to avoid the enemy archer, Yana will sin her sniper shot at the closest bugbear in melee combat with her friends, then she try to take cover again

The white flames flickering about her blade die away as the pain from the hit registers.
With the opponent near her vanquished she took the moment to focus on a different tactic choosing one of the bugbears near Snoric and casting Hold Person on it. She backed up then saying quickly to Snoric, "You fought bravely." She indicated the healing potion on her belt for him to take if he could.

While the flames on her blade went out her eyes were still a white glow still.



18:07, Today: Allura Whitlock rolled 5 using 1d20+1.  Concentration.
Casting Hold Person on a Bugbear near Snoric and retreating back into the room for cover by the door stepping to the side of the opening. Will offer Snoric a healing potion.

Snoric didn't respond to Allura's offer, in fact he didn't even hear it.  Tears in his eyes he continued his swipes against the bugbear.  Though his frustration cost him technique as he swung ineffectually.


Sigh: Keep getting hit with AC17, Muffin down despite AC15.  Yet I can't seem to roll above a 6 with advantage!  Guess I'd better stuck writing a new character!

Action:  Attack bugbear - Hit:10 (didn't even bother with damage)
Reaction: Cast shield if struck

Solgran went back to swinging his maul at bodies instead of the ground. There was an opportunity to repeat the thunderous attack, but the timing felt off. He sought to bring down the Bugbear, removing a larger threat first.

Amalia called for the bells to sound again, but her invocation to Selune was longer this time, as a floating sword appeared behind the bugbear and swung at it.

Bonus action spriritual weapon, but that attack misses

Amalia Firnam rolled 10,8,11 using 1d12,1d20+5,1d8+3 with rolls of 10,3,8.  toll the dead, spiritual weapon attack and damage.

Osmon saw the bugbear closest to Solgran, but instead of firing his magic, chose to fire at the bugbear sneaking up on him from the side. Standing with a grim look, he again hed his hand out and fired a mote of fire, this time striking true and singing fur. Not taking any chances, he again moved back behind the barrels

Solgran's maul, now swung up, looked at the bugbear in front with a grin, and swung with a ferice swing, hitting him in his armored stomach. The armor made little help as it cracked, the bugbear doubling over in pain.

The bugbear, singed with fire, glared at the human and threw his javelin. It flew true, and osmon was able to erect a magical shield just in time to deflect the javelin, it clattering to the side.

The bugbears facing solgran was in obvious pain as he looked up, swinging his morningstar with barely any strength, it was easy for the barbarian to sidestep.

The one win the doorway picked up an arrow, and aimed through the doorway, but couldn't see the woman with the crossbow. he groaned as he lined up the next target....Snoric. He lined up and fired, but the gnome didn't even register the arrow that narrowly missed his head.

The one south of the door took aim with his javelin at the tiefling who slew his comrade, and threw with his might. She turned to see the javelin enter her chest, dropping to the ground, her sword clattering to the ground. <Allura takes 10 piercing damage, dropping you unconscious> The final bugbear, facing snoric swung his morningstar, but was disturbed at his fury, and missed him.

Amalia call for selune again cntinued, again willing the bells of destiny to usher the beast to his doom, but this one was more focused on solgran thatn the sound of the bell

From the darkness, a crossbw bolt came, hitting the archer bugbear in his armor, but his hide armor was thick and strong.

Snoric in his anger, swung at the bugbear, blaming him for the downfall of poor Muffin, but he too missed as the bugbear looked unsure of the furious gnome

Allura lay on the ground, bleeding, but still breathing




<OOC: Round five over.  Allura is unconscious, and i am rolling death saves (First one already rolled).

The goblin has fled, leaving only bugbears.>

Snoric shook himself out of his frenzy as he saw Allura get impaled on a javelin.  Forgetting Muffin and his own safety he bent down.  "No you don't." he growled as he pulled out the javelin with one hand while chanting magic and pressing his other hand against the wound.


Move:  None (I believe Snoric is right next to Allura)
Action: Healing Touch - Allura Heals 6HP

Yana nearly cried out when she saw her sister fall, but she gritted her teeth and kept her cover as she tried to line up a sniper shot on the bugbear who felled Allura.
