4. Returning saviors
The question took Amalia by surprise and she paused to think about it. There were some things that she regretted, being the sole survivor of the shipwreck that took her entire family, she would have gladly given her life to Selune if it would have spared her parents and brother. But that was not really her decision was it? She regretted not having finished her training at the temple, but again, she had been forced to flee with her family, not her decision. And she felt that this adventure was teaching her more about life than the temple would ever have, so it was not so bad, after all!
So what was left? What had she decided in her life instead of being guided by fate?
She suddenly chuckled, remembering something she did regret "I do regret having been caught when I pranked my brother, by mixing up his component pouches before a wizard's test. He left me hanging in webs for half a day as punishment, and despite my pleas to my parents, they only said that I deserved it. And I admit I did deserve it, now that I know better, it was dangerous."
