Now we have a cast getting established I thought I would start things off with a Hello!

Yulin is a bard who will, hopefully, be keeping everyone's spirits high and rolls even higher with her inspiration and heroic tales and tunes.

Do you all feel the excitement of starting a new game and char? I know I do! I am interested in RP char development and this Amalia has lots of potential. l hope we can make this game work for a long time and have lots of fun doing it!

Amalia will certainly strive to keep everyone alive, keep close and the temp hps will come flowing... once she levels up! Lol

Allura is going to be hard to RP with I think, and for that I am sorry as a player.
Still I will be playing in a team format, and working to help the team succeed.
It's just Yana might be the nicer one to talk too.

Hello there,  everyone!  Yana here.   I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in the game.

Allura, play as you see fit to have fun, that's the goal of this game. Allura might be hard to approach to start the game, but who knows, maybe she will warm up to the group.... or maybe not, it's your char, and you play her. I've learned my lesson long ago about letting other players play their char as they wish ;)

Well that is basic RP isn't it.  DM controls the world, player controls their player.

On that note I'll try to keep you all outside the blast radius of any 'mishaps'!

As much as I love playing a disagreeable character I love even more playing alongside disagreeable characters. As a Bard I think it's going to be a lot of fun!

While Yulin's not going out of her way to hurt anyone and is actually quite sympathetic, a snarky Yuan-ti supremacist may not be the easiest person to get along with initially.

We'll all have some learning and growing to do!

Ok guys...we have 5 confirmed players, and just looking over the applications for two more. Shouldn't take more than a day or two.

Once I have them I will send each of you a private message how gundren contacted you and wanted to meet (which will be the first post from me)

Equipment/gold is just from class/background at first level?

I think so as for equipment

Before long we will be claiming our equipment, from the unworthy filth carrying it on their forms when they oppose us. So it's all good.

Updated Amalia's description, I had the wrong holy symbol and want to show her cleric of twilight dark vision  ability. We often read that drows eyes glow red in the dark, so does Amalia's eyes but its blue.

Who is the new crew member?

Is she a drow ?

No, she's variant human, but for flavor purposes, I want to represent her level 1 cleric ability Eyes of night as that soft glow in the dark.

Awesome hair color (heh) I was thinking she was an exotic race too.

Loved that picture right away when I was looking for npcs for the rpol game I GM, now I have a chance to use it :D

You were going to be a yuan-ti with this picture? What a coincidence, here I thought I was selecting one of the more obscure playable races.

The picture is amazing though. It actually inspired a class change for me, I was always going to be yuan-ti but had a different picture and class in my original application. Went from a cloaked and covered yuan-ti in hiding to an out and proud bard.

Although everyone has great pictures, even out newest arrival!

I actually play a twilight cleric in another game on RPoL with the exact same spell selection as Amalia. The character's only first level but it is a very fun subclass.

I guess we have the same tastes then lol. I'm looking forward to develop Amalia, I just have to be careful not to type cast her as the typical cleric... she'll be her own girl, and since you saw I have a familiar, she'll be double fun to play! I do love those utility cantrips :D

I saw Yulin had possibly a familiar, I didn't see Amalia had one.
