Allura gets herself a nice clean new red cloak.

Solgran placed the top of his sword against the neck of one of the sleeping red cloaks before using his strength and weight to force it through. "If there's reason to bind one and question him, the other will do. If not, I will put an end to him as well."

Snoric left the others to deal with the redcloaks.  Instead he went back to his scouting.  He focused on the south end of the room and the door beyond.

Snoric begins looking around while Solgren executes one of the sleeping men, and the others start to search the room.  The table held a bit of coin that the bandits were obviously betting with, and when totalled had 75 cp, 55 sp, 22 ep, 15 gp, and a gold earring set with a tiny ruby.

The men themselves had no weapons or valuables on them.

Snoric opened the door to the south after determining it clear and found a passage fifteen feet long. He snuck up and his suspicions confirmed, the turn returned them to the room with the chasm, with a door opposite him, opened.  The door held a room that was empty other than the corpse of a goblin

Finish scouting the southern rooms, Snoric briefly returns to the others and lets them know that direction is clear.  Without waiting, he moved back to the northern door and listened carefully.  Even though he'd listened previously, he was taking no chances.  He waited there while the others regrouped.

"Just north then correct ? Let's see what's there."

Sets out to head that way.

Yana gathered up the money and jewelry,  if no one uad already,  and joined the others

Solgran killed the other red cloak since no one had bothered to speak up about questioning, then went to the northern door. Not waiting for anyone to listen, he simply opened it enough to make it move and then kicked it in for good measure, rushing in with sword at the ready. If there was a red cloak or one of their allies, he would see that they tasted steel. If there was another door and no targets, he wasted no time there either, pushing through the next door.

Naturally, he made sure his allies were safe and no little people would go flying as a result of his actions.

Amalia had some misgiving when Solgran killed the two helpless men, but she rationalized it by telling herself that they would do the same thing to them, without even hesitating. Hoping to be right, she nonetheless asked forgiveness to Selune for being a passive watcher to what amounted to murder.

As Solgran kicked the other door, she followed him, hand on her holy symbol.

Malice gave no pause when Solgran killed the two sleeping red cloaks and keeping her weapon drawn, moved back into the hall, waiting for the lead members of the group to enter the northern room.

Solgran’s brutal dispatch of their captives only got a half-hearted shrug from Meridian. “I’ll shed no tears for them. The louts and their fellow cutthroats bragged incessantly about their intentions for the girl and me.” Before they left, she searched the area for the slightest chance of locating her missing gear. Meridian smiled when Yana found the jewels. “Ah, how that would glitter fetchingly on you!”

As she finished her search, Meridian tried to steal a quick moment to poll the group. “I realize that we only just met, but…I possess the means to communicate so our enemies cannot hear.” She looked at the group as she awaited any possible interest. “It will only work with one of you, though.”

Amalia finished her prayer of forgiveness with Selune and looked at the woman they had rescued, smiling.

I know that mean, even if I can't cast it. It is useful, and Osmon uses it very well. Oh, where are my manners, we haven't been introduced, but with all this excitement, its forgivable. I am Amalia, cleric of Selune.

Snoric listens at the door, with Solgran standing restlessly behind him.  The gnome nodded and within seconds of him standing up, he stepped back as the warrior stepped forward, slamming his foot into the door and flinging it open.

Within is a room set up as what looks like a barracks, with several bunk beds, all empty. To the east is a door that is open. The next room looked to be a little smaller with several beds, all with chests at the base of the three cots.

One of the beds held a desk near it with writing material, ink and a small setup for what looked like alchemy. A lone rat sat up when it saw you and scurried away off the desk and into a small mouse hole to the east. The other two beds had nothing of note.

Solgren wasted no time on the chest and alchemy bits, he moved through the eastern door in search of more redcloaks in need of drawing their last breaths.

First he looked/listened for redcloaks.

Snoric eyes the alchemy setup briefly.  He had been wanting one of those for a while but couldn't afford it.  Still, he left it for now and didn't bother investigating the tables and chests, others would do that.  Instead he focused on the walls and floors for hidden doors and traps.  He started in the small side room and then worked his way back out to the main room.

If he finds nothing of interest, he moves over to examine the alchemy set, specifically its quality, portability and available reagents.

Snoric examined his find in the small side room carefully.  "Secret passage here guys.  It's trapped.  Be ready." he calls back into the other room where the rest of the group where.  Pulling out his thieves tools, the gnome gets to work.

Finding a small.box hidden behind a secret panel on a bed, Yana placed it on the bed, then was ready to dodge any traps that went off.

Amalia saw the rat scurrying and acted just as it entered the hole. The squeal of the rat could be heard but it being out of sight you didn't know if it died or not. The group set abut searching the place. the main barracks held nothing more than some spare common clothes and some personalized trinkets of no use.

The second room was where the more interesting things were.

Snoric immediately recognized a travel alchemy kit, something he was very happy about. he also found notes on the desk of several things, including arcane workings of general nature. Tucked under the desk in a hidden holster, he found a book, and when opened it, recognized the formulae for magical spells.

Likewise, Yana found a hidden niche under one of the plain beds, holding a small chest, about the size of a watermelon. the chest itself, though small, was well made and trapped with a fine needle. Yana, though still effected after the ghost, had found her strength back in her hands and easily disarmed the lock and trap, opening it, found a red gem, a silver and rose gold ring and a pouch with some coin.

The third bed had nothing of value, but had some ominous divots in the floor from something heavy beside it.

Snoric st about searching the rest of the room, and found another secret door, this one trapped. He took out his tools, Yana watching over his shoulder at his equally skilled work. In no time, he had disarmed the lock and trap, holding the poisoned needle from the trap.

Behind the door, set of stairs led down, the walls lined with flameless torches of light. The steps led down 20 feet and twisted left out of sight. Even the people less trained could see the dust on the steps had been disturbed by footprints.

Solgran went down the stairs. If he found danger, surely he could call for help. If not, the others could happily continue their looting while Solgran saw to it that all threats had been removed.

Unsatisfied with her attack on the rat, Amalia would not leave Solgran in potential danger so she followed him down the stairs.

"C'mon sis we can divide that later seems there is another layer to this whole mess."  Follows the others down the stairs.

Loading up the contents of the box, Yana sighed in annoyance
"So much for staying together. "
As soon as she had things in a sack, she jogged after the barbarian
