"Intergang?" said Levi.  "Sure, but that's not very specific.  There are sub-groups.  They must have been pretty well-informed about your security, too..."

"The security was light at the warehouse," the woman said. "Not many would dare to steal from Lexcorp."

The other woman, who was blonde and about the same height as her partner wandered over as well.

"But you've had another security breach recently," said Levi.  "I'm not going to tell you how to run your business, but... I hope that nothing was taken that is irreplaceable, and that no one was hurt."

"Three guards have been hurt and are recovering at Metropolis General," the woman said.

"C'mon, Hope, we're done here," the other woman said as your phone relayed that you got a text message.

Levi shook her head sadly and checked her phone.  It was all too likely that what was stolen could be dangerous-- that would be par for the course for Intergang.

It was a text from Wonder Woman:

"Sorry for bothering you, I do not use this device very often. I am sending you this message to let you know that there are rumours that Luthor was in talks with the Bana. They are a renegade group of Amazons."

I'd heard something about that, Levi sent.  There was a theft of Lexcorp property.  It's possible that it was staged.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure what I can do about the Bana, unless you can set up a meeting or something, until they attack.

"We have been keeping an eye on them and they don't seem to be preparing for an attack. I'm not sure what else Luthor would be after."

It might be a lot of things.  I suppose we'll have to wait and see, if they aren't doing anything obvious.

Have you noticed anything?

He's got several female associates who are tall enough that they are probably Amazons.  I'm not sure what he's otherwise up to; it's possible the robbery was staged, but I'm not sure that he'd allow the blow to his ego to allow himself to be stolen from, even as a ploy.

I am not sure I can help with that. I am sorry, I thought I should give you a warning about this.

Oh, I appreciate it!  And sooner or later, I'm going to get into an open fight with Lex.  It's good to know that he has Amazons working for him.  Thank you for the warning!

Levi stuck around to talk to the police and make sure no one else was hurt; she kept her ears open for any hints about what had been stolen.

There was a couple of security guards hurt as the women had said. They had already been taken away and in fair condition.

As for what was stolen, it was several high end microchips and other electronic parts.

...or that's what Lexcorp was admitting to, at least.  But it could be true, and left things open as to what they might want with such things.  It could be a very wide array indeed.

But there wasn't more to be done here.  She flew off...

There are some very very tall women working for him.  He's been secretly negotiating with the Bana, who are a renegade sect of Amazons.  Probably legal, but I'd call it interesting.

He's either looking for some people to handle you or else he's scared for his personal safety...which would be something.

You might find an interesting story there, anyway.  Just be careful when you dig!

Levi wasn't entirely sure about that, but there wasn't much more to do now.  She went on to patrol a bit more of the city before she went back to the lab.

The city seemed to be otherwise quiet...
