After an hour or so of flight, the invisible get starts angling down, headed for a small island chair off the coast of Greece. As it descends, you can see several buildings on it built like ancient Greek buildings of white marble. There was a dirt runway strip near the coast, where Diana landed the plane.

"Is there any special protocol for disembarking?" Levi asked.  "I don't want to break any local rules..."

"No, since you aren't male," Diana said.

"Okay," said Levi.  She shouldered her bag and disembarked onto the legendary island!

As you head forward you see some teenage girls practicing wrestling as an older amazon looks on.

Levi stopped to take a look at their techniques.  It was an interesting sight!

One of the girls was trying to use brute strength, but the other was clever and used the first's own momentum against her to bring her down. The older amazon laughed, separated the two and had them ready again.

"Oh, that was clever of her!" said Levi.  "So do you all train in that kind of fighting?"

"Yes, it is an important part of being an amazon," Diana said. "Making sure dangerous monsters don't escape into Man's World."

"Oh, do you have a lot of those here?" Levi asked, surprised.  "There are still plenty of them away from the island..."

"There are gateways to several realms here," Diana said. "Occasionally they seem to let out their denizens."

"Well, I can see why that makes you strong," said Levi.  "...the big monsters in the ocean mostly spend their time sleeping, which is just as well.  It wouldn't take long for them to outstrip their food supply if they were active all the time."

"Well, if you or Arthur ever need a hand with them," Diana said. "We'd be ready."

"Thank you," said Levi.  "...so far, I'm trying to discourage them from fighting, figuring out how to keep them asleep longer, that kind of thing.  It's risky, but the potential for collateral damage is much higher than most people realize in a sea battle."

"Understandable, peaceful solutions should always be preferred," Diana said.

"Yes," said Levi.  "Especially with the potential scale of the damage involved."

"I agree," Diana said.

"So what's interesting to see here?" Levi asked.  "I'm certainly going to trust your judgment."

"We do have one of the oldest libraries in existence and the oldest still active," Diana said. "There is our amphitheatre and temples as well."

"Oh!" said Levi.  "It's wonderful!  I want to see it all!  ...Where should we start?"

"It's your choice. You are the guest after all," Diana said.

"Why don't we try a temple?" asked Levi.  "I don't normally deal with that kind of thing, so I'm very curious."

"Very well," Diana said and led you to a large building made out of flawless white marble. Impressive statues of what must be various goddess stood around the building.

Levi looked around, admiring the architecture.  She wasn't really familiar with this kind of religious display, but it was certainly impressive!  She vaguely wondered if the Amazons had some kind of priesthood... it seemed less necessary for them.

"Impressive, isn't it?" Diana asked.

"It really is!" said Levi.  "So, I know that Amazons are close to their goddess... do you see signs from her often?"

She was a bit vague on the exact theology, but it was something like that, wasn't it?

"If one knows where to look," Diana said. "It helps that I have met them."

"...is that 'Them' plural, or gender-neutral?" Levi asked.  It might be either one.  Mythology was not her strong suit.

"Mostly plural, there are a couple who are gender-neutral," Diana said. "I also meant the Greek ones."

"That must be an amazing experience," said Levi.  "I have things that I could compare it to, but they probably aren't the same at all."

"I suppose it's easier to believe in them when you can meet them," Diana said.

"Oh, I don't doubt that they exist," said Levi.  "They're too well-documented!  But I've never met them; I don't know how meeting them actually compares to meeting some of the Deep Sleepers in the Abyss."

"Are those the giant sea monsters you mentioned before?" Diana asked.

"Yes," said Levi.  "Um, some of them are big.  Too big.  If they wake up and start moving around, it doesn't really matter what they actually do..."

"Could they not banish them?" Diana asked.

"As in send them to some other world?" said Levi.  "Well, maybe, but the really big ones are, uh, kind of hard to move or to affect with much of anything.  And, well, if they just vanished, they're so big that that would also do things with waves and sea levels and stuff.  The really big Jormund-class creatures have whole ecologies living on them..."

"Couldn't Arthur control them?" Diana asked.

"I hope so," said Levi.  "I really do."

"I'm sure he could. Arthur has shown some extreme powers in the past," Diana said.

"That's good," said Levi.  "We do need some great powers, now and then."

"You are already rather impressive, power wise," Diana said.

"I don't know about that," said Levi.  "I'm strong, but there isn't really anything that I can do that the rest of you can't, and most of you are better at things that I can do by a lot.  I'm just glad that I can help out a little bit."

"You do more than just help out a bit," Diana said. "You are easily the most powerful one of us."

Levi blinked in surprise.

"No, I'm really not," she said.  "I don't think I'm stronger than you-- maybe a pinch?-- and you're a much better fighter.  Art swims faster and can actually control sea life, and the others have all kinds of amazing powers.  I'm just able to help out a little bit here and there."

"Then I suppose training would be in order," Diana said.

"That's a good idea," said Levi.  "This is a good place for it, too."

"How would you care to do it?" Diana asked.

"Well, you've got all kinds of training techniques here, don't you?" Levi asked.  "Why don't we try one of your traditional ones?"

"Very well. We'll do some wrestling practise then," Diana said.

"All right," said Levi.  "I'm certainly up for that-- I'm a decent grappler.  What's the procedure here?"

"We do have some areas for it," Diana said, leading to one of them.

Levi followed her.

Diana leads you to a small arena, where the girls from before were in the seats, ready to watch.

"So what's your way?" Levi asked.  "How do you hold bouts?"

"Pretty traditional style. Greek style I mean. Though I'm sure it's fine if we do this clothed," Diana said with a wink.

"That might be more comfortable," said Levi, thoughtfully.  "Well, why don't we try, then?"

Diana comes in fast and low, but you manage to move out of the way.

Levi counterattacked!  This was wrestling, so she restrained herself to a friendly hold instead of the fierce attacks that were her forte.

All-Out Grapple 5.  And I got a 17...

You manage to get your arms around Diana, but she slips out and goes for your arms, but you roll out of the way.

Levi went for a full nelson, and with much more success!

30!  And that's Improved Hold and everything.

You manage to get a good hold on Diana, she struggles against your grip, but you seem to have her.

"Ready to give?" said Levi, applying pressure, but not too much.  Still, Diana could take a lot, she knew...

"You seem to have me," Diana said, with one last struggle.

You kept Diana pinned.

"It seems you have me."

"This time, at least," said Levi.  "I'm quite sure that you're stronger than me.  But I got a good hold."

"It was fun," Dianna said. "You're pretty talented."

"Well, I guess that's accurate," said Levi.  "I really fight more by instinct than by actual skill and training the way that you do."

"That can be changed. Natural talent can help with training," Diana said. "Don't be down about it."

"Well, I guess I'll get better with practice," said Levi.  "I've just got a long way to go for now.  I don't want to let everyone down."

Diana grinned.

"I'm sure everyone feels exactly as you do. It is to be expected."

"Well, maybe," said Levi.  "Anyway, what else is interesting to do here?  This all has been great, but I want to see it all!"

"There's the great library, the theatre, other sports, the culinary school run by my Minotaur fried," Diana said.

"I wouldn't mind breaking for lunch," Levi said.  "That wrestling match was a real workout!"

"Perhaps we should see my friend after all then," Diana said.

"Why not?" said Levi.  "Let's go!"

Diana leads you to surprisingly modern looking building. Inside were several large kitchens that were currently empty save a large man-bull in a chef's outfit.

"Ah, Diana, nice to see you," he said. "And you've brought a friend."

"Hi!" said Levi.  "I'm Leviathan McNaught.  Pleased to meet you."

"A pleasure to meet you. My name is Ferdinand," the minotaur said.
