Hello and welcome to Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem! So for those of you that clicked because of one of these names, you might not know much about the other, so I will explain them here:

*What is Shin Megami Tensei?*
Shin Megami Tensei (also known as SMT or Megaten) is a game series created by the video game company Atlus. Initially developed for the Super Nintendo, it was not initially seen for quite some time before it reached western audiences. A majority of the stories in SMT revolve around the alignments of just about everyone you meet, testing your personal alignment along the way. Whether you stand with your friends or seek your own path is up to you. Shin Megami Tensei revolves around negotiations with demons and making them your allies, because you’ll need all the help you can get.

*What is Fire Emblem?*
Fire Emblem is a series created by Nintendo in 1990 for the Famicom Disc System. Like SMT, it was quite some time until it reached the hands of western audiences. The series follows the storied legacy of the Hero King, Marth, and his lineage’s centennial curse, Dragons aligned with evil. Fire Emblem is a strategy roleplaying game, playing similarly to chess and shogi.

Now that you have the basic rundown, the next post will help with character creation.

For character creation, follow these steps:

Step 1: SMT or Fire Emblem?
This will affect how your character will function, with either demon-based gameplay or blade-and-magic gameplay.

Step 2: What species is the character
This will also affect how your character functions; for example, being Jack Frost would make you unable to use fire-based skills, and only races like manaketes and taguel can use stones to transform.

Step 3: What does your character do?
This one is fairly straightforward. What kinds of weapons do you use, and if you use magic, what kind?

Step 4: Character Description
I need a physical description of your character as well as their personality.

Step 5: Name
If you are on the SMT side and use a demon as your species, then you can use the species name as your name, or you can make a name for them.

I will decide if your character is alright to use. Once I have enough players, the roleplay will begin!
