No. He does not assist with Move Forward. I mean he does, but he's not good at Insightful, so there's no special extra bonus.

Move Forward is 2d6.

I made the roll using 3 this time  before clarification but it was a 5 first then a 1 and 1 so 5 was the best of 2 or 3 dice.

Ok a quick question which doesn't really matter now but might shortly so wanted clarification on it.

So  with Major magicical or hirelings the effects is a +1 die until a failure is rolled. What is considered a failure a 1 or a 1 and 2 etc.

I see what you're asking-- failure would be when no die in a relevant roll comes up higher than 3.

Does that make sense? If not, I can explain it more, maybe with an example...

Nope it is clear, thanks will help for when we make a return to town rolls. Allows me to see what I want to do with my loot buy or trade etc.

We are making a good team and all of these 6's aren't hurting either.

So on your move forward 6 do you like a clue for a +1 bonus or loot. I personally prefer the loot might just get us something good.

I don't know what the clue is for so Loot is fine by me.

If the clue helped us with the overall mission the threat we were sent to deal with then I would be interested but at this stage loot is probably good.

Ok now please explain how harm and trauma work, this way I can better understand what I will be risking.

I think I want to get that cage, or have Evan get it. We can always try a make camp to get rid of the harm. Just want to have a better understanding before saying what we do for sure.

The group begins with 6 HP.

If the group takes HARM, the group loses HP (and gets HARM).

If the group loses all its HP, down to zero, one character dies! (The GM will decide randomly). Time to make a new character (of a different class)...! (If a new character replaces an old character, the party's HARM is reduced (and therefore the HP is increased) by an amount that the GM feels is appropriate relative to how many characters are in the party, but at least by 1.)




TRAUMA: When a character has TRAUMA, it means one of their Stats is deactivated (the GM will tell you which). It can't be used again to help rolls until the Trauma is removed by being successfully Consoled.

IN OTHER NEWS

I want to introduce a new section of rules. I know I'm the GM and can do what I want but I thought I'd run it by you first for input


MINIBOSSES: Like regular combat encounters but it takes two hits with Get Violent to take them out. They also do 2 Harm at a time. (No more than 3 Minibosses per dungeon.)

FINAL BOSSES: No more than one Final Boss per dungeon. Like regular combat encounters but it takes three hits with Get Violent to take them out. They also do 2 Harm at a time.

Generally no... but you have given me an idea.

Keep adventuring and you may well find a major item like that one day...

I agree, I like the idea but we need to be able to possibly do independent get violent rolls then. We would suffer the affect individually, which could be interesting all by itself.

For those fights only we are allowed the split get violent. In a sense giving us 12 hp if full, but also having the potential of losing 4 hp a round if we both roll bad.

Hmm... Yeah, I guess that could work... but... maybe HP shouldn't just be for the whole party in general anyway? Maybe you just each need 3 all the time...?

I think maybe we need independent PC HP all the time... anyone disagree...?
