Myra:
As the pit opened, Myra's reflexes react automatically, and she grabs hold of the nearest person's hand as she kicks off the edge of the pit.
"Ride the wall down!" she yells, and pushes whoever she grabbed toward the nearest wall as she aims herself at the wall on the far side.
OOC: Fellowship, Lore(Traps), Attribute(Agile), and Magic(Lucky): 2 hits
12:16, Today: Myra rolled 17 using 4d6 ((6,2,5,4)).
After the first 20 or 30 feet, the pit walls start to angle, turning into a steep slide. Myra's quick thinking and commands help everyone manage to come to a stop just before they crash into stone spikes.
Of course, the spikes have also been broken off, so no one would have actually gotten impaled, but it would have really hurt.
You're now pretty deep under the city... two torches on the walls show that this is... it looks a bit like an empty wine cellar, actually. Most of the shelves are in splinters, but one is intact... there are no intact bottles, but yeah, this was for holding wine bottles, or things like them (holy water? Nah, probably wine.) Maybe it was for something else before that (torture chamber? other?), but at some point this was a wine cellar.
There are two doors out of this area-- one north, one south...
