Re: DUNGEON 1: THE DERELICT SHIP GRAVEYARD

Downnytouch waited and tried to help as much as he could with the camp.
Once they made camp he went over to Renee.  Looked at her wounds and tries to use his healing skills to help her.  Using encouraging words and actions.

We have a good camp in-spite of this place being so hard on everybody.  You have done very well Renee.  We will all be able to rest and get better thanks to you.
He also gets Evan to sit down and look him over.  Something was not right with the human in battle.  His will seem to disappear and the cleric was worried about him as well.  He uses his clerical magic abilities to see if Evan needs healing as well.

OOC:
20:03, Today: Downytouch Lightbreeze rolled 11 using 2d6 with rolls of 5,6.  Heal / Console + CHARMING.

(Downytouch, you will successfully console Evan, and his Forceful shall be restored.

I encourage y'all to write out roleplaying that, but if you don't both want to, I accept that too.)

Re: DUNGEON 1: THE DERELICT SHIP GRAVEYARD

Renee shrugged off Downey's words.  "I know my strengths, and I know my limits.  I was literally playing with fire, and got burned.  It's happened before, it'll happen again, and eventually I'll master it."

Her eyes drifted over to the dragonflies.  "Anybody else want roast dragonfly?"

"Yuck not me." Evan chuckled looking at the burnt bugs.

"Should have known they would be here from the wing I found didn't think there would be so many or that they breathed fire."

Evan looks to Downy and thanks him, "Thanks, I feel better. Keeps happening where I seem to lose my spirit, it is strange I will have to pay more attention to it. Didn't realize it was so bad."

"Don't knock it until you've tried it, insects can be delicious," Renee faux-scolded, heading over to the cooked bugs and cracking them apart like lobsters.

Re: DUNGEON 1: THE DERELICT SHIP GRAVEYARD

After a rest, with time to eat (the dragonflies were unexpectedly spicy but still delicious) and bandage Downytouch's wounds (her own were none too severe, and blithely ignored in favor of food), Renee rose to her feet and pointed toward the door.  "Everyone ready for more trouble?" she asked, but didn't bother gather her party before venturing forth.

17:42, Today: Renee rolled 5,6 using 1d6,1d6 with rolls of 5,6.  Move Forward.

Choice: · There is something valuable here! (It might be hard to get ahold of it, though...)

This is another one of those holds where there's a hole in the bottom of the ship. This one, though, unlike the last one, looks like someone has purposely enlarged it.

Standing near the large hole, holding an ivory wand, is an elf with lavender-colored skin. He's got the wand raised, but it seems like it's a defensive posture only, for now. "I heard the fight with the insects upstairs... are you friends? or foes? Speak!" the elf asks.

"Whew. All right." The elf puts his wand down. "My signs and signals should have been invisible to enemies, but you can never know about things like that for sure, especially in a place like this. So anyway... I've got stuff that might help you... but not for free. Interested in hearing about what I've got to offer?"

"I've got a healing pill... You just pop it into your mouth if you get hurt in a long battle and bite down hard on it. I've also got a powder that'll dispel magic... but it depends on what kind of magic it is, I'm afraid it works much better with some magic than with others..."

"As for what I want, any kind of valuable treasure should do. My people use them to trade with others for things we need. So, I help you, you help us... win-win, right?"

(--The Healing Pill is a Minor Item, so it's worth 2 Loot.

--The Dispel Magic powder is a major item, so it's worth 4 Loot.)

"No no, this is the only above-surface area here that I'll go to, now. It didn't used to be as bad, before, as it is now. But... there's an evil presence, here, and it's making everything worse and worse..."

"Yes... Are... you... not familiar with sea elves? We're, ah, amphibious. Actually do better underwater, really..."

Renee:

"None, save that it is supernatural in origin. Magic, or something else, or a combination of magic and something else... I really don't know..."

"That would be fascinating if there was, and certainly show strong magic was at play. So the number of your tails indicates your age ?" Evan looks at Renee curiously.

He then looks back to the sea elf, "Thank you for your help, we will try to find and deal with the great evil here so hopefully it doesn't effect your people below the waves over time."

Downytouch looks across at Renee.

That a lot of years.  You must have seen a loads of thing, talked to loads of people and learn a lot of interesting things.  I would love to hear about them when we next camp.  If you don't mind?

This was asked with a very naive innocent charm.  The owl was clearly not being rude in any way.

Re: DUNGEON 1: THE DERELICT SHIP GRAVEYARD

"No, we're born with one tail, and earn more by proving ourselves - it can be acts of greatness, obtaining wisdom, improving our skills, gaining power...lots of ways, but they all take time.  I earned my second by learning to shapeshift so young - it's more usual to take about a century to develop the power and control needed."

The paused, doing a little mental math.  "We're a bit like elves - a short childhood, long adolescence, and then remaining in our primes until death or ascension.  Socially I'd be...I think sixteen as a human, and something like eighty as an elf?"

OOC: Move forward or continue the RP scene?  I'm fine with either.
