The Eternal Realm, Home of The Gods

AO speaks and from his mouth, a realm appears, The Eternal Realm, wherein the new gods and goddesses slumbered until the time of Awakening!

The Eternal Realm, Home of The Gods

The first to emerge appeared to be a large block of multicolored clay, and yet it spoke! "I am Perenna, embodiment of everlasting change." To demonstrate this concept, she molded herself, similarly to how one would mold clay, into the shape of lion. "I look forward to painting on the canvas laid before us."

The Eternal Realm, Home of The Gods

Stirring from his deep slumber, Bjornrogn roused slowly.  Shaking his massive head as though to clear the foggyness from him.  He rises to his feet, his massive form towering over the others, at least twice as vast as they.  His great ursine head turning to regard the one of shifting clay, he snuffles, the exhales deeply.  "I am Bjornrogn."  He states in a deep, slow voice.  As though considering his words even as he speaks them.  His brown eyes deep, and discerning as he looks upon them.  His mottled black and tawny fur shaggy on his powerful form.

The Eternal Realm, Home of The Gods

A shapeless, formless, colorless swirl of two energetic motes appeared; they are only perceptible as being a godly thing by other gods.

"We are grateful to be here." The formless pair spoke in a soundless voice that vibrated in unison. "You know who we are."

Perenna then molded herself into this form and welcomed her siblings. "Greetings, siblings, I believe the time for change will come soon. Emptiness is just so... tedious."

OOC: The image is WAY bigger than I intended it to be.

A Die rolled onto a table and shifted itself into a man

"My, My The Game of Life will begin soon. Fellow Gods, Anyone want to make a bet?"

In reply to Cungto (msg # 6):

Molding herself into the image of a floating sword, Perenna asked, "Ah, but what have we to wager?"

The Eternal Realm, Home of The Gods

A pile of coins of indeterminate origin or value along with scripts of illegible type swirl into the form of a pyramid of green, a large unblinking eye observing its surroundings.

"There is only one thing we have, and indeed one thing we can hold to intrinsic value... Power."

The form considers for a moment. "Well, that and an Identity are all we can truly be said to possess, I suppose."

"Quite Right, thats the Hook of it, Pluctocrus. Power, and there's always the possibility we could gamble some of our power, either via favors, or by a simple gifting of it. Of Course a bet doesn't need a wager, but where's the fun in that?" The Die of the man, replied.

"Hmmm.....". The massive, bear-like entity rumbles.  "It could be said that we are Power.". He says, his deep voice heavy and slow.  His deep eye full of thought, as he observes the other Dieties and the void around them.

"What then would be the contest you are proposing?" Insofar as a faceless entity could, the pyramid seemed to be affecting interest.

"As the formation of the future will be at our hands, individually or collectively, I could see such wagers being respective of such Power. A debt of cooperation or opposition even if one would otherwise lean a different way, as it were," Durehan voices from the shadows about his being.

"There are two positions we gain at the end of Every Aeon, The Alpha and Omega. Why dont we try to bet on who will become the Omega? He humbly suggests. A far trickier position to aim for then Alpha would be for the fellow gods.

Re: The Eternal Realm, Home of The Gods

Adopting the form of a little girl with short blonde pigtails, small blue eyes, fair skin, and a cute blue dress, Perenna chimed, "Based on first impressions? Possibly our brother Bjornogn. I myself do not expect to rank highly." she said this in hopes of easing any offense her ursine brother may take to that.

"While, I would not at this point bet on who will be the Omega, I WOULD be willing to bet against some getting it." The pyramid nods daintily. "I will be willing to bet I do not achieve such a position.."

It would be interesting to see how the others interpreted that, and whether Cungto would be willing to arrange everyone else in such a way that Plutocrus WOULD be the Omega.

In reply to Plutocrus (msg # 16):
The Die laughed, heartily and Happily wealth sought no risk in his ventures. That sounded great, but even Cungto was cognizant enough it was idiotic to do so.
"Ah a Suckers Bet. Hoping to gain something with no risk to yourself? Now that's exactly what I should expect from you." Yeah there was no Way any one would be able to go for that bet.

In reply to Bjornrogn (msg # 10):

"Ah, the Bear. You have done the most impressive thing, to me. More than all the other's actions, which are all nonetheless quite impressive."

"Tell me, why did you decide to create magic so raw?"

an eyebrow raised over Putocrus's one eye and then waggled in amusement. "Not NO Risk. Though, I would have found it very amusing if you had tried to manipulate everyone into working together to make me lose that bet."

He pondered for a moment. "If it's a question of odds, 8 of us appear to have manifested here for the discussions, and those 2 act as one." He gestured at Humilis and Pax.  "Therefore would 5 to one odds tempt you more? Or would you hold out for no house edge?"
