The First Age: Acts of the Old World

The Archmage of the Gods takes note of the Elemental Water that poured on the world down below his own thunderstorms. Water fell, slowly creating small lakes and rivers across time. Thackus however, did not like how slowly this occurred. The god would admire the creation of the elements. However, Thackus would, thanks to having a word with the great deity Perenna, replicate her actions, conjuring more enchanted rainfall over the world down below's surface.
The Archmage would then start rapid hand motions in the air, beckoning the universe to bend to his will, he then spoke a single syllabled magical word. A single lightning flash struck the world down below without so much as scarring the wet, rain-laden soil. However, then what followed was another gushing of water much like Perenna's.

ACT: Thackus asks Perenna to assist in creating Elemental Water by following her action conjuring magical rain to pour over the world down below.

The ACT of Thackus takes shape as clouds began to thunder into existence, culminating in his final word.

Water's fell from the skies at first in a light sprinkling mist, then in a mirror of Perenna's ACT waters fell upon the newly green world of Lerret in a Great Deluge. The lakes and rivers quickly began to rising depth, filling in some of the depressions of the world, and the lowlands and crevices quickly filled. In some places where there had been the odd magma flow or newly sprouting volcano, great geysers steamrolled skyward. Soon waters began to connect and grow into larger bodies until a great equatorial ocean had taken shape dividing the lands of the northern hemisphere and the southern. For now, they were completely cut off from one another, except at the levels of the simple wind currents.

In the process, several entire forests had become submerged, but overall life had quickly adjusted to the new change and the myriad tiny lifeforms that now had an entirely new ecosystem to develop into. Another consequence was a sharp increase in the humidity of the entire Aerosphere, which prompted further rains upon the other worlds...

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Bjornrogn considered the ACTs of the other Dieties.  Long on thoughts the bear-like bipadel God came to a conclusion.  Rising to his full, titanic height, he grabs Lerret, it's moons, and its' sun between his powerful paws.  Squeezing them together, they multiply a countless number of times.  The power churning between his paws, til at last he flings them outwards to sail all across the void, and fill areas with planets, stats and moons.  Their numbers, size, and color varying unpredictably, but more than half of them would retain life which would grow and prosper.  Lerret itself, the original, with their moons and star slammed back into place where it had been since their original placement.  Lerret too would be the only planet to have The Chessboard.

ACT: Bjornrogn creates Space.

Filling the void with universes, galaxies, etc..

With a great thrashing of power, AO watched gravely as a wave emanates outward from the Prime System of the Sunstar, Lerret, and the Nine moons. His WRATH slowly unleashed upon this Void as it chased Bjornrogn's ACT...

...In its wake new sunstars emerged followed shortly by new versions of Lerret and its moons that circled each in a reflection of the Prime System.

Each was a pale reflection however and none held the splendor of the Prime System as of yet, each was a simplified version being literally composed of the ACTs of many of Bjornrogn's kin. Thus they were imperfect by comparison and many variations seemed to occur. It seemed that the planets each held a faux version of life, that upon closer inspection could be seen to be vestigial extrusions of the moons and worlds themselves, a mere simulation of life if such a thing were possible. It was much more likely that these planets and moons were alive themselves on some simplistic level. For now, their true nature seemed to be developing and still growing. Still, even in this aspect, there was variation and a choice of an infinite number of different worlds now, each slightly different.

The closest of these strange new systems lay double the distance from Lerret as Lerret was to the Gateway to the Unknown, and located with this celestial structure between them. While the last one, located in an adjacent bubbleverse, had a version of Lerret that was composed entirely of amoeba working together, along with only the raw materials of water and a whispy copy of the Aerosphere. It appeared that the amoeba had engulfed the moons of the system.

The edicts of Gravity and all the other laws that the Deities had set forth quickly took hold, and each new world quickly fell into an orbital rhythm around it's parent star. Each star, nebula and new system also achieved a critical mass to enable them to begin spinning in the Void as collections of stars. Some formed spirals, spherical, and others torus shaped.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

As the world took on the richness of life, planet life at least, the variety of living creatures continued along with the smaller domain. Microscopic beings of single and multiple cells began to thrive and grow. But it was time for greater growth, one that could greatly benefit from the increased water that now flowed over the world. And also help the future development of the world as a whole. So within the waters of the world, Durehan focused his power to guide the evolution of those lesser entities. From some of them, he drew a greater collection, shaping their development and in turn making them larger. The first fish to populate the oceans. They could feed on the lesser plants and organisms within the waters to grow. They in turn could expand from the forces of mutation and evolve into larger and varied forms - in time at least. But these new forms would give even the other gods a template to work with to draw out even greater creatures.

ACT: Durehan creates the first small fish to populate the oceans and evolves rapidly over a short time to give diversity, feeding on plant life and small organisms in the waters.

Of the first generation of vertebrates to be drawn out of the simple multicellular creatures by Durehan's ACT, there was the fish. The first of which started very small, no more than a few of those single cells wide. They possessed fins and a mouth, simple sensory organs to understand the space surrounding them, and a tiny brain to understand how to navigate and avoid things that were potentially harmful. They quickly rose to the top of the food chain as they began to grow and diverge. For now, however, they remained small, but it seemed every possibility in their forms would be tried and tested for longevity, as the creatures randomly mutated novel new ideas of adaptability. Some grew teeth to eat one another, the fast way of gaining nutrition it seemed. The other adapted rows of flat crushing and beaked incisor teeth for gnawing through seawood shoots and ocean grasses. Most of the new fish creatures learned to siphon off of slimes and sea blooms with long proboscises. Some further few found a new kind of energy to utilize, the powerstones that littered the seafloor sporadically, these learned to detect such stones and hung close to them for their sustenance as they skulked about the dark ocean floors competing for territory.

Though the fish creatures were not yet large in size they made up for it in their hundred or so offspring each time they gave birth to gelatinous eggs that were generally sprinkled into a safe crevice or hole near their natural environs.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Turning herself into a mortar and pestle, Perenna got to work creating something that could prove useful later on. She sensed that a time would come when one of their creations would be dissatisfied with their memories, and as such, she wanted something to exist to allow them to alter it. To this end, she produced a decent-sized glass bottle and filled it with a pleasant-smelling brown liquid to create her first Item of Power. This liquid would rid its consumer of foul memories. For now, though, she would hold on to it, for it wasn't the time to release such a thing into the Void just yet.

Perenna creates Perenna's Bottle.

Perenna infuses the liquid inside the bottle with the power to change one's memories.

And so on the 4th Day of Creation, Perenna crafts an artifact now known as Perenna's Bottle. Declared an ITEM OF POWER, it would survive any great calamity no matter the scale. NO god could destroy an ITEM OF POWER, nor could they change that which had been wrought. It was ornate polished and glistened as nothing in creation had yet done.

Taking the bottle, she infuses it with her power, pouring her ACT into a liquid, to change one's own memories. Seeing this done, AO nods his respect, for she did not intend to release it yet unto the Void, rather, she held it close so none could take it. Its sweet-smelling aroma wafted through the halls of the Eternal Realm.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Dadacar gazed upon the world of Larret and felt sadness. There were a great many growing things that he and his siblings had brought to life. The trees, the grasses, and even the slimes, would continue to grow endlessly and unstoppably because there was nothing to challenge them. And without challenge, life was meaningless after all.

In the compassionate depths of his fiery being Dadacar could not let such a travesty go on any longer.

Fire swirled in the void and from the pillar of heavenly flame that was Dadacar a great creature emerged. Equal parts fire and hunger, it was composed entirely of white hot flames in the image of a bird. Gliding on invisible tides it made its way toward.

As it entered the the atmosphere it exploded, the great single fire bird breaking down into smaller and smaller pieces until tiny finger-sized tongues of flame reached the surface. These creatures of flame and hunger would seek to consume the green living things, growing larger as they did, until like their spiritual forebearer the original firebird, they would explode into smaller beings and start the cycle again.

ACT: Dadacar creates the embodiment of flame and hunger for the Firebirds to challenge the unabated expansion of green growing things.

The Great Opposer shows himself then on the 4th Day, seeing that which had been wrought. He summons from himself living flames that take the shape of great winged raptors. These hulking creatures swarm towards Lerret and begin to savage many of its great forested regions. A hundred small firebirds zinged through the skies at first, as many unknowingly splashed into the ocean chasing the undersea forests that had adapted. Still many grew larger and larger and when each of the large ones broke they sprouted another hundred or so to cover the losses of each generation and grow the population by a slight margin as well. This destructive force could only continue so long as they were allowed to or they ran out of things to set alight...

Fires raged across the planet, smoke rising into the atmosphere began to darken the skies and cool it slowly as ash began to blot out the sun.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Plutocrus had been looking over his trees, coming up with some new ideas regarding pollenization and some kind of hard-working insect to create food supplies and object lessons about working together. Then a massive divine fire rained from the heavens and exploded into a great many fire birds. It looked like his trees would need protectors as well as nourishers.

Dropping a lithium coin from himself he took it and worked it into the form of little insect roughly an inch long. Even when he gave it life and made it more flesh-like it would retain the high heat resistance of the metal and be able to resist the birds that now threatened his plants.

He made the insect so it could fly, it would normally gather pollen from the trees and other flowering plants and convert them into food. With only a bit of pushing they would greatly exceed the production they needed, thus providing food for the other animals that were to come later. He made them want to work together in a hive. The workers would make the food, and the breeders would make the eggs, but now they also needed soldiers. Soldiers who could protect the hives and the plants from things that would eat them. He crafted them stingers out of their metal bodies and gave them a sort of pheromone-based communication of danger so the hive could know where the threats were and swarm.

The concept of mutation would change them over time, but for now, he had made it as well as he could. He gave his little statue a real body and infused it with life. Then he multiplied them, forming a hive in the thousands. They may start near the first tree, but they would quickly spread outward.

Only one thing remained. They deserved a name. He decided the name Libees seemed appropriate dubbing them so.

ACT: Plutocrus creates a hive of Lithium Bees or Libees and sends them out.

Libees quickly take to the skies surrounding their brood nests, which their shiny little mandibles chewed right into many cliff faces or craggy rocks. They were effective at both nurturing the pollinating plantlife as well as protecting their territories from dangerous creatures. These colonial beings would mean another new genesis of life, this time metal-based. They quickly gain successes as their nests begin to drift outwards from the Northern Continent.

Established to thwart the Firebirds, they excelled in this regard, much as the Firebirds had so easily eviscerated many large forests. For when one of the fiery creatures drew near one of the workers would sound the alarm and the soldier caste would rush to defend the nest and the territory. When the fiery birds drew near many found themselves covered in the small metal insectoids, which sought to stop their advance. Each piercing blow from the tiny metal beings would be like a bullet and each of the tiny metallic jaws sought to inflict as much damage as possible if not kill it outright. Some of the confused firebirds flew off confused, and some of the simple fire creatures simply did not understand and were drawn down into the dirt by the assaults. In time the numbers began to draw downward trending, rather than upwards as before...

Patches of life on both the Northern Continent and the Southern Continent began to find balance once again and as the funguses began to pioneer their way across the burned and blasted landscapes, they paved the way for the larger forest plant life to use the detritus and fertile scenes left behind. The numbers lowered then, the firebirds sometimes left Lerret for a time even to cast their fire upon some of the moons. This seemed to be a safer way for them as they were trapped by air one at a time contained there for it's orbital period and then when they were allowed, they crossed through the Aerosphere into the next. Occasionally the birds would find their way back to Lerret but never in as great a number and they were not unopposed any longer, always small bastions of the Libees were present to defend the forests now.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Pax frowned as she watched Dadacar and Plutocrus work. It was obvious that she disagreed very strongly with what was happening. She said nothing however and only stewed on what the outcomes might be.
Humilis noticed her distress and calmed her with a placating touch.
"The outcome is for Ao to decide." He turned his attention away from Larret and gazed upon creation as a whole. "There is still much work to be done, sister. Life requires diversity to truly thrive, and we are not yet done filling it with the most humble of creatures. Soon, we can begin to add far more... capable things. Leave the bombast to others. Life will find a way, in time. Observe Durehan's works: he has filled the waters with important species. Acts worthy of praise! Let us continue to walk beside him!"

Pax closed her metaphorical eyes and turned away from Larret and the firebirds. Though she was named for peace, she was as much a defender of peace, as she was a proponent of it. Ignoring what had been done would be a challenge for her, especially if her worst fears came true.
"You are right brother. Life must crawl before it can walk, and walk before it can run. Let us see to it."

ACT: Across all places where life exists, Humilis and Pax advance the mutation rates of multicellular organisms, guiding (but not dictating) their forms towards the creation of arthropods.

Across the worlds and moons, some of the tiny organisms had begun to grow first shells and then tiny spindly legs. Some of them were segmented like the worms they arose from. These continued in this fashion for what seemed a long time. The shelled beings began to diverge once again, their tiny legs developing specializations like claws and sticky suckers. Some rose from the waters then, others continued to develop gills and filter-feeding. Of those that rose, the landstrider-crabs were the most successful, as well as the jumpers. Snails and slugs also seemed to supplant the Slimes in their niches, being far more successful. They roamed between the waters and the land at will, able to avoid the predators of both, such as those landstrider-crabs...

Their eyes became the most highly developed in history thus far. They were able to see far beyond other creatures, even fish, from the smallest movements to the fastest ones, their various eye plans grew to their advantage in certain ways, but they certainly loved multiple eyes the most. They also developed complicated nerve centers that resembled the fish brains but were usually simpler and more of them, some of the longer ones having up to five nerve centers along a nerve cord to decentralize the whole process a bit for speed. These creatures diverge into many others, but their shape is that of the common bug. Their antennae the last bit to develop properly. Others learned a form of paragliding with a set of back legs that had been changed into gliding wings and emitting a fluffy by-product to sail upon.

The arthropods were the first beings able to fully support themselves upon the lands aside from the forest guardians - the Libees. For the most part, they leave these dangerous creatures alone. Occasionally a group of landstrider-crabs smells the masses of pollen within the nests and come to attempt a sweet treat, usually, this does not succeed for even with the shell, these crab creatures were not immune to their lithium stingers which even penetrate thick shells. In other ways the tiny paragliders pollinate too, much to the chagrin of the Libees, who generally pay the comparatively little creatures little mind. One of the offshoots of the Libees is the Liants, whom often clash with the shelled arthuropods.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Thackus had done much in the terms of mysticism. The others focused on single-celled organisms. It was this reality that dictated the idea for Thackus to create what could be called "Mitochondrial Magic". For each mitochondrion that developed from now on, they would develop a symbiotic relationship with a magical-scientific force known as "The Source". A select, small percentage of plants, animals or species of sentient mortals created or born from now on would have unusual amounts of specially charged mitochondria from The Source, allowing them to do amazing feats of magic, masquerading as purely scientific processes known as mutations. The real source of the mitochondrial magic is "The Source" which, since it's provided with half-magic, half-scientifically explainable phenomena, can do anything natural within the organism's natural abilities, only increasing exponentially, and occasionally working with purely natural mutations. For example, eels may be able to eventually power entire cities or countries with electricity, and a few animals with exaggerated characteristics of nearly every, if not every species will exist.

Furthermore, it may be possible for some few specimens to perform feats of another nature, such as telepathy, clairvoyance, or telekinesis, for example.

Even people may be born "mutants". To be clear, Mitochondrial Magic depends on "The Source". Present in nearly all types of living cells, mitochondria are vital to a living organism's survival. They generate the energy currency of an organism. To be clear, "The Source" supercharges mitochondria with a mixture of scientifically understandable and arcane power.

ACT: Thackus, creates "The Source", which is a mystical and empowering current, flowing through all living things through their mitochondria.

The Source Blasts into the Universe, finding a seat of power on the southern side of the plane of the ecliptic, opposite the Archive, empowering those lifeforms which had developed the mitochondria. However at this time, it only appeared to be a few bacteria that possessed such a thing, it seemed life had arisen in complexity without them thus far pushed via godly hand, and they had gone largely unnoticed. In fact, currency-based life did not seem to possess cells at all, but rather lumps of elemental wood and grass, except for the Libees which had arisen from an elemental metal. In the case of the firebird, they were composed entirely of coherent flame. Such a cellular lineage would make possible amazing things in time for life. For now few things had anything that could be called such a structure.

OOC: There aren't any mitochondria in life as it is, many have taken completely divergent approaches to creating life and none have specified that this is included. Life could use it if you want to apply mitochondria somehow, some have not specified how their life forms even get food and energy.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Having just created "The Source" absentmindedly, and forgetting to guide life in the world down below, Thackus, god of magic, knowledge, and wisdom had decided, through some afterthought, to do just that. Thackus, with a conjured tree branch, tapped the soil of the world down below, as if with a judge's gavel.
"Hence forth, all life created beyond the single celled organisms, shall, unless guided otherwise by their creators, be infused with mitochondria, and thus, is potentially bonded with The Source."
"This is The Mandate Of The Source."

ACT:The Mandate Of The Source bonds all life beyond single-celled organisms with The Source unless their creators specify otherwise.

Seeking to rectify the issue linking the power of the Source, Thackus blessed all life beyond the single-celled organisms with the gift of mitochondria. Prior to that, many cells had used the very simplest of methods to gain their energy, body plans being as mutable as they were, made some of the tissues to be self-directing in a fashion. Now one in a million beings with the correct mitochondria in a given species would display power beyond that of their mortal ken. Hundreds of such creatures came into being almost immediately. The Currency-based life was granted mitochondria though it was not clear if they had cells, regardless, some of these also developed some interesting traits every few generations. None of the firebirds could be said to have cells, being composed of pure flame, their gift of mitochondria quickly boiled and ignited.

Among the most interesting benefactors of the Source then in the First Age was the Great Serpentfish, a fish that grew to become the length of ten adult mortals, what it could not make up for in size and weight was in its strength, it was never caught. Another was the Nest of the LiMantis colony on the Moon of Ayrmith, which was said to be so fast as to catch firebirds in mid-air and blessed with metallic-lined claws to do so. As was the Great Fir Tree, whose branches swept up over one thousand adult mortals tall, it's wood tougher than stone.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

As Cungto looked around the Infinite Void, he focused on the life around him, for they were to be the ones that would play this Grand Game of Life. Then, he looked upon his most beloved Creation, the Chessboard. The Lucky White King and The Queen protected the King with its glowing Aura. There was promise here. However, so many pieces are left unchecked with their potential. With this in mind, he turned to the weakest and most prevalent of them, The pawns, for life was numerous and held numerous Ideals.

With this in mind, he looked upon his other gods, and he saw which classes they'd be happy to help represent their followers, those that would follow them; even with this, however, he saw that Bjorn and Thackus wished for more than 1 class, and he was happy to oblige. So, though Ayrmith was quiet, Jarrok died and had been reborn into Dadacar, and Ao would not bespeak to the lowly gods besides letting out the Wrath of acts that did too much. Nevertheless, they, too, required representation, and he had plenty of classes to make, so he happily obliged.

For, with the Honored, and the Other God's Classes in Mind, he looked upon the board and saw divisions, where he could make the pieces mean something more. Along with ideas for the positions of the existing Classes.

So, without much further thought, he went into its mechanics. The 16 Classes would be The Wizard, Sorcerer, Sourced From Thackus, Humilis' Monk, Perenna's Shifter, Durehan's Druid, and Dadacar's Priest, Bjorn's Magus and Champion, and Plutocrus' Transmuter. Then, There Were the Honored Gods classes Jarrok's Earthen Defender, Ayrmith's Airsmith, and Ao's Lawbringer. He was glad he could pin an Incredibly lawful Class on Ao as that would really help with the board arrangement for the classes. He knew he was not a lawful diety, even with the way his own acts seemed to be the backbone for information, for some reason. He really needed to question the operations of his other gods. Thanks made magic before the right part was there, and his attempt at a catalog of life was too ambitious. He needed to make sure he didn't turn out like him, even in this act he did here. He wished not to do too much, and he was spending two actions on this single aspect. He hoped that was enough to avoid the Wrath of Ao.

Those were just the classes, not attributed to himself, even if he would help in their Creation. No, the ones he was related to were a mere handful. The Class he would consider his Personal was the Gambler. Though other Pawns needed to be filled in, and Thus a Couple of Other Classes were Born the Dungeon Lord, The Trickster, and The Farmer. Yes, he wasn't ashamed at the Fact he made two luck-focused classes for himself. Tricksters, Tricked, and Gamblers Gambled required Luck, but one was a Street Magician, and the other was a patron of casinos and had violent bouts of uncertainty. They were very different in practice.

As an aside, He was well aware Classes would have name Shortenings even within his own mind. He already did so. For example, earthen Defenders named for the God of the Earth would likely shorten their names to The Defenders. At the same time, The Dungeon Lords would become broader even if their class abilities would reflect the capabilities of a Dungeon Lord.

To portray the Classes on the Chess-board, he couldn't change the pawns themselves, but he could imbue them, much as he did the White King. Separate the class system into 16 parts, so other gods would be able to change one Class without messing with the others.

There were two aspects he utilized in Dividing them Up. First was White and Black. The Classes related to Chaos and well... Evil were White. If a Class was more suited to leaning in that direction, they would be put on the White Side, where The Lucky King would lead the Charge. The Other Side is more aligned to the Game side of his Aspects and Order. He did so because Chess was a game, but two sides, good and evil, existed in everyone. Listening or obeying the orders of another was what truly made man. Lords followed no one and tended to flout the rules they placed on those below them. While Bankers gave the money and would break anyone who signed a contract with them with the letter of the law, using it as the ultimate shield. Neither was more or less evil than the other, but a Lawful man must have someone to be lawful.

The Other Side was who they held on their Back End. The Rooks were the Leaders. The Priests were Heads of Revolutions and potentially Religion, The Lords were heads of Dungeons and Countries if they were lucky, Transmuters were the heads of the Economy, and The Defenders were important heads of Military Affairs. The Knights were related to Animals and life, The Sorcerer was related to Mitochondria and the racial condition and mutations, The Shifters were Shapeshifters, The Druids were associated with the Nature of the Wilds, and the Farmers were about raising life and food production. The Bishops were the Magical Classes, The Wizard, The Magus, The Champion, and the Airsmith. Then there Were the Kings and Queens. The Two Kings were the Trickster and Lawbringer. The Two Queens, The Gambler, and The Monk.

So, With that knowledge in mind. The Board positions for the 16 Classes were,

White RookPriestTransmuterBlack Rook

Now, while that alone was a long and valuable dissertation into the amount of thought, Cungto put into this and the reason he didn't act immediately, the question about the Class assignment was only one aspect. Every Creature had stats, and All Living Creatures would be able to select a class, not just the Sentients.

This was a simple choice for now, and just because it was offered to all didn't mean all had to take it, for once they did, they would no longer be able to change their Class.

The 16 Classes in this most primitive of States only offered a direction in life, and a moderate boost in stats, focused on their themes; in time, these classes, or at least some of them, would be more fleshed out.

Thus, he looked upon all the creatures, thought of many more possibilities, and then went through the 16 classes. Each Class would have a different focus on stat increases. Many states would be increased in this; it's just minor; left thumb strength while underwater wasn't exactly something many people would choose to wilfully increase by themselves. A lot of the stats were like that. Not all stats were even given to all races. After all, not all creatures even had left thumbs.

These stat focuses made them better as if they were natural talents. They didn't give the skill of experience but better natural ability. Learning still needed to be done, assuming the skills existed during their time. A man who never saw moondust might be creative with thinking with its natural capabilities but might not have the experience required to use it. However, the stat foci didn't actually exist, besides more general stats for some of them. It meant that someone good at gambling would be able to use that class-based affinity in related matters as well, with the further the skill is from the foci, the harder it is to port over those natural abilities.

So the Natural Stat Foci, for the Classes were.
Wizard: Intelligence or Wisdom/Words of Power
Sorcerer: Random Stat increases/The Source
Monk: Wisdom, Meditation
Shifter: Change
Druid: Nature, Charisma
Priest: Intimidation and revolution
Magus: Strength & Intelligence
Champion: Strength & Wisdom
Transmuter: Intelligence and Charisma
Gambler: Luck and Gambling
Earthen Defender: Defense and Force Field Magic
Airsmith: Dexterity and Gravity Magic
Lawbringer: Wisdom and  the rites and duties of a Judge
Lord: Charisma and Management
Trickster: Luck and Deception
Farmer: Encumbrance and Farming

The Other God's Foci were beyond his Understanding, so Cungto couldn't theorize what they wanted, but Cungto had a reason for the Classes he implemented. Airsmiths were going to be useful for transportation with their innate Understanding of Chessium's gravity magic. Farmers were needed to supply food for the people of this world. Good Rulers were necessary, and thus The Lord, even if he had other reasons for implementing them. Aside from their explosive expertise, defenders would become great miners, allowing them to extract resources for great projects. Gamblers and Tricksters were helpful for another purpose as pure representatives of Luck. They'd allow others to understand the importance of Luck and allow for a Strong Representation of the Chaotic side. Besides, the purpose of life is to have fun.

Now, There were other classes he had considered the most significant of those classes, the Monster Class, for the various beasts. That was dismissed in the end.

However, the central aspect of the classes was how easy it would be to slot new abilities into it, things he planned to do in the Future, skills, leveling, special abilities for some classes, and more. So, much more. Not to be Done just yet, but something he had to be aware of. This would be a long-term project and a good start for what was needed.

Cungto Realized he hadn't even invented Interfaces yet. This would be a purely instinctual choice for now. That might mean sentients wouldn't even call them by their proper names for a while yet. Cungto loved the uncertainty.

Cungto Spent 2 Acts to Create the Basic Class System.

Initially, AO watched intently, seeing that a grand project was underway with the deft weaving of Cungto's ACT. The Ancient One watched silently as he thought he saw signs of overreach. His suspicions were quickly quelled as he saw this God tie these disparate parts up very neatly under the description of Classes, a variety of outcomes from a single choice. All essentially conveyed a mode of improvement and a track for their development within these Caste-like classes. It set out 16 different outcomes and the potential to climb higher, while simultaneously setting a primitive blueprint for society, completed with a bit of incidental moral underpinnings insofar as could be described so briefly as the Opposition of Lawful to Chaotic.

As the Basic Edition Class System floats out into the Void, by far the most complex of all universal constants, it began to Work. Randomly each creature would have the choice presented to them in the most understandable way but usually involved a risk of some kind, a choice of two dens for instance, or the ease of life allowing one to indulge in playful tricks. Sometimes they were young when the choice presented itself or at times they were very old, near the end of their lives, but most were in their prime years with plenty of life left within them. Here when they made a choice it brought upon them clarity of focus, the want, and natural inclination toward a variety of skills useful to the class.

Some of these inclinations were very useful on a primitive level but many skills that would be considered most useful had not been conceived of yet nor would any of the flora or fauna be able to utilize them in their current states. However, some were very well suited for natural environments and the mindset of many animals. The Earthen Defender was a popular choice among the nest-mates of the Libees, LiAnts, and LiMantis. Likewise much larger fish chose monks because of the attraction of silent meditation. A few of the arthropod gliders and the unburnt-out firebirds became Ayrsmiths, learning to properly guide themselves through the Aerosphere. The grazing giant snails often became the druids of their fungal kingdoms or farmers, while the quick legged lobsters often fell into the gambler class by accident making a choice between an easy meal or a sure meal a harder way, almost always ending in the lobsters losing a leg for the choice due to a clever predator. The Cliff crabs were adept at climbing verticle surfaces and some communities of the crabs began to develop a pension for magus and champion class creatures utilizing strength and a focused mind to navigate life on a vertical rockface. Sometimes an odd creature would choose one of the other classes but as of yet many had few followers, of course, this would change in time and as the capacity for intellect grew.

In only one community did it seem that all such things had come together. Large communities of fish had begun to form with many different classes within them, including Lord classes. Each seemed to excel in their own ways, adding their inclinations to the community. In the ocean, several communities like this clashed in campaigns with one another and traded members in a vast and dramatic interplay of secrets revealed and ultimate betrayals. The lands were still far too empty for large groups to become commonplace aside from the occasional Libee colony.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Thackus thought of the concept of Coral. Creation of coral reefs would be a great boon to the aquatic life that fills the waters down below. Coral reefs will act as nurseries and homes for the fish, somewhat like forest homes for animals of the surface. In addition, coral can be used for materials and tools of later ages for the mortal sentients, and eventually, should they receive enough scientific advancement, coral could even be used for medicine in some ways.

Thackus took a group of rocks and skipped them all over the seas of the world down below. Various rocks skipped miles off the coastlines and in the center of the world. Thackus smiled, as he magically transformed all the rocks he had filled the seas with through a simple hand gesture. He was looking forward to the days when there were many categories of coral.

ACT: Thackus creates coral, as a beneficial gift to sea life for the down below.

Thackus crafts a most wondrous thing, light but tough lifeform that grew a skeletal endoskeleton and left this wonderous thing behind even after it had passed away. These were like the first of the colonial single-celled lifeforms, and their skeletal remains left an entire niche for life to grow into a veritable forest for undersea life, which had continued to develop in the oceans, especially along the coasts where food was most abundant from minerals of the mountain streams. However with the appearance of several of these coral reefs the ocean forests that existed already began the process of competition with the reef ecology that spread as surely as the oceanic forests and seabloom fields.

The life that arose among the reefs seemed to prefer arthropods, like crabs, snails, and the newly developed plankton, as well as schools of colorful fish. Some fed upon the coral itself, while others nestled under archways, pockets, and other nooks created by the branching paths of the coral growth for safety.

IN time, each of these reefs would come to be the undersea kingdom of a particular organization of fish. Nine Great Reefs in total, each's Sorcerors and Wizards seemingly able to use the Ley Lines of their territory on some level as well as their successes that were coincidentally governed by the waxing and waning of the moon that guided their tide.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Humilis applauded Thackus, as he watched the god of knowledge create corals to populate the waterways and seas.
"A wonderful idea, cousin!" He proclaimed, smiling into the void as he watched the other god work. With so much conflict above the surface of the waters, revolving around firebirds and lithium bees, it was wonderful to see the more peaceful and verdant oceans receive attention. The actions of the other god inspired Humilis, who turned to find that his sister was already one step ahead of him.
"All the waters of all worlds deserve such attention. Let us develop them, and take the next step. We will mutate fish, giving them the power to walk equally on land and in water. Do you agree, brother?"
"Of course sister, of course. Please: proceed."

ACT: Humilis and Pax once again create a new branch of life: amphibians.

For many generations, the fish of the lakes and streams had not changed significantly, their destinies seemingly already written, until now. A change swept out to guide some fish from their habitats as their fins solidified into stubby legs. Cautiously the first of the amphibians wriggled onto land, finding it quite nice, but also had air. It suddenly inhaled a large gulp of the air, and it swam down into its fresh lungs which adjoined the already closed gills. Now, freed from the waters and gills, at least for the moment the creature clambered off to find a nice muddy bog to sleep near as it pursued the tiny bug gliders to eat. In this fashion, much small fish began the march to land, though they found not an empty landscape but beaches full of predators.

Thus began to race to adapt the right form once again. The little beasties tried every conceivable variation of their bodies to improve their odds of survival against the advanced land crab life and other dangerous arthropods. This did however in turn provide a new source of food for many struggling creatures along the riverbanks and deeper inland surrounding the isolated lakes. It was clear however that amphibians were the most advanced of all creatures yet in existence for they retained many of their fish-like behaviors of schooling and social interaction.

The reoccurring problem of firebirds had meant many of these water bodies had become something of an oasis in the world for life of all kinds and linked only by the will of the gods and chance did they mingle with other life nearer the oceans.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

For this act, Perenna molded her flesh into the form of a beautiful woman with an ankle-length navy blue braid, golden eyes, and a flowing red yukata. Drawing a purple-bladed and black-handled katana, it was clear that her body wasn't the only thing she planned on molding. Parsing through her web of time, she saw a future in which her followers would come to her moon to pray. To provide a place for that task, she gathered several gemstones of varying colors and got to work sculpting something that she felt would suffice. On the surface of her moon, there would stand a 50-foot-tall statue of herself. The hair was made from sapphires, the robe from rubies, the blade, which was held over the statue's shoulder, from amethysts and onyxes, the eyes from citrines, and the skin from garnets. This, she felt, was a suitable place of prayer.

Perenna constructs the Iridescent Statue on her moon.

A towering statue of Perenna came to be then upon the surface of her moon. This moon was a dry temperate moon, it held wide grasslands with the occasional forest here and there which followed an errant stream or surrounded a small body of water. Here and there a few held sizeable numbers of amphibian groups as well as fish schooling in the streams and lakes. The land-dwelling life visited the statue crowding close to gaze with multiple eyes at the statue they were drawn to in a nearby field of flowers. The structure glistened with the divine precision required to hew the statue from gemstone and powerstone alike, for in its setting its enhanced beauty entranced all who looked upon it.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Dadacar looks admiringly at his sibling Perenna's work. A depth of appreciation that can only come from a being as great and wide as a god echoes between Dadacar and Perenna.

Turning from his newfound inspiration, Dadacar turned his attention to his own moon. Waves of gratitude rolled from Dadacar to Durehan. Now it was time for Dadacar to make this moon, his own.

Pondering his work so far, he finds his firebirds sufficient, but uninspired. If he was to continue his work future projects would require finesse and design far beyond the immediacy of the flaming raptors.

As his mind was decided so did his will enact.

From the surface of the moon gifted to him rose a massive structure. A factory cathedral wrought in heavenly gold and platinum assembled itself, larger than any mountain currently in existence. While on the outside its structure rose large enough to be seen anywhere on Lerret, within its endless halls and galleries were larger still, always large enough for whatever task was required. The great foundry was fueled by holy fire and every inch was hot enough to vaporize anything not blessed by the god himself.

Though for the moment it was a powerful tool, its purpose was yet unclear.

Dadacar creates the Soulforge, a foundry for the gods to forge future souls.

Dadacar takes up his power once again and casts it into the Void and towards his moon. There sits a wide valley with only a stream to run through it. From the floor of the valley erupts a structure of angles and curvature, metals erected with narrow precision and skill, purified by his will, as only a god of earth and fire could achieve. The spiderweb of corridors and galleries could even be seen from Lerret, with its blindingly evident golden shimmer, at its most brilliant near the sunset or rise. Its towers rise high into the skies of Dadacar's moon.

For now it simply was, the great rooms had naught but age and heat to accumulate. The moon itself was changed forever by the crafting of the Soulforge! Much of the lands began to heat up, giving it a tropical feel in many places near the moon's equator but nearer the poles was drier and less humid, owing much to the increase in volcanic activity on the moon across its surface. Now surrounding the network of halls were pools of lava where the rock had melted and shrank back from the complex while the heat of holy fire burned within the great furnaces inside...

Firebirds came to rest here, having a place to return to with heat compared with the source of their original life. Though food would soon be scarce with the way things were heating up on the moon's surface. Though because of the limited contact with the atmosphere of Dadacar's moon, its heat did not significantly affect the other worlds accept to occasionally warm the chilly Great Chessboard. This acted to melt the glacial ice that had built up for much of the age.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Cungto was incredibly satisfied with the class act. Thus, he continued to look at the chessboard. So many pieces were left unsigned, unmarked with their potential yet untapped. These events led him to look at the other pieces. Ideas filled his imagination, so many of them were inappropriate for now; while possible, he felt it was wrong. He, however, quickly realized one aspect was quite uneven. For The Lucky White King had no opponent.

With Cungto's ideas of how to cement progress, he needed a metric, something specific, that either induced progress or regress, for luck stayed even. Having the classes regress people's capabilities felt wrong, so progress was the evident experience. Similarly, it had to be predictable, for luck was uncertain by its very nature.

These thoughts led Cungto to the idea of The Experienced Black King. The experience was a source of progress, it was yet untapped and held no use quite yet, but even in this primary state, the EXP metric would store the value of how much exp they had gained for them to be able to use in the future, for a couple of metrics.

Now, how would people gain experience? Everything one person did would grant an amount of exp that would correlate to the chances of succeeding on the task, so long as they were successful in completing the task, winning a game or milking the cows, the rewards for the task, the risk involved, the time the task would take, along with a factor for how close its related to the class they were.

So a libee defender fending away attacks from a Firebird. They are defending so they gain the class bonus, they risk injury or death thus they have considerable risk, the reward is the safety of their home, the time would be a couple of minutes, and the chance is unlikely, these combine together for the final score in a partially multiplicative fashion.

Things that happen to them personally are taken into account far more than the risks of others. No not even if it might affect a million people.

Cungto Creates the Experience System.

Experience System slowly attached to reality, finding places where its potential could be used. XP began to accumulate most where skirmishes and battles took place between the fish reef kingdoms and between competing territories of varieties of other animals. Sometimes just the daily life of an animal granted significant XP because of the numerous dangers they faced from one another and even sometimes their own kind. The more risk involved, the more the XP reward and a furthering of their class ideals.

Bjornrogn considered long his last ACT, and those of his sibling Dieties.  This.. is.. insufficient... He thought to himself.  There.. is.. no.. structure.., no.. consistency...  Change.. must.. be.. balanced.. by.. stassis.., for.. either.. to.. have . meaning... With an intense look of concentration, Bjornrogn brought forth genetics within all living things.  Henceforth evolution would be the primary vehicle for change among living creatures.

ACT: create Genes.
Intent: to create within the game world genes, and ideally evolution.

So it is, so it is done. Overshadowing life's previous Mutation system, genes now play a pivotal part in life's exchange of raw data. This indeed does have the intended effect of slowing random mutation and making it less frequent, therefore further stability. Thus enacted, a mechanism for genes is applied to all life, thus lineage becomes even more important once again as genetic compatibility becomes another filter for life. Firebird descended life carried their genetic code as flame-feather colored markings, Currency-based life was now fundamentally different from cellular-based life, each cell carried the being's genetics, while currency-based life held an organ for this process within them.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Plutocrus decided he needed to fill out the ecosystem a bit more. Honey wouldn't be the only thing beings would find useful and monetize. he took a piece of paper from his body and dipped it in the water. as the ink ran off of the document, he collected it up and started changing its shape.

He experimented with several designs. Cute round bodies? Long hydrodynamic ones with pointy heads? 8 legs? 10? Soon he had a sample size of shapes and limbs that he liked. They would be an interesting new addition, with the ability to squirt ink from their bodies to confuse predators or prey.  Adding limbs for both movement and grabbing. some suckers to make holding on to things easier,  and the ability to change their bodies in ways other animals hadn't been able to yet, and these would surely become a strong aquatic life form at this point.

All he needed to do was infuse them with life, putting in all those "genes" and "Mitochondria" the others had been going on about, and this new form could take to the seas.

ACT: Plutocrus creates Cephalopods (Squids and Octopi).

Plutocrus ACTs to craft cephalopods from ink. Such creations were darkly colored generally, with a variety of body plans right out of the box. The creatures quickly began to acclimatize and grow into bodies of water around the world of Lerret, and further too. Since they were created with genes and mitochondria, they held the information concerning any new lifeforms that might spring from themselves, as well as the possibility of granting the "mito-traits" that made other creatures uber-powerful to their offspring. This did have the effect of slowing the pace of change across the new branch of life though.

A few primitive cephalopods had already existed in the form of snails and slugs(a backdraft from the arthropod creation), but these new "real" slugs quickly usurped the faux-slugs wherever they were found.

The cephalopods interacted with the other life often, sometimes it resulted in battles, but mostly it involved some kind of deception where the cephalopod utilized their natural powers of camouflage and problem-solving to become clever ambush predators in an homage to the Trickster class many of them became involved with.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Now ready to move back to the land Plutocrus decides Lerret needs more basic life before it moved on to sentient life forms. Something small, useful and to test the power of herbivores on this land before he moved up to big forms of life. It would need to be something adaptable that can spread but would help grow more plants rather than killing them.

Struck with inspiration, he set about crafting a small bushy-tailed little mammal. He gave it hair, a propensity for finding and burying the nuts or seeds of fruit if it couldn't eat them all, strong ears to hear if those firebirds tried to hunt it, strong legs for climbing and hiding in trees, some big teeth for breaking open nuts and fruit to eat,  and most interestingly from his perspective; the power of live birth.

Most of the other creatures on Lerret reproduced by eggs, or by direct splitting. These new kinds of animals would bring about something new and interesting to build on.

ACT: Plutocrus creates Squirrels, that can evolve into various other small mammals.

And Lo, unto you this day small furry things were born!

These highly adaptable and synergetic creatures actively collected and lost many fruits of the trees, both growing the forests through the losses and farming the local fruits for vast litters of tiny squirrels. The pointed ear fellows quickly spread across the face of Lerret, as the twin continents were the only real separation there were no squirrels on the Southern continent, however, that would not last for long as the darn things procreated so much.

The new little critters changed slowly over time, expanding from the Rodentia they began as, but not as slowly as the cephalopods, whom had mitochondria and genes.

Noticing something, Thackus was sure that the animals down below had no emotions beyond basic drives and survival instincts. This simply wouldn't do. The god of wisdom decided, henceforth, the creations of the gods and their offspring would be capable of the full range and intensity of emotions. Sentient life would be more erm, animated, and emotive with their feelings, however.

Thackus took a deep breath, then exhaled on the world down below, empowering all life with a small portion of his spirit. All life, even, though to a lesser extent, plants would be capable of feeling a wider range of emotions. Hate, Love, Admiration, Dislike, Fear, Hope, all pleasures, etcetera.

ACT: Thackus creates the full range and power of emotions for mortal life.

The gift of emotions began to drift slowly into the world that was being crafted. All lifeforms gained this quality that allowed them to experience life with its many complications in a new and interesting way, experiencing both ups and downs through the lens of emotion. This made many angry and bitter, life was, after all, a constant test for survivability with few rewards. A few managed to maintain a calm demeanor, these usually included those gifted their size by predecessors or lucky enough to live somewhere they did not experience a constant stream of alarming danger.

The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Now Plutocrus can been working with creatures that evolve and seen a lot of things change.  And that got him thinking about change. What about the idea that great changes didn't have to be random chance over the course of generations, but a force applied to a thing that MADE it change?

After all, the earth was once metal coins, gems were stars knocked down by a goddess's fan, water was rat-spit, and ALL things had been infused with the power of change. The trick would be reminding it of that.

So working within the System and the Magic that had already been set out Plutocrus worked out a system of applying power to things to evoke a change. Lead into Gold, Flesh to Stone, many other possibilities awaited someone who could master this power.

Plutocrus establishes Transmutation Magic, and makes it the defining characteristic of the Transmuters.

Small changes appeared at first among those like the Octopods of the Deep, spidery things that drifted in the deep and held much sway among the territorial fish there. The Transmuter Octopods began to shape caverns in the deepness, transmuting water to stone, to lure the fish in with tasty morsels, which the fish couldn't find their way out of. Other transmuters joined the class as well, as some of the fatter squirrels began to shape wood into dams.

Re: The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Ayrmith shifted slowly loosening the bindings of Stasis. He called to the power of lightning, and water, to change his form and become more then he had been, to overcome the limitations that his inaction had caused. As the powers flowed into him, he became more then the Stasis and was freed. As he stretched his new body he found that he was more storm then simple wind.

He looked over the world marveling at the changes since the formation of the Aerosphere. He paused looking at the acts that had brought life, and even greater change into the Void. He was momentary overwhelmed looking for how he could reinforce his presence on the world once more. Then his power found a lowly slime, overlooked by the ever-growing creations of life. He reached out with a hand encasing it in his power, studying how it worked and the modifications that the laws had added.

He then blew power into the slime, reinforcing the membrane of it’s body, and increasing the potency of the slim inside it. Soon he caused his power to pull into a single stone that would act as it’s heart, and spirt. This would allow a slime to regrow from anything that didn’t break its core.

He then worked to modify the Mutation-Ordering system’s effects on the slime. Creating a special condition evolution, that would allow the slime to become elementally aligned. The condition is that once triggered, the slime’s element would be determined based on the elements effecting it, not the slimes choice, or random chance.  Elemental Evolution would allow the slime to be immune to any damage of the element that it was aligned with, but take more damage from any other element. It would also allow the slime to travel through anything of that element without resistance. The elemental slime would be drawn to absorb energy from its element, but required to hunt things that aren’t of its element to grow. (So, a fire slime wouldn’t try to eat lava or the Firebirds but would absorb things that weren’t fire-based.) Elemental Evolution would also be limited to once in the creature’s life time.

Finally, he modified the nature of the slime. He allowed it to split anytime it absorbed enough resources that its size doubled, though every new slime would lose its elemental alignment until it triggered its Elemental Evolution.

ACT: Ayrmith recreating/strengthening the slimes body, slime and core.

ACT: Ayrmith creates a special condition evolution, Elemental Evolution limited to the Slime race.

ACT: Ayrmith decreased the slimes requirements to split, but decreased the effects of evolution based off of parent/offspring Genes.

After the slime was modified Ayrmith split the slime into hundreds of slimes. And then Ayrmith spread the slimes out into all the different environments that he could find on the Lerret.

Intent:

As Ayrmith sent the newly reborn slimes out, now with divine sanction, the little cellular creatures began to eat that which they most love to feast upon. These granted the first of the reinvigorated slime race a new order, for they had been granted elemental evolution. Now they began to take on the likeness of the elemental nature around them. The ecological regions now present upon Lerret included many habitats. Desert slimes came to be known as the Sandyslimes. The new Jungles harbored treeslimes. The marshlands and swamps exposed the stillwaterslimes. While the moons harbored many types of unique slimes based on the godly affinity the moon granted. Dadacar's moon held many scaldingslimes, while Perenna's moon held the colorslimes. The Chessboard had many slimes over the centuries but now the Iceslime became a regular inhabitant. In the Great Ocean, slimes could elementally evolve into Undineslimes, where they had the grace and speed of fish but often ambushed prey at the water's edge.

Even as they began to take root it was noted that slimes did not change much under classical evolution and few of the slimes had enough luck to induce a new change, however, this was changing in their favor.

Dadacar wasted no time admiring his work. Filling the halls of the Soulforge with his being he sought the perfect space for his next venture.

Deep within the bowels of the cavernous construct he found a great gallery that was empty of substance but rich with opportunity.

With a thought he filled the room with a solid block of orichalcum. Another thought and the solid block began to melt and shift until it became a great loom, forged of a single piece of heavenly metal.

Next Dadacar gathered up the raw matter of creation, very existence itself. No small feat even for a god, he began to twist and braid the ethereal guts of reality into thick cables and fed them into the loom. This would provide the raw material for his future crafting.

ACT: Dadacar creates the Loom of Heavenly Essence, the first manner of soul creation.

And so it was. Upon Dadacar's Moon, the Soulforge began to twist and braid the very stuff of creation through a vast network of heavenly metal; such as knobs, girders, pistons, cranks, looms, and gears that began to move in a test of its own ability. Slowly turning out the First Soul!

This gargantuan undefined soul began to drift about ethereally as if it were newborn learning of its habitat, though at the moment it was still being created and thus still tied to its place of origin. It searched and flailed about for its creator, who had so recently filled the complex called the Soulforge. It reached out to Dadacar.

Re: The First Age: Acts of the Old World

"The age progresses, sister." Humilis regarded the acts of the others. So many in so short a time. Much was changing. There was much left to do, as always.
"It does brother." Pax replied, though while her brother was focused on the void, she was focused on something else: a project which she was sheltering from the view of all others. Humilis knew what it was, and understood that now was not quite yet the time.
"We shall remain focused on the task ahead. Not much longer now. Not much longer."

ACT: Humilis and Pax uses the mutation/gene system to create a new branch of life in a places where they can be sustained: Reptiles.

In the vast slopes and plateaus between forests of the Northern and Southern continents lay hot deserts and many a dry land. These were ideal for creatures that loved the heat and did not require much water such as the reptilians. From the hand of the Twin Gods, many new scaly beings arose. After the squirrel mammals, these were by far the most advanced of all the creatures yet crafted or guided into being.

Each held mitochondria and genetic information now, so their development would take many long generations, but ultimately a very successful and diverse group of creatures would hail from this new branch of life. From here many spread into the new jungles which were ideal habitats also. Others moved into the oceans where they quickly became the most successful creatures, their size, durability, and strength made them tough contenders. The Plesiosaurus was the best example of their superiority, few creatures in creation posed a threat aside from other oceanic reptiles such as Shonisaurus (real reptile if you want to look it up).

Re: The First Age: Acts of the Old World

Bjornrogn stands, and walks off into the Void.  His massive form can be seen from afar, traveling to the nearest planet to Larret.  There he spends a long time exploring the system Which he names Verdun, discovering everything there is to know there.  Satisfied, Bjornrogn considered long his next ACT.  Then, drawing from his essence, he empowers the obelisk.  Granting them the ability to transport any being that used Magic in the right way to any other Obelisk in the world.  And, with lesser Magic, they could transport a being to any Obelisk they had previously touched.

ACT: Exploration of the nearest system of Lerret.
ACT: Enhancing the Obelisks to be an Item of power, invested with the ability to transport beings between them instantaneously.

Casting his gaze from Lerret Prime, Bjornrogn sees a strange new world and looks deeper; a near facsimile of the world of his kin, but it was imperfect and many of his sibling's actions were missing here or were lessened in some manner. This one had many of the same ACTs upon its face and core, made of stone, gems, earth, and power stones, even a spell of fire. It had a primitive Aerosphere as well that circulated air via currents around the world, but there was no Great Chessboard here. It held a copy of the obsidian obelisks within it and it could transport a being who utilized the right magic from one point to another on its surface, much the same as the original obelisks, and each was supported upon the Ley Lines and their ability to strengthen the power of magic along those lines. Each of this system's six moons also held these Ley Lines even though these moons were near-lifeless and airless because they did not pass through the Aerosphere at any point in their history. Also, upon Lerret 2 life had grown here unmolested after their creation except for those ACTs upon which life had been widely subscribed.

Here the vast Undersea Forests still claimed their place as the dominant form of the undersea environment. Indeed this world held much more water than Lerret Prime, it had not lost nearly as much from the Chessboard's absence but had been granted two helpings of water. All life here also had been granted genes and mitochondria which were subject to the Luck/Mutation/Evolution system. Plantlife was mostly Currency-based and the Single-celled varieties were neatly filling in every niche, funguses being the most recent of them several millennia prior. Slimes of all stripes appear to be present here and on the five moons as well. It could be seen that there had been two impacts recently which had disturbed the world, and had shifted geography greatly, now there was one larger continent with a wide strip of land that connected the north to the south even though both of those continents were greatly diminished in size for the larger amounts of water in its Great Ocean, this Great Continent was larger than either of the North or South on Lerret Prime.

Here again, there was a great rumble as the Great Bear God moved in the Void. His ACT cast both his divine power and will into this second set of Obsidian Obelisks. Now, these too form an ITEM OF POWER, and thus were indestructible. In addition, they grant one an immutable power to teleport one whom touched any previous Obelisk a return trip. Bjornrogn sees this done and returns to the Eternal Realm...
