This lifting but looks like a job for a block and tackle system. ;)

In all seriousness though, if their car is above us with there beasts, we should be fine. Either that, or slap a little healing on the unconscious one to wake him up and help us.

I think I'm the only healer and I didn't prepare any...Daecelyn didn't expect to need it.

OK, so, 5 miles, If Daecelyn never looked back after passing the wagon, he could think it would still be in sight. For an Elf, it actually might be, if it's large enough...the human eye can see a candle flame from a mile away on a dark night. If no one else does, I will post about it in a few days.

Re: OOC: 1
due to the curvature of the plane...

given two, 6 ft (182.88 centimeters) tall persons ...

three miles is the general limit of distance that those two individuals can be separated and still see each other, though you are correct an elf could see that far un-aided by telescopes or spy glasses.

Re: OOC: 1
PF has a baseline distance calculation which is pretty good. DC to see something next to you is 0, +1 for every 10 ft away from you. This is for detailed watching. I'd double it for generic stuff.

dnd 3.5 has the same calculations...but elves see 2x further in low light...so i extend the calculation to ... +1 for every 20 ft away from elves ...or to the rare races that see 3x...+1 for every 30 ft away from a member of that race

And I need to point out, Daecelyn would have possibly seen the Large wagon before going into the hole, and never considered others couldn't or might have trouble with it.

The DC was 18

Those that didn't make it are exhausted
Exhausted:
An exhausted character moves at half speed and takes a -6 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. After 1 hour of complete rest, an exhausted character becomes fatigued. A fatigued character becomes exhausted by doing something else that would normally cause fatigue.

yes, for an hour or so...like i am assuming you did while you are sitting around discussing the dead body still in the cave.

which was logically concluded when Mike indicated that he planed to go back to town and gather more supplies and man power.

No need to apologize, and at may other times that would be the policy here...but I am trying to get/keep this game moving in a forward direction.

Some details are being sacrificed to gain the benefits of momentum.

I love Entangling Exhalation. When I can combine it with Slow Breath at 5th level, it's Chef's Kiss perfection. I reduced a heavily armored creatures speed to just 5ft. Fun times to be had all around.

Re: OOC: 1
GM, I'm not within 10 ft of the corpse. My breath weapon has 2 ranges, 30 ft line and 15 ft cone. I used the line, so I was not next to the corpse. I think that means I don't roll Fort based on what you were asking. Now, I will roll Fort when it comes within 10 ft of me if that's still required.

You only need to roll if...
...you come within 10 ft of the creature
...and have not succeeded/rolled the save before.

Got it. That's a logic equation I can solve. I was confused by the message on the Initiative Tracker. Thank you for clarifying that.

The next person in the initiative has logged in today. So go ahead and post.

I will resolve yours and their actions tomorrow.

Re: OOC: 1
I am hoping that this will speed things up.

I will use initiative order to resolve actions. But players can post in any order.

If a full week has passed since the last post, feel free to post again. Anyone that has not posted in that week will be considered as holding their action.
