Daniel and Rover. Animal Handler and his Service Animal. I have wheels, but Rover gets the front passenger seat, two of you can get backseats, and the rest can try to crowd into the back section with my big lock box.

No, Rover will NOT give up the front seat. You're my companions, but he's my dog.

 I'm not approved yet, but if it works out Killian here'll be your non-driving doorman at one of the local theme clubs. He lives in a grungy apartment, steals cheap cable and when visitors turn up, rapidly changes the channel from cookery shows to obnoxious porn because that's less embarrassing.

I'm not done yet, but I'm a thief and probably an expat, but not certain on the setting yet.

 This is probably where I should ask if we should be posting. ^_^

For example, are those bikers Iron Lions, or another group of bikers? And is Killian at the Golden Safari?

To add, how common is the knowledge of the modern world and the other side right now? Is Killian someone that Daniel or Diggs would find usual, or are anthropomorphic beings a regular thing, and the strange hasn't even happened yet?

I'm happy to help build this world and run with it, but wanted to make sure I was starting off on the right foot.

You may have missed my other question, but I'm going to presume for now that magic stuff and non-humans is a...regular thing?

 Not in 'default' Urban Arcana (the DM may of course tell us otherwise).

 The world of Urban Arcana is (mostly) ours, but on the other side of the mirror, a thickness of a shadow away is The Shadow. That's where fantastic things dwell and no-one really knows much about them.

 Sometimes they slip through from their world to this one, only when they do so they lose most of their memories as they adapt to this reality.

 Most folks on this side meanwhile, don't see Shadowkin exactly. You look at Killian you see a big dude, obviously a doorman or something and your brain edits out the scales and tail. If you see him in the club, where the costumed servers are you might see them - but you'll just remember a really good costume. If you saw him bite someone, later on you might remember an addict on bath salts or a sewer gator, the same way that fireball becomes a gas explosion.

 And then you've got the aware. Their faulty vision sees things as they really are, not as their happy little minds want to remember them.

 But like I said: DM's call!

At this point, the rising tide of The Shadow is at overpressure so things spill out quickly.
Differing organizations may or may not be prepared.

There THAT should add some confusion as to what Daniel does and doesn't know.

And folks, I can post about once...maaaaybe twice daily. So if it's going to go at this rate continually, I might have to bow out ahead of time. I cant keep up with that kind of pace.

New games are always fast the first couple days, then slow down. The only other game I'm in started out the same, now we're lucky if the GM posts once a week. But that's an extreme example.

...so the time doesn't make sense.

I think it's time I bowed out. I really was hoping for something else, and while I was super excited to play with this character, I dont think my writing style is most conducive to this gaming style.

For what it was worth, I did have some fun. I also don't think it would be fair of me to invest in something I'm not invested in, waiting everyone's time in the process. I hope you all stay awesome though. I'm sure I'll see you cats around the boards :)
