Looking like a neat system. A little surprised that we have already had some attrition, but I am sure we will be just fine.

Hoping to get a description and some general knowledge up shortly.

We have lost our Swordmaster as well, so the starting cast will be a healthy seven.

Just looking at the cast list (and activity/posts), looks like we're almost wrapped up on the creation front. Soon the fun begins!

I'm essentially done also.  Will get to putting down a description and short bio tomorrow.

Seems we have lost our Game Master. They've been gone longer than I was.

Yep.

Yet another game, dead on arrival. Shame.

It is, especially given all the neat ideas for the House.

Sigh.

They said there had been a COVID-related death of an uncle, in their other game, and that their immediate family had been exposed. Reason enough for an absence these days, as the latest variants are extremely unpleasant.

Still holding out hope here. Fingers crossed at least.

Should our estimable Game Master not return, I would like to start a game using this House. I may not use the Game Master's existing setup, though I do have ideas to build on that. There would be three factions within the House, mirroring the three main sects of Judaism (Sadducee, Pharisee, and Essene) during Hasmonean rule over Judea (the historical inspiration for many established facts). The Sadducees embraced Greek cultural influences, the Pharisees rejected them, and the Essenes preferred not to sully themselves with such worldly matters. This ties in well with the Game Master's idea of the House vying for the Caladan succession, as House Atreides claims a connection to the legendary Greek king Agamemnon. The Sadducees were thus pro-Atreides and the Pharisees were anti-Atreides. Her two husbands were Sadducees and Atreides supporters, while Lady Salome is a Pharisee and has divorced the House from their former masters. Or something like that. Thoughts? Opinions?

I'm sorry, I already joined another game when this one got stagnant.  I don't think I will have the time to consistently post on both.  Best of luck, hope you can get this campaign up and running.
