The Game Master:
We had a flurry of interest and ended up with 9 players before I closed the game for new applications. I think that's about the limit of what we would want in one House, but if there is interest in overlapping roles, or a close tie between two leading concepts, it might be worth considering two Player Houses. I would welcome the thoughts of the Cast on this.
With 9 players, its close to having right at the mid-point from the originally mentioned goal (4-6) for starting. So if there was enough mixed interest (or competing role requests), we could do two houses in a sort of split game. The only concern I'd have with that is loss rates over time. Invariably as time goes on I can see one or two players either being slow to reply or gradually dropping out for a variety of reasons (loss of interest, increased RL obligations, etc). Two houses of 4-5 each could quickly descend into two houses of 1-2 each. Merging the two at that point could be hard to do.
Even given that, however, I'm not entirely against the idea if it seems a good way to go. Given how quickly everyone expressed an interest in the game (less than 24 hours), seems the eagerness for this sort of game is definitely there!
