Welcome everyone to the game. We have three confirmed Players and a potential fourth or Lurker. I would like 4-6 before starting House Creation.

Access to the rulebook is not necessary as I can either help walk you through the process or we can use the secondary character creation option defined, which is to start with an archetype and then “build as you go.”

I'm definitely eyeing the rulebook as a PDF purchase right now myself; don't have it as yet. I have the hardcopy of the other Dune rulebook but wasn't even aware of a new system being printed anytime recently. Shows how close I monitor the new book market! Love the Dune Universe though since back in the Herbert days, so this should definitely be a fun genre.

Hello everyone, new fan to the Dune series, currently going through the original series, currently on God-Emperor of Dune so I'm excited to try this game out with you.

Welcome! The Dune Universe I think is a great sci-fi setting. Even though its 'in the future', it really allows for a great mix of plot possibilities. Just like more classical times of noble houses vying for power in a single country, its just shifted so that each house has their own planet instead. I'm curious to see what sort of plots develop!

We had a flurry of interest and ended up with 9 players before I closed the game for new applications. I think that's about the limit of what we would want in one House, but if there is interest in overlapping roles, or a close tie between two leading concepts, it might be worth considering two Player Houses. I would welcome the thoughts of the Cast on this.
