Keiko wished her two-person late lunch that was going to be a bigger party was going to happen as planned.

Keiko sighed again, but she was less irritated and said softly "We shouldn't close up shop early .. I'm thrilled we have more business .. and I'd rather celebrate your birthday at a restaurant .... a movie can be watched later on at the ranch .."

She stopped talking and changed gears .. then told Adam the plans she had made with everyone ..

She smiled a little .. and looked at her clock that was in a pocket "I'm in theory going to go  back to do my job."

She began to walk off ... she slightly smiled a little more and reversed herself and a scared woman gave Adam a tender kiss...

She reluctantly broke the hug and said randomly "Oh and later .. whenever .. we'll be seen together."

She ran out of rambling and confusing words to say .. except "Can you kiss me and shut me up and we should work until three, I think."

Adam laughed and gave Keiko another kiss, this time he kissed her a little longer and even licked her lips a couple of times before withdrawing back but still he holds her in his arms.
He looked at her,"I don't need a party, and I'm pretty sure I told you there was no need." He looked in her eyes and could tell how much it meant to her to have this birthday dinner with his friends and family, he broke down and said,"I will practice, and give my oh my gosh surprise look. Just for you. Thank you."
Terry walked up and started taking and asking for Keiko to help him with
an  engine that locked up and won't start it's a used plane Adam here got at a flee market. It is going to be another project plane just like the  Black Silk, Adam's personal plane, so it is going to be completely over hauled painting it Cherry Apple Red, but anyway I digress but that will come later. But anyway come help me please."

Adam released Keiko the turned her away, he padded her butt as she walked away. He winked at her (Keiko} when she turned around to look at him,(Adam)

Terry and the rest of the merry band of workers that were milling around made it look as if the newly minted couple were taking hours to kiss and hug by looking a few minutes at their watches in goofy ways.

Keiko was happy to be kissed and shook a little during when Adam administered his last kiss.

Keiko effected an even sexier version of the Yvonne Craig / Barbara Gordon / Batgirl strut and softly called Terry over to the broken plane.

After thirty minutes Keiko of tinkering the motor suggested to Terri that the old engine could be repaired in about a week or so...

That duo went over to Adam and Keiko said "Terri and I agree that given a week one mechanic could fix what ails the old girl. My brother Ted owns a similar motor that he has been meaning to find a home for five years and the motors could be smitched around."

Having said that she switched gears and frowned at her ass getting slapped in public. She then walked slowly with military precision back over to the plane.

Keiko then zoned and then for thirty more minutes a closer inspection of the plane was done.

Terri suggested no one should touch Keiko, get too close to or speak to her.

Keiko finished her inspection, liquids poured out of places folks didn't know existed and a few other things were replaced. Several liquids were changed in the next thirty minutes.

The plane was started up and sputtered to life after fifteen more minutes  .. And hot pockets and soda were forced upon Keiko ..

Some of this security footage went missing later ..

Keiko swore in English and angrily hit five spots on the cockpit's various instrument panels a la an 80 TV series called Riptide ..
Keiko angrily chomped on several twizzlers as the motor was turned off and on and panels were hit and ... Keiko fell out of the pilot's chair she was sitting in .. and the engine ...

Adam clapped his hands and hollered out a happy,"Huzzah!"

First you see her...now you don't..."Are you alright hon?"

After Keiko walked off the plane Adam walked around the plane with his hand rubbing the cool, smooth metal.
He met Keiko and Terry at the door and said"Ain't she a beaut? Oh she is going to look beautiful. She's going t be painted a shiny pink with flakes of gold in the paint and her name is going to be called the Pink Panther and we will have a plane reveal once everything is fixed and working perfectly. She has to be running better than 100%."

Keiko had walked off for around fifteen minutes ..

She had grabbed a large chicken parm sub, a lg m&m cookie, a water and a small cloth shopping bag that held a box from her bro, Ted.

She said to Adam "I took another fifteen minute break, Boss. And I am alright."

She also smiled a little at all her co-workers

Adam waved his hand in the air as if he is dismissing it. "Ahh shoot Keiko as long as we are not busy and you don't have any kind of repairs you can do work in your office if you like. And if there are parts you need look them up and bring me the list and I'll contact the warehouse people...but you know come to think about it...maybe I'll give give that responsibility to you, because there will be days I won't be here and you may need a rush part and you can order it yourself from now on. How's that sound? And since I'm making you my  assistant you get a $1.00 raise oh and that 5,000 coming to y'all should be in your account right now check as if not there just let me know, ok?,"

She walked out to the Lunch Truck that comes out on Fridays. Adam chose a BBQ pulled beef sandwich, a bag of chips and a peach cobbler

He looked at Keiko who was eyeballing his food...
Innocently he said,"What? Trust me I will still be hungry for my birthday meal tonight. Now do you want anything to go with that dry chicken Parm Sammie?"

Keiko showed Adam the Marinara sauce, lettuce and cheese on her sammie.

Keiko said "I'm fine as is at this moment, Adam."

Keiko grabbed Adam's keys from his hip then opened up Adam's truck and the duo hopped in to talk when Adam got his food ... "Adam, you might want to clear your mouth .. 15 14 13 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 .. Ted gifted me a few boxes of condoms and accessories. And before you say a thing ...the gift could have been given way to early. And feel free to bash my bros heads together if you're angry at all. I may rip one or both of my bros new assholes if I get grumpy. We can talk about me to order parts .. Perhaps I can transition a little slower into your assistant. Or you've listened to whomever who foisted me onto you er vetted me with. As for the five grand ... perhaps next bonus should be a coupla hundred or maybe a grand for me. Keiko smirked / frowned .. She was more neutral and not pissed .. She unzipped her jumpsuit an inch and handed Adam the keys so he could turn on the AC.

Keiko then munched on her sandwich slowly to keep her mouth from not allowing more words to escape.

She then sipped her unfortunately alcohol free cola.

Adam was a little taken. Back by the gift.
"I'm not angry about the gift and I understand that he wants to make sure that you are safe when you have sex ad I all for being safe..but have given you how I feel about us having sex right now. Considering that we literally just got together I don't think it's a good idea for us to have sex right now. I don't think we are ready for that kind of commitment. And I'm a little hurt that you keep bringing it up especially after you know how I feel about it." He laid his  head back on the dress rest.
He thought ; ,man I sure hope for a stiff drink and a  cigarette. Oh wait I got something even better:(,,your decision Keiko heard his thoughts or not.)

He leaned over, practically in her lap ashe opened the glove box, he dug  around a few minutes then said'",Yes I found it."

He rolled over and then looked up at Keiko's face,"You are so beautiful." He raised up and kissed Keiko then sat up on his side of the truck and started the truck to help cool Keiko.

Keiko didn't know what Adam had found that was better .. and the box was stuffed into a bag in the back of the cab. She was perplexed as to what Adam was looking for in the glove box and what Adam was thinking of that had escaped her notice.

Keiko sat back in the front seat and was kissed a second later.

Keiko kissed Adam back and said "Sorry about Ted's gift .. warning .. don't say anything to that .. and yes it is too early for sex and I'm sorry all that hurt you ... we should get our jobs for the day done and so forth ... I'll see you inside in a few. And thank you for praising my beauty."

She started to open her door and begin to get ready to touch earth.

She zipped up her jumpsuit ... and then put her sandwich in her mouth ...

Adam touched Keiko's back,"I'm sorry I don't want you to think that I don't want to have sex with you... Because I do. I just don't want us to rush things. Adam really hoped he wasnt sounding crazy to her because he felt like he was.

Keiko smiled, nodded, zipped up her jumpsuit then hopped out of the truck and normally and hurriedly walked into the main office.

Terry watched Keiko hurry away as he approached Adam "When you first read selected bits of Keiko's work history, I figured she was going to be a burden on us. Glad I was wrong."

Anne [T's wife] walked up and held out a hand and Terry gave her $100.

Anne looked surprised and said "The bet was $50."

Terry said "Interest."

Anne smirked and put away the cash and then sauntered away.

Terry smiled and said "Let's get this workday done with, old buddy."

Adam had to ask,"I know I Will probably regret asking this but what was the bet about?"

Adam and Terry walked to the main office and to Adam's office.
Asm poured himself a cup of coffee while he waited for the answer.

Terry said "Bet was that I didn't believe that this random woman would work out. Sadly, a couple of Asian mechanics in a row which I worked with were too eccentric imho. Off topic ..  so what are you planning to do to start to bring your hovel into the twentieth century?"

Adam shook his head and finished off his coffee, "She's a damn hard worker that is a perfectionist just like me."

Adam made ares pot of coffee and plopped a suckerin his mouth, "Man earlier I wanted a cigarette and a stiff drink but I did find a can of skoal in my glove box, I put it in my bag just in case I need it."

He bit down on the sucker and chewed it up then washed it down with a fresh cup of java.

Adam made a face, "Dude you haven't seen my place since I bought it three years ago then disappeared for 2 years. Everything is up to code and all the modern conveniences that any bachelor or newly married woman would want in her house. The Ranch is a perfect place to live. You and Anne need to bring yo' yungins Todd And Chrissy swimming and grilling at Uncle Adam's Ranch."

Hikuru put her things away and sat down behind the desk. Martha walked in, "Oh I'm glad you made it. So we will start by going over all the account books then go from there."

Hikuru nodded her head, she was ready to dive right in.

Adam walked in carrying two trays of coffee from Seven Brothers Coffee. He sat them down on the table and handed a. Frappe to Martha then kissed her cheek, he handed Hikuru a white chocolate mocha frappe , which made her smile. He whispered, "A little birdie told me.," referring to Keiko
He kissed her cheek and then took the rest of the coffees in the trays to his office where he started working and drinking 6 large cups of coffee.

Hikuru looked up when Keiko walked in, "Hi baby does Adam always drink so much coffee,? '

Keiko had just texted to her bf You are so sexy, Adam. And I wish we were married already ..

Keiko frowned a little and looked at the mom "Adam enjoys his coffee. I'd like to talk to him about limiting his intake soon."

She switched gears, smiled a little, sat down in a comfy chair and said "Is your office and job agreeing with you, mom?"

Hikuru nodded her head, "Yes I think that the job is going to be a piece of cake once I get it on a system that actually runs more proficiently. Right now i have seen a few descrepencies that won't look good on audits. But I will have them taken care of by the end of the day and will have saved the company a couple of millions of dollars... Possibly in the companies favor. I'll take care of it when Martha goes to lunch. She said her husband is picking her up at 10:30 and won't be back until after 1. That will give me plenty of time to correct all the books and ledgers. And arrange all appointments so that he will actually know when he has a customer. And I'm going to set up the tablets that he bought for just that occasion and for communication. You will see just how proficient the office will run in a few days. Hikuru walked away and headed back to the main office where she found Martha sitting on the sofa eating donuts and drinking coffee. She shrugged and sat down behind the desk and started fixing all the problems that Martha had caused, over looked and had no clue what in the world she was doing other than answering the phones and half ass take messages.

Terry found the big boss as Adam was locking the door to his office.

Terry handed Adam a jewelry box which contained a pair of biplane earrings.

Terry said "I hope Keiko will enjoy these, boss. I saw these earrings after you said to me that you wanted simple ideas for a pressie for her. By the way, I've sent you some info ..  the Lone Star Flight Museum needs aid with projects like a Fokker DR.I triplane that has seen better days. We need to put in our request to aid the museum by a week from this Friday."

Terry soon left the scene and Adam took a moment to think .....

A few moments later, Keiko sent a text that reads I love you .. its getting hard to wait for our wedding night before we are fully intimate. By the by .. you are so sexy. See you in a few moments. By the way, I'm going to make you some Korean snacks before bed.

Karl said goodbye to the wife and daughter and hopped in the car with Kevin ....

Adam smiled as he looked at earrings. "Aww man these are perfect. Thanks. I'll pay ya back in your check." He nodded as Terry told him about their next project, something to think about not like he doesn't have the money to do it but he will think about it.
His phone went off, he dug in jacket pocket and pulled his phone out and read the text. He smiled put a Dum Dum sucker in his mouth, he could really go for a cigarette right about now.
He wrote his soon to be wife,

Just locking the door, got a business opportunity from Terry just now, gonna think about it. Oh I can't wait until we are married so I can ravish your body. Ohhhh yummy Korean Snacks. I can't wait. Ok I will see you in a few meet me at the truck in love you.
Adam hit send and dropped his phone back in his pocket.
He said goodbye to Martha and handed her an envelope with her retirement fund in it. She looked inside and squealed, "Oh Adam are you sure about this?"
Adam smiled and nodded his head, "Yes now have fun in Boca."
Martha and her hubby drove away.
Adam walked over to Keiko and hugged her then opened the door for her then got in himself..

The duo drove over to the hub.

Keiko entered the main hangar and went into her office and closed the door behind her.

She sat down at her desk, turned on her desk fan and took some shots into a plastic bucket [placed on her desk] with a few mini foam balls.

She decided to log onto her work desktop, took off the light jacket she wore, refreshed her light make-up then quickly nodded off until someone came to find her.

Adam heads to his office and eats his lunch, drinks almost a pot of coffee while making a few business calls.
He sits back and thinks about their doctors appointments and wonders if Keiko will go through with the surgery after they get married.

Keiko woke up thirty minutes later and yawned ....

She checked if there was anything pressing on her computer ... She grabbed a box of cooks from her desk.

She smiled as a main portion of her workload was taken care of by Terry.

She checked where her future hubby was, checked her hair and make up, secured and turned off her computer, secured her office and knocked on Adam's door.

Keiko then cheerfully called out "Can I interest you in some Girl Scout cookies, sir?"
