She had a devious smile," I told you that you two were going to get married and you both said oh no we're just friends. Friends my Great Aunt Fannie. I'm happy for you little one. You were happy then and you are happy now and you will continue being happy in the future."

She raised her glass,"To Adam and Keiko may their happiness bring lots of babies to spoil and love." Everyone said," Here here."

Adam smiled and clicked his glass to Keiko's and said,"To us and our happiness." He kissed her cheek then grandfather said,"Let's eat!"

They watched on a monitor the bulk of the other folks fraternize in the dining area nearby.

Karl tenderly cupped both of his wife's cheeks in turn and then Hikuru was given a kiss on her forehead ..

When Hikuru took a breath, she was smiled at, and Karl said "I am amazed that Adam and Kiki have so much in common. And I am so happy to be a perfect fit for you, Hikuru ."

Karl smirked and said "Off topic, if my wife has nothing planned the next two days, I'd like to whisk her away to somewhere reasonably close. We'll head out between ten am and noon tomorrow. If plans have been made, we will go on the expedition the next possible day."

Karl then softly said "I love you Hikuru Forster ... and thank you for being the glue that keeps our family together."

Why don't we go to Colorado and go skiing in the mountains? We can rent that sweet little cabin up there and ski in the day time and sit in the hot tub at night." She raised her brows at Karl hoping she can sway him to want to go.

Karl rolled his eyes as he could tell his wife was using her wiles to *con* him into agreeing to a skiing trip.

Karl pulled out his cell and called to arrange for time at the Colorado cabin plus two travel days [which included tomorrow] ...

The couple would leave Texas on Tuesday.

Karl smiled as he saw that this plan was 'acceptable' with the wife ....

Karl said "There was no reason for to stay close for our trip .. it was just a random suggestion. I figured you'd strongly suggest where you wished to go if I had no firm direction in mind. I also figured you are Jonesing to go skiing judging by the scent you are wearing."

Karl locked lips with Hikuru's luscious ones after gently pulling her head and body to his.

Kev entered the room and watched the parents talk and kiss.

Kev smiled a little and said to his mother when she needed a breather "Mom, is there anything that Ted, Keiko and I need to do at Chez Forster while you guys are skiing?"

Adam sipped on a glass of ice tea and said,"It's ok sweetheart. I know you are a little self conscious about it and I don't want you to be. I want every body to see your beautiful face at our wedding. Did you hear that? Our wedding... Sounds wild doesn't it?"
When she asked about work he looked at he and cleared his throat and came back to reality.
"It's pretty light this week. You have Bill Palmers plane to work on in hanger?" He stood up and walked over to his briefcase. He hadn't planned on this being a working meeting but he guessed he was wrong.
He turned around and said,"Since all the new hangers passed inspection yesterday and I got a A in the inspection. So Bill's plane in hanger 10, Terry will be in hanger 7 working on Jerry Caldwell's plane. I have a flight Tuesday to Kansas and back Wednesday after. So inventory and clean up Wednesday Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday I need a once over on my plane Black Beauty... I'm taking her out to Shreveport Friday coming back and coming home I don't know Saturday or maybe Sunday... "
He waits until she looks at him and gives him that Keiko look then he lets out a chuckle and said," What day do you want to come back? Saturday or Sunday?"

Keiko then looked at Adam in a different way .. this time she was semi-deep in thought.

She stopped thinking and said "So .. I have the project in Hangar 10 on Tuesday, and you'll be in Kansas on Tuesday and Wednesday. There'll then be three days of taking stock of things and I'd like to come back on Sunday. Perhaps I can take the controls of Black Beauty at some point. Off topic .. while I was grabbing some of our better sake, I texted my mom and queried if she would be interested if any jobs opened up at the hub. Perhaps I shouldn't have typed anything."

She sipped her Sake and cheered up a little when Adam answered her then she said "Did you have any dates in mind for our wedding? Perhaps near my birthday unless you have a lot of business scheduled before all the students go back to school and college."

She put down the duos' drinks, used breath spray, hugged Adam and gave the man she loved a passionate kiss.

He thought about it a minute,"Do I want your mother to know everything about my business?Did you forget that I have an office manager and that would be the only position that would be opened... And well if you two can get along I don't see why she can't be hired for the job that is if the job isn't beneath her. Oh and Mrs. Lenders is leaving us. Her husband just got mandatory retired and they are moving to Boca Raton, Florida... This week. So we will need her... Monday so she can be trained about the business. Do emphasize her need. Hikuru looked at Karl,"We put our vacay off for a week because we don't have long to get the best Japanese Wedding anyone could ever imagine. I wonder if Madame Mimisiku is still catering weddings. She is great at last minute events. I'll call her." A small squeal can be heard from Hikuru as she reached in her purse and grabbed the wrong phone and cut a look to Karl then tossed the phone back in her back and grabbed her phone and dialed Mimisiku the two began to talk like old friends. As Hikuru completely walked away from Karl, throwing daggers at him with her eyes.

Adam looked at Keiko"I thought I would hire your mother. I think she would be an asset for my company. What do you think? Text her tell she can start Monday, be there  at 8 so we can get the paperwork and job performance and start her training. And we can start the. We can get with her on her lunch break to discuss our wedding."

He pulled her close, whispered,"I love you soon to be Mrs Adam Newman.,"

Adam and Keiko went to find her parents.
Adam thought he would ask her personally instead over a text.

Hikuru finished her conversation and turned with a smile, "Alright everything will be arranged by Madame Mimisiku. And since this is such short notice we will go in and be fitted for our attire for the day but her and her staff will make Kikis dress for her. She will contact Forever Flowers to take care of all of the arrangements. Now that is done postpone our vacation for two weeks then you can explain to me why Brenda Sue is texting you again and leaving messages like, yesterday was so much fun baby we have to find time to do it again and without your wife knowing about it. And leaving 20 text messages and no I didn't open up but one of them but I counted them. I thought you ended it with her last year. That is why we went through all that counseling. Dont answer me now wait until we get home. Today is the children's day.

Adam and Keiko walked in, you could cut the tension with a knife.

Adam asked,"Our we interrupting anything?"

Hikuru smiled, "No I was just tell Daddy the good news. I got Madame Mimisiku to arrange the whole wedding clothing and all. Her and her staff are going to make your dress. We have to all go in tomorrow to be fitted and get your thoughts on your design for a traditional Japanese wedding dress. And Forever Flowers are doing the arrangements they just need your colors."

Adam smiled, "Well that is fabulous news. Makes what I was going to ask you small. But here goes. I would like to hire you to come work for me in the office as my executive assistant, you will run the office and take care of my books. And if you accept my offer I would like for you to start your train this week with Mrs.Lainards and so she would know all the accounts. If that's possible. Then we would go from there. Well what do you say? "

She nodded her head,"That would be just fine. I would love it. Thank you."

Keiko mentioned the doctor's appointment ... and the fitting would be scheduled around that .. and then she mentioned her work schedule and the planned flight later in the week ...

Soon it is time for bed for our duo ...

Keiko was showered and freshly dressed in a set of parrothead pjs and no underclothes ...

She had a tailored casual suit hanging up and ready to wear in the morning.

She held Adam tight and gave him a few XX kisses...

Keiko then said in a slightly elevated voice ... "What are 'our colors', Adam? Perhaps two complimentary colors on a tunic or some such over a white dress for me or a two color dress .. perhaps purple will work?"

If you want your girls to wear purple then I think that would be lovely. I would like it if you could have a I don't a swatch of material from what I'm wearing sewed into your gown somewhere would be really cool. If you don't mind."

Adam was wearing pajama bottoms, of course he had on underwear, he knew being next to Keiko he needed to wear them. He had a suit hanging up on his closet door.
He looked at Keiko, "You are so beautiful, did you know this? How in the hell did I get do damn lucky to fall in love with you?"

Keiko smiled and looked narrowly at her soon to be husband ..

She softly said "Adam .. You talked to a woman you barely knew about common interests, you looked past her scarring, found her beautiful, was fascinated that she spoke like a BBC drama reject [she chuckled], you said you'd keep her safe .. all these things and more intrigued her and led to you falling in love with me .. odds are I didn't have to actually have to answer your query."

She smirked, shrugged and gave Adam's bod a once over and then looked into his eyes "Uhm ... Did you want me to keep to my side of the bed a lot more when we go to sleep until we wed? We can roll in a single bed. By the way .. you remind me of a Greek god's statue. And yeah I know I'm beautiful .. my future, very attractive hubby calls me that about twenty times a day." [she blushed and paused to think]

She then said "Uhm .. just thought of this ... as far as the wedding attire, I'd love to go with the purple dress color scheme with my bridesmaids wearing lighter shades .. mauve or thistle, maybe .... or perhaps a green between light and medium. Oh, I love the swatch idea you mentioned."

Adam wasn't held right now but was given a long, passionate kiss on his lips ..

Keiko frowns as she has to urinate ..

She hurries off to pee without her charging phone and she gets a text ..

The text tone is Top Gun Anthem

It takes a moment for Adam to remember the that the tone belongs to a Squadron mate named Robert Franklin who calls Keiko every few months to check in ..

Robert and Keiko dated while in the service but drifted apart [no plan for an NPC here] ..

Adam is also reminded of the fact that Keiko's nickname in the service was Swiftlet.

Keiko had to go pee Adam sat up and picked up a book he was reading called the Spare by Prince Harry. His mother recommended it. He heard her phone go off and figured she would be in there awhile talking to her old AF friend.

Keiko picked up the phone and called Robert ..

They talked for ten minutes ...

The call was ended and Keiko curled up in Adam's arms.

Adam was tenderly kissed on his lips then Keiko said "I guess tomorrow you and I are going to make a list of people we wish to invite t0 the wedding."

Adam was then kissed at the bottom of his neck and behind bis ears then Keiko pulled her head up ... she then spoke in Japanese "Adam, to me you do not look like an egghead .. simple. ... To me you are a sexy Adonis who has treated me beyond well."

Adam he didn't care that she had a conversation with her old friend and why Keiko thought it was necessary to call him in front of him he would never figure it out nor would be ask her.

He gently rubbed her back as they kissed.. he licked his lips, licking the lip gloss taste that was left on his lips, a taste he has grown find of thanks to Keiko.

Adam blinked a couple of times saying to himself,(back to reality dude,)

"Oh yeah I guess we do need to invite people." He chuckled.
"How many are we allowed to invite? And if it's ok I would like my mom and siblings to be to be dressed in the Traditional Outfits too. I'll pay for my mother's dress and I already have Q's we just need to get Selma's measurements and get her dress, and I didn't want my dad to feel snubbed I got him something to wear... Damn I guess we gotta include Zoe in the wedding party because she is family. But I'll pay for the 3 females if need be."

Adam thought a minute,"Did I ask how many are we allowed to invite? I may invite some clients that would give us kickass gifts but would appreciate being invited. Do we give each other gifts in front of everyone because if we do I know the perfect gift to give you."

Adam closed his eyes as Keiko kissed on him, he can see now that once they are married and are allowed to have sex... He won't get any sleep.

He smiled at her, he didn't want to tell her that he understood her. He simply said," I love you my precious plum.'

Keiko yawned and smiled at her engagement ring and blushed when she was called a precious plum.

She then looked over at Adam when she got her mom's text and then smiled more.

Adam was told "My mother texted that all is well at House Forster and that she is thankful again for the employment opportunity [and Adam was filled in on the skiing holiday]."

She smiled even more when her scar was softly touched by Adam.. and she rubbed her head against his hand.

She then said "It will be so nice to find out if my scar can be dealt with tomorrow, darling"

Adam was then given a long, tender kiss meant to curl his toes .. and she put a hand on Adam's heart ..

The rest of Adam's chest [except for the nipples] was gingerly touched by her other hand ...

Keiko suddenly said in a firm voice "I have some ideas for a gift for you and I'd like to trade pressies at our wedding, Adam. As far as how many people we can invite ... we should ask my parents what venue they are going to use. And I will pay half your costs for your family's clothing even if I have to sneak the money back to you in the future."

When Keiko kissed him Adam could feel his heart beat fast,extremely fast, faster than normal.
She placed her hand on his chest his breathing became labored, as he thought his heart was going to explode.
Adam smiled., as he thought of the perfect gift for his beloved wife to be.
"Exchanging presents would be great sweetheart and I promise the gift I give you will not embarrass you. And you are too late about paying for my families clothing... I've already paid for it and Mom's, that woman dad is unhappily married to and  Selma is already arranged with Madame Mimisiku and she was happy with the money that was offered. So how about the money you wanted to spend on half of my side of the family wedding attire, spend it on our Honeymoon. You can pay half and I'll pay the other half and we can go wherever you want to go and I will fly us there in my private plane. What do you think?"

Adam took Keiko's hands in his and kissed them , looking in her eyes as he does this.

Keiko seriously looked at Adam then said in her oh so proper British tone "Adam .. We'll share costs then and I'd rather neither of us fly us to the location I choose so we can relax.  As to said location .. perhaps Disney World or Disney Land. Perhaps we can fly a commercial flight to the location and arrange to deliver a plane back to Texas. And perhaps we can each fly half the return flight."

Her facial expression became softer and she smiled "I love you."

Keiko wrapped herself around Adam [as tight as he would allow] and kissed him until breathing was required ..
