Karl spoke in [Standard] Japanese "Before you mention my insatiable need for intercourse at horrible hours .. our daughter, Adam Newman and a few others had an altercation at the Newman ranch. Everyone is safe and we will be able to see the film of the event later this morning. I have not called for a driver so we can go over to the Newman's place. They do not know the overall reason for the attack if there was one. We can go to the airfield or the Newman ranch when its light out."

Karl held Hikuru and risked a Gibbsing or worse by touching a G Spot of hers.

Alternately she may want to snuggle and or kiss OR call for a driver right then and there.

Karl said before the duo did 'anything' "I'll go tell Kev and Ted what happened first tho."

Karl yawned, got pjs, gave the 'boys' the news and went back to Hikuru.

At roughly the same time Keiko was microwaving the manicotti in Houston, Karl and Hikuru were sitting on a sofa in their bedroom.

They were sipping cold, sweet tea and watching the storm while snuggling.

Karl spoke in English "Ted and I were hanging up some of Keiko's costumes earlier. During a break we looked at pictures of Keiko's Academy days. Our daughter looked so smart in her formal uniform. I will never forget how you had to talk to her about how fearful her scar might look to insensitive folks and how she wanted all her extra body hair gone the day before graduating."

Karl smiled "And I looked lovingly at pics of you in your [Japan Air Self-Defense Force] uniform watching Keiko .... and Ted smirked in my direction."

Hikuru laid her head on her husband's shoulder.

Karl brought up Keiko's scar Hikuru replied with,"Yes, she did have problems coping with having the scar. It took her some time and a few sessions with Dr Woodrow but I was so happy when she finally accepted herself as a person again. She knew she wasn't a monster anymore. I do owe that to Dr.Woodrow. She was there for our Keiko when she wouldn't accept help from anyone else. But now look at her. She is bright, beautiful, a mechanical genius, sweetest, kindest person, a good sister and  the most honorable daughter anyone could ask for."

Karl kissed the wife tenderly then said "So, our Keiko is likely having her first real date .. what are your thoughts?"

Karl then admired Hikuru's chest via the little light available and obviously wondered if she was interested in more sex tonight.

Hikuru wagged her finger,"Oh no she hasn't had a first date yet. Like I said she is honorable she will have hi ask permission if he can date our daughter first. And him doing that will show him Adam honorable man too." She would be glad when the electricity would come back on, this storm was a bad one, she is getting hot and doesn't want skin to skin touches.

She sighed,"No sweetheart it's to damn hot for anymore sex tonight."

Before Karl could comment... Hiruku's Facebook messenger went off, she leaned over and picked up her laptop and they began having a conversation with their daughter then with Adam...then she said a couple of things to Keiko in Japanese then the call ended and she logged off of Facebook then her laptop to save her battery.

She looked at Karl,"He is a very sweet young man and you did seem to get along with him when he came over for dinner the other night. And if they make each other happy then they should be together. I'll just put my friend Hoshana in Japan a little bit longer, you know just to see where this goes, but if it goes South her son, Kerioku, is a lawyer in L.A. and we can arrange for them to meet."

Hiruku is also known as a matchmaker...

Karl smiled and spoke in Japanese "Hikuru, dear ... if the relationship goes south we might not want to be ready so soon to suggest a new relationship."

Some time later we come back up to the couple laying on the bed with no clothes and no covers having just made love in the heat of a black out.

Hikuru said,"What you said earlier about if things go South in their relationship...she will have to move on...I'll give her some time to warm up to the idea but remember they don't call me a Match Maker for nothing."
She leaned over and gave Karl a kiss and got out of bed and slipped on her robe,"I'm going for a sandwich, I'll bring you back one too." She smiled and as she opened the door the electricity came back on.

Karl said to his wife in Japanese before she exited "I'm going to strip the bed before you return and shower after. If you want we can watch a few episodes of one of those South Korean action shows on Netflix when we're relaxed ... and yes you can caustic comment on them."

Hikuru returned with sandwiches and a bottle of wine and 2 glasses on a cart. She sighed, she should have known he wouldn't put fresh sheets on the bed nor pick up the old ones.
She hurriedly out fresh sheets on the bed and remade it with the Summer blanket, fresh pillow cases as well. She grabbed a night gown and panties from her dresser and went to the hall and took a shower then dried off and got dressed, picking up the dirty clothes from the boys she put in the hamper and the dirty towels she put in the washing machine but didn't start yet. She entered the bedroom and shook her head, "he must have had to use the bathroom or had to call his mother to see if she is alright in the nursing home."

A memory of a four year old Keiko was that she was a GIRL and very into everything .. and took the rest of the family awhile to convince Keiko that dresses weren't the only choice of clothes that could be worn 365/24/7.

That 4 year old was a stubborn little shit and refused to wear another dress after we convinced her she couldn't sleep in one until she became a freshman. And she was 5 and she cut all of that beautiful hair off. Giving the excuse if she can't wear dresses she doesn't need long hair. She takes after you being so stubborn." Hikuru held up a pillow to bock anything Karl may playfully throw at her for saying that comment. Everyone knew that Keiko was just like Hikuru.

When Keiko turned four, Hikuru and the 'kids' became a very tight family within the family ...

This was when Hikuru realized that she was truly the mother of three and Kev and Ted figured out that they were responsible for their mother and sister ...

This was when Karl's life was made slightly easier .. as the hole in his heart due to the loss of his first wife [Corrine] began to heal greatly....

Back in 2023 ... Karl thought of these facts then gave Hikuru a series of different kisses right after she touched his chest after calling him stubborn ..

He immediately said "And then Keiko grew up more and decided she was going to follow her brothers into the Air Force and proclaimed that short hair was safer to have."

She got up and got dressed for the day,"Don't forget you have that meeting with Grant if the creek dont rise and you can get him away from that Zoe girl. Why on earth did he have to get involved with her and leave Caroline. He didn't know that he had a good thing until he lost it. E everytime I see them two together he looks miserable. All she does is do Yoga, teach Yoga and spend his money. And it was Caroline that taught school and worked at J.C. Penneys to put him through College to get his business degree and how does he repay her? Get involved with his secretary who doesn't know the first thing about typing. Poor Caroline."

"Oh no I haven't heard from Keiko and Adam, the boys came home around midnight from Karen Hutchins graduation party, so they are safely home. I was going to watch the weather channel to see the weather up in Houston to see if it was still storming down there and they are still stranded. Hopefully she will call me in a few minutes and let me know if they can make it back or not. And I would love for us to go out tonight, just me and my Prince Charming and we don't have to go to a Hotel we have our beautiful home here and the boys have another grad party but it's out of town, this time it's for Luke Gary. So unless Keiko comes home today we will have the house to ourselves...all by our naked selves." She gave Karl a kiss and gently pulled on his bottom lip when she pulled back and whispered,"I love you Karl Forster."

History lesson: At the age of twelve, Keiko had a phase where she wanted to 'fit in vocally' with the men in her family not to mention she got bullied for her accent. A therapist / vocal coach helped Keiko to get through this time in her life.

Every so often, when bored, Keiko watches hours of stuff and practices so she doesn't forget her lessons .

We discussed friendships .. he gave me friendly hugs ... we watched Food Network on cable then The Last Boy Scout on dvd and then we each slept on one half a bed because there was only the one was available .. and I wouldn't force a friend to lay on a floor. Adam was a perfect gent."

She looked down and frowned .. she said "Adam just texted  me '"we are stuck here another day due to heavy fog and another storm rolling in"'

She looked up "You and dad stay safe .. love you both."

She saw Adam move in her general direction ...

Mom listened to Keiko"You only got convenience store food? You didn't go out to eat for lunch or dinner? B
How did you do with the storm itself sweety?" Hikuru heard it storming there and a big clap of thunder hit and she saw Keiko jump and reach out for something.
Adam appeared instantly and put his arms around her and can be heard saying,"It's ok hon. It's just thunder, it can't hurt you. I'm here to protect you."

This made Hikuru smile,"Alright sweety I'm going to, good morning Adam, take care of my girl." Adam bent down. "Yes ma'am I promise I will."

"I love you KiKi bye." She ended the call.

"We have some of the Lasagna I made in there and there that beef stew we can eat too. I dont know if the boys are going to the Grad party or not but they probably are, you know them, they get in the big Escalade and go on down the hill. Keiko and Adam are stuck in Houston because it's pretty bad down there. So I'm all yours... regardless. Oh this massage is so needed. Oh did I tell you that I was offered a job by the Frazzel Company?"

Karl thought for a moment then said "That's great and what is the Frazzel Company and what position did you apply for?"

Karl didn't ask if H was investigating someone or something.

"They are the major oil company in Tyler. And I applied for Chief Fincisl Officer. But the President of the company himself called me and told me that he would rather me be is VP instead. I told him that I would have to think about it and talk to you about it and would get back to him in a couple of days."

 She looked at Karl,"So what do you think?"

"I'll call Kyle and let him know. And FYI I already called David Moriarty about it and he vouched for him, he has been looking for a VP since his daughter got married and left the company 4 months ago." She smiled at Karl, "See you are married to a smart cookie."

Hikuru was handed the box of photos as Karl said "KiKi mentioned a few costumes she wanted to make with [her best GF] Heather including an updated Princess one for a future con or she mentioned buying one. Perhaps instead .. I was thinking .. you two can go as characters from the same anime. You should talk to her ASAP. Or perhaps you can go as a Catwoman and her as a Batgirl .. I can go as the a Dark Knight."

As far as me taking off,"We will see when the time comes,"It's not until the end of Summer. And it's just May."


I did a time jump yep a while year but Sally is still doing the tour, and Lil E is fixing to celebrate her first birthday once they come back from their vacay. which means no more breast feeding. cups only.

Hikuru raised her glass as her beloved husband proposed a toast,"And here is to the man that's kisses still to this day curls my toes. The man that excites me even more than chocolate does, and that is saying a lot. Karl my love thank you for coming into my life, turning it upside down and topsy turvy I wouldn't have it any other way."
They clinked glasses and began eating...

The cat let out a big burp and a big fur ball plopped out of his mouth and onto the table, which sent sending Hikuru running to the bathroom gagging until she made it their, then all you can hear is her throwing up and her cussing Mr Fujioma in Japanese.
She came out of the bathroom and slid down the wall outside the bathroom."I hate that damn cat."

Hikuru walked in pushing a cart with. Baked Alaska on it. She poured rum over it and lit it up, like you are suppose to do. Once the flames go out she cut them both a piece and sat down to eat their dessert.
"I hope you like it. I saw Martha Stewart do it so I knew I could too." She smiled and took a bite and it tasted wonderful. Even better than what she thought it would taste. She was very pleased with herself. She waited for Karl's reaction...

Karl called Hikuru's new boss "Hello [ ], this is Hikuru Forster's husband Karl. I apologize for the call in the middle of this storm. Perhaps, I should not contact you this manner. I am feeling that Mrs. Forster will be needing a reminder that she is a great executive. You may want to surprise her by having her lead a meeting two seconds after she punches in on her first day."

He went off to hide to suggest some hardballs to toss her at any meeting .. and one or two surprises.

The men hung up ... Karl retuned to his wife and tasted the desert then he effected the vocal mannerisms of a Food Network host and also used a salt shaker as a microphone "Well, Hikuru .. earlier today your breakfast menu was acceptable and edible but the toast was dry as a poor vintage of sherry... lunch was better .. much tetter but sadly you had to improvise when your fuzzy houseguest tripped you up but the replacement general tsau chicken with rice was a crowd pleaser .. and now the baked Alaska ... a 9.9 rating .. oops a perfect 10."

Karl had to stop and drink some water.

She slowly laid her phone down and looked at Karl,"What Did You Do? Why Did You Do it? Who Do You Think You Are? How Dare You Call My Boss And Tell Him you are feeling that Mrs. Forster will be needing a reminder that she is a great executive. She was stressing every word that she enunciated to him. She only did this when she was mad.

She got real quiet after saying her peace, she then we t to the kitchen coming back with another bottle of wine and went to the bedroom and slammed the door as hard as she could, knocking down the picture hanging off the wall.

Hikuru is doing housework this day.... She has polished all the silverware, bleached and waxed all the floors and steamed cleaned the furniture and carpets as well as cleaned the kids rooms, stripped their beds and they all have brand new sheets on their beds.
She left a message for Karl on his phone"Hello my darling papa bear. I love you come home to your mama bear. I miss you."
She put her phone in her pocket and put a old jazz record on and danced around the living room.

Kev clean out the grill for your father, you know he is the number one grill master in this house." She walked over to Karl and kissed his cheek then went back inside, yelling out,"Ted come help me prepare the food."

The doorbell rang cuz of a delivery   ...  Karl then came into the kitchen bearing a bouquet of eight roses.

When Hikuru read the attached card it said Darling Hikuru,  I love you am sorry ... and after our dinner the other day my plan was to ask you if you would like to formally renew our marriage vows perhaps with a condensed Japanese ceremony soon.

Hikuru was making potato salad when Keiko walked in and announced that Karl told her to take a shower. Hikuru hugged her daughter,"Then off ya scoot and get your shower, we have family and friends coming soon." She waited for KiKi to turn around and she swatted her ass and laughed.

When Karl brought the 8 roses into the kitchen it warmed her heart so much she said in Japanese,"Oh darling thank you. They are beautiful, let me put them in a vase." Hearing the need about saying  their vows her face lit up,"Really? I would love to do the whole Japanese wedding. Oh Karl...thank you, you know how much this means so much to me. And to do it like a traditional Japanese Wedding. I'm thrilled and tickled pink. I think we should do it on our 25th wedding anniversary."

Hikuru shook her head,"Oh my little Teddy Bear, you have always been the sweetest boy, always taking care of Mama H and I love you for it. No I'll be just fine, your dad and I are working through it. I think he realized what he did was a mistake and hopefully he won't get so full of himself that he won't do that again if I am ever offered something like that again. And no I haven't talked to your sister about her and Adam, at least not yet.  I want to see the two together first, you know to see if their union is worth it or not. It takes a Master at Match Making to see these things and you know your Mama H can do it and even read between the lines. That's how I know that Marcia girl isn't right for you. Hikuru opened up one of her china cabinets, she had 4 of them, one set for each child after she passed away. They use the dishes that were suppose to go to Aaron quite often at dinner parties. She stood there a minute looking at Aaron's dishes then closed the cabinet door then went to her rather large walk in pantry and pulled out a package of plates, plastic cutlery and glasses and a package of napkins. She took them outside and started getting the picnic table together. Table cloth, napkins, plates, cutlery, and glasses.

We switch to fifteen minutes before start time and Keiko and Adam had talked about various things as they helped Mama H with stuff .. the front doorbell rings and Adam is faced with Hikuru's father and mother.

Adam discussed his line of work to Keiko's grandfather. He tried to stump Adam about the different kinds of airplanes, giving him the wrong years and different wars the planes were used in on purpose just to see what he knew and of course Adam passed with flying colors.

Of course grandmother wanted to know how they met so Keiko had to explain everything.

Keiko smiled at Adam then looked over at Hikuru who looked neutrally at her guests.

She adjusted her kimono as Hikaru watched more activity.

Keiko looked at beer her gma had and remembered having too many of the same brand at poker games during her usaf years ...

Grandmother sat quietly and listened to the tale of how Adam and Keiko met and how they finally got together.

Grandmother placed her hands on both of their hands, then joined them together, then said,"You have gone through quite a lot in just a short bit of time to get together. You belong together." She closed her eyes and smiled and nodded her head. She brought their hands partially in the air and shook them in place and simply said,"Together."

Grandma just basically performed an unofficial wedding ceremony.Stating that they will be married.

She laid their hands back down and patted them and said,"There it's done."  She was in all smiles.

The only one that knew what she did was Hikuru, whom seemed a little perturbed with her mother, and in Ancient Japanese she said,"Mother you know we are not allowed to do that anymore."

The grandmother looked at her daughter and said back to her daughter in Ancient Japanese,"I am a High Priestess, I can perform Wedding Ceremonies and have perform them. These two are destined to be together. They have past lives together. And I will tell them that news. And you shant stop me!"


Grandmother looked at Adam and Keiko and said,"You two have a destiny with each other. You have past lives together." She smiled and it was as big as Adams smiled are to Keiko and she had a glow to her, an aura you might say. Grandmother has a gift of reading the past, present and future.

Keiko looked at gma and spoke quietly in English "Perhaps this ceremony could have happened with less people around, Honorable Grandmother. Thank you for the ceremony."

She looked one of her hands over..

She took Keiko by her hand and lead her to her bedroom and closed the door.

"Poor Adam is probably confused as hell about what's going on right now. I know you said that you needed to talk but I do think he will take this well. So let's get back out there before the Newman's show up."
Just then the door bell buzzed.

Caroline walked in with Selma and Quentin behind her. She said to the grandfather,"Hello it's very nice to meet you."She introduces herself and the kids and they walk over to Adam and Adam has a big smile on his face.

"Mom, I'm so glad you came and brought the brats with you." Selma wearing her usual all black glared at Adam, and Quentin, wearing a pair of tight jeans and a baby blue t-shirt  with a rainbow on it and the letters LGBTQ under the rainbow. He laughed at the joke. Adam gave Selma a big hug as she flinched then hugged him back then he hugged Quinton and he hugged him back.
Adam introduced them to Keiko's dad, half brothers and grandparents.
The door bell rang again...

Grant and Zoe were standing at the door, Zoe holding a bowl, she handed it to Keiko. "It's Ambrosia salad I didn't want to come empty handed." Zoe flashed Keiko a smile then extended her hand,"Hi I'm so sorry where are my manners? I'm Zoe Newman, Grant's wife, Adam's step-mother. It so nice to meet you."

Grant offered his hand to Adam and Adam shook his hand, then Grant brought him into a hug and whispered in his ear,"Is that your mother's Escalade out there?"
Adam whispered back,"Yes it is."
Adam pulled away and introduced Keiko to them.
Dad, Zoe I would like to introduce you to my girlfriend Keiko, Keiko this is my dad Grant and step mother Zoe."

After the pleasantries they walked in and Grant found Karl and it was like slow motion as they gave each other a hug. Grant pulled back and handed Karl,"Here ya go twelve year old Scotch from my private collection. I didn't want to come empty handed."

Keiko smiled, extended a hand, shook hands and then bowed when introed by Adam.

She kindly said in her natural voice "I am Keiko Forster as just mentioned by Adam."

Zoe walked in and saw Caroline, Quentin and Selma and marched herself over to Grant and said,"Did you know they were going to be here?"

Adam walked over to Zoe and his dad, while Keiko put the Ambrosia Salad in the fridge to stay cold, he said,he said,"No Zoe dad didn't know mom and the kids were going to be here, Mrs. Forster invited them, just like she invited you, but unlike you, mom and Mrs. Forster are friends. Anymore questions? If not why don't you make you a drink and go hide in a corner somewhere and let dad enjoy his evening with his one true friend."

Zoe looked at Grant,"Are you going to let him talk to me like that?"

Adam looked at his dad and seriously dared him to say anything about it."

Grant rolled his eyes then gave Zoe a kiss on the cheek and said,"Why don't you go make Karl and I a drink with this Kitten?"  He swatted her on the ass and she giggled and took the bottle to make drinks.

The kids walked over and hugged Grant as they whispered back and forth about a week long trip that he is taking Caroline and the two kids on. But it had to be hush hush in front of Zoe. She thinks he's going to a conference.

She brought their glasses of scotch to them and took the farthest chair and drank on her drink until it was time to eat.

Caroline smiled at Keiko and Adam as they walked up. She shook her head at Zoe's question and for some reason felt the need to apologize for her, even if it was a little sarcastically.

"I apologize for my ex husband's child bride, other than being very uncouth she doesn't think straight either. First time she met Quentin and Selma she asked if they were the other half of Adam's triplets."

Adam laughed,"Yeah I remember that. I didn't think she would ever realize that we were all different ages."

Hikuru walked out and brought the rest of the food and carried it outside to the patio.
She and Caroline exchanged hugs and laughed like they hadn't been apart.
She announced food being served on the patio outside.

Everyone walked out and made plates then staked a claim on a different part of the backyard and patio.

Zoe stood up and screeched"My Ambrosia salad!  It needs to be brought out for dessert."

Grant reached up and put his hand on her shoulder and sat her back down,"Muffin we aren't eating dessert yet, we  are still eating the main course. When it's time for dessert I'm sure someone will bring out your salad." Zoe interrupted Grant,"It's not a salad loveybear it's an Ambrosia salad there's no lettuce in it." She touched his face and laughed out,"Grant rolled his eyes then looked at Caroline and the group she was in and wished he was there instead of stuck with her.
He couldn't wait until his vacay away from Zoe and her drama and be able to be with Caroline and the kids for a week in Branson.

She was barely able to ignore Zoe jealous looks as Caroline was getting ALL the attention of ZOE'S STEPSON'S NEW GIRLFRIEND who was NOW his SOULMATE again after years apart or some malarkey like that.

Quentin said to Hikuru.
"Uhm Mrs.Forster, thank you for inviting us to your family picnic, it really is good food. I hope you like the German Chocolate Cake, I made it myself."

Selma piped up,"Yes ma'am thank you for the invite. I'm on my 3rd plate." She snickered then stopped smiling.

Zoe piped up,"Mrs... Hikuru you have a lovely home. Thank you ever so much for inviting us. Grant and I were just so happy to hear from you, but you beat us to it. You must come over for dinner next week, I'll have our maid put on a big spread."

Keiko kept a smile on her face and started to walk towards a drink tray ..

She almost sidestepped her brothers who anticipated this move and one towards a door to the house by their sister. She wanted to witness little or no reaction by their mom ....

Keiko was able to snag a glass of crap beer.

Keiko muttered real low her usual line about that beer tasting like making love in a canoe ... then smiled at one of the Forster parents.

Instead of parents saying anything grandmother did.
"Keiko! You should wash your mouth out with soap for saying things like that. Especially in front of Adam and his family and put that beer back. It isn't ladylike to drink beer. Now get over here and sit next to me until you can behave."
Then she added,"Don't make me get a Willow switch."

Keiko put her soda down in front of herself after saying in English to Siekomo "I'll be right over to you, Obaasan."

Keiko texted her parents, her bros, Adam and the chief bartender Do not give my humble self any alcohol until my gmother leaves or beds down.

Adam also got another text Suppose there's no airplane with an emergency issue that I need to look at, my newish kareshi.

She hated to do that but she didn't need Siekomo saying something about any other alcohol in her hands.

She smiled realistically then went over to talk civilly with Siekomo about the days she spent at Adam's airfield. She carried a new plain ginger ale.

Adam tired of all the family togetherness, the snips, and glares just between Selma and Zoe is enough for him for a lifetime. And the loving looks Grant keeps giving Caroline is getting the best of him. He needed to just go home, relax, order a pizza and watch some Disney+. He smiled at Keiko, he couldn't leave her to deal with this fuckery by herself.
 He pulled out his phone and sent a message to go to his pager that there was an emergency at the hub, then when his pager goes off he will inform Keiko of their departure.

So here goes nothing...

Adam's pager goes off, alerting everyone that something was going on.

Adam looked at his pager and said,"Keiko we gotta go theres an emergency at the hub."

He stood up and gave his mom and siblings hugs and kisses, shaking his dad's hand he then looked at Zoe and said,"Bye."
He looked at Hikuru,"Thank you so much for your invitation, I'm so sorry about this, we will make it up to y'all, I promise."

He walked over to Keiko's grandparents,"It was an honor meeting you both." He walked to the door as Keiko said her apologies and goodbyes.

Keiko made things look real good to everyone but her immediate family [until it was too late] .. she was probably going to catch hell for her part in this bailing from the party.

Keiko grabbed her electronics-centric tablet to make things really look real good ..

In the car, Keiko said .. "So what did you want to do at the airport to kill time? Passionately make out and talk after I put on my cover-alls and put some grease er make-up on my face and hands and then video chat with folks .. I can show off an engine I was having issues with."

Keiko thought for a moment then said "I'll finish with the plane that gave me the issue the other day while you fiddle with the paperwork. Then I can look at the parts list for one of the other jobs. Then we can get some Chinese food delivered and we can enjoy something on Netflix. We can also snuggle and talk."

Adam started the car up,"That my dear sounds like a plan."
He drove away from the house and pulled over to the side of the road and took his seat belt, leaned over, cupped Keiko's delicate face in his large hands and gave her a sensual kiss them finally broke free and sat back in his seat.
"I have been wanting to do that all freaking day." He put his seat belt back on, put it back in drive, took Keiko's hand and held it to his heart as he drove to the hub...

Hikuru drove just under the speed limit back home..

When the duo entered the house the Forsters civilly went off to think.

The Forsters major domo /maid stepped into Hikuru'S private office with a carafe of soothing Japanese tea and a medium bowl of Mochi ice cream [a confection made from Japanese mochi (pounded sticky rice) with an ice cream filling]).

[name of maid] smiled and said "Miss Keiko called and said that you had had a long day and may need a late night snack. Good night Mrs. Forster."

Karl texted "I can explain tonight about those texts between Brenda Sue and I.. and I love you so much, Hikuru."

Around an hour later, Karl nervously knocked at the door and asked if he could enter ..

Hikuru had just been staring at the security cam feeds and had noted her sons watching the door and hall on a monitor in the living room ..they looked concerned ..

The door to the office was opened, Karl was ushered in and the door was then closed.

Hikuru then noted her husband had likely use the kitchen sink's hose to give his head a good soaking as his hair was still damp.

Karl then placed his phone and a closed folder .. in front of his wife ..

Karl sat down in front of the wife's desk after Hikuru motioned for him to be seated.

He said "Those print outs in the folder are of all twenty or so texts of which you saw one ... read them and you will see that I asked her to stop with the baby shit and the rest of it. After that I hung up abruptly and noted the times when she tried calling again on the last print out."

He nervously watched the love of his life put on some faux reading glasses to help her look more stern, tapped her primary hand's manicured nails on the folder and looked at her husband's phone...

We know several folks who can scan my mind and tell if I am lying to you .. and you can call one of them right this minute on two cells or via the house phone system which are within your reach ..  Four .. Karl then stifled a yawn ... and smiled a little.

Karl smiled and gave Hikuru a series of very tender lip kisses.

He then said in Japanese "Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for loving my humble self and the kids. Thank you for showing the strength you have ... you had to face your family when you fell head over heels for this Caucasian guy with two boys and then you became pregnant and then you had to become the matriarch of our family. And, I'm sorry for the Brenda Sue mess. I forgive you for being mean."

Hikuru was then given a hug and lips were licked, locked and then was given several NSFW kisses..... or whatever Hikuru was in the mood for ...

When the duo needed to breathe Karl switched to English "Your suggestion of what to do with Brenda Sue sounds fine. Okay let's switch gears. If you will text our progeny and give them an update, I'll divvy up the food."

He does that and then handed his wife his outer shirt to wear so she doesn't stain the silk shirt she wore.

Before during and after the call, Hikuru was spoon fed some of her portion of the Mochi.

Karl smiled and then said "You have an impressive body, m'love. I have loved seeing said body since the day we met at that bar near where your squad was stationed. You'd never have known you in the military."

In comparison you were quite the fighter on the third day we encountered each other when you made like Jackie Chan. You dealt with those tough guy wannabes who were treating the other patrons like shit. You took the idiots out with my aid white wearing low heels and a skirt. The next week you agreed to meet me and talk. To this day, I'll never know how your hose never ran, your makeup and hair stayed perfect, and your heels or nails never broke."

He chuckled as he remembered the fight was reminiscent of a slapsticky one seen in an 80s/90s buddy cop flick [of which Hikuru managed to get a copy of the footage of a few days after the fight]]

Karl smiled happily "I'll finish up with .. You and Kiki are fighters and I love you both as well as our sons. Oh, by the way .. your body is a gorgeous temple that houses a wonderful mind."

Hikuru blushed as Karl went on about their first encounter and her showing off her badassery.

She pondered about telling Karl about all the home movies that she had updated to DVDs and the one she found the one marked Aaron from his birth his small life and to his funeral along with the funeral home visitation and the after funeral visitation at their home. She thought that on the anniversary of his birth that she will get the family together and that they will have a dinner in honor of Aaron and then watch the home movie.

She smiled at Karl, "Well someone had to save your cute tight ass and as for me not messing my hair up or breaking a nail... Well honey that would have been complete dishonor had I done that." She laughed.

"I have to thank you for giving me those two little boys that were in need of a mama and the man in need of a wife. And then giving me 2 more children to love. For giving me the life I never thought I deserved. I love you so much."

My mother just texted that many of our relations will be descending on Houston during the day ... and we can text and facetime whenever for the moment. I have been assured that my grandparents are okay."

To stay in the theme of the Hub Kev walked over and handed Mama H a box,"I made this for you, I hope you like it."
She opened it up and it is a picture of them after Keiko was born, when they had their first plane ride to Japan as a family. Kev designed the frame and are it himself and put the picture in it. "You can put it on your desk."

Hikuru tried fanning her face but it didn't work." She took a tissue from her purse and dabbed at her eyes then got her compact out to make sure her mascara didn't run.
"Boys this means so much to me, thank you both so much. Yes this will be the first thing that I will put on my desk. I love you two boys like you are my own, and I always will."

The two boys hugged Mama H. She then raised her arms in the air to get them off of her like she did when they were little and laughed, "Ok I gotta go. I will see you two Tonight for my celebratory dinner. Right Ted?"
Ted laughed, "Right Mama H. All your favorites."

And just so happens I went shopping yesterday and bought skirt steak, it will be perfect for this meal. Ted pushed his chair back and ran to the wear they keep the back fridge and freezer, this is where Ted usually keeps his food that he cooks with.
He comes back with a basket sitting on top of a cart that is full of things." I'm also going to cut up a pineapple and put in it. It will work well with the soy and teriyaki. "
He hands scissors to Akari and 6 packs of steaks," Ok get started on the steaks while I break down the pineapple and make up the sauce then I'll finish the rest. Cut in strips then in squares."
He gave her a kiss then started breaking down a pineapple and making a sauce.

Akari smiled at Ted.

She washed her hands then started to make some more snacks since it was too early to make dinner

Akari soon gave her boyfriend a light kiss on his lips and then a hug.

She then said "Ted Forster .. I feel so comfortable with you and your family. I am so amazed that they have been so accepting of me and our relationship."

I gave you a drawer and part of my closet" he smiled sweetly and shrugged a little then said," I don't know just so you will have some clothes over here, you know if they get dirty doing something like cooking or eating or we went swimming and you decided you wanted something else to put on, so you have it here and I made save in my bathroom for your bathroom stuff too." He grinned , pulled up his boxers and pulled out a pair of fresh boxers and to his closet for a pair of Carhartt sweatpants and T-shirt he grabbed a towel and a shower caddy and walked over to Kevin's shower after cleaning it first. He would have to talk to Mama H about the maid not cleaning worth a damn in their bathroom's and bedroom's. He then begins his shower.

Akari kissed her boyfriend tenderly and hugged him.

Ted shook his head, "No hon you can't do that for your final exam. It has to be over the top, something that leaves the judges and our instructor wanting more. You can't go simple. Especially after all these months of classes."

In reply to Theodore 'Ted' Forster (msg # 148):

Akari nods at Ted and soon settles down on a couch in the living room. She put on some slippers instead of the crocs she was wearing.

She had grabbed a backpack filled mainly with recipes and related notes.

When 'everyone' returned, Akari was asleep on the couch. She had not picked anything to make .. she had made a few recipes and loaded her dishes in the dishwasher.

Hireto smiled at Akari and held out a light blanket for Ted to take ..

Ted took the blanket and smiled, "Thanks
He bowed at his grandpa "You're the best." Then kissed his cheek then covered Akari and sat on the floor in front of the couch and went through recipes.

Akari looked through a fourth of the recipes and frowned a little. She said in Korean "Nothing is jumping out at me."

She tenderly held one of Ted's hands, smiled and looked up into her beau's eyes.

She then continued in Korean "I can choose something I don't make often but I'm used to making. I can make some Germanic food."

She hugged Ted and then tenderly kissed him.
