After the party the Edward / Kathy duo went to their home ...

Kathy set the alarm on her phone and told Edward she would wake him up for a dinner in a little over an hour.

She ordered Chinese and dressed as Black Widow ... this was an obvious hit with the delivery guy.

Edward was not woken up by an alarm but by a passionate kiss from his sig other

Said sig other was wearing a short red wig and a semi-tight professionally made Black Widow outfit.

Edward liked what he saw and wrapped his arms around his significant other and rolled her I the bed and said,"Well hell there. That is the best way to be woken up. I think by far my favorite way."

Kathy kissed Edward for a few moments then took off the outfit.

She then put on a pajama top so as not to get any sauces on her skin.

The duo ate and then dealt with any leftovers and trash.

Kathy then asked Edward "What did you want to do now besides the obvious?"

Edward looked at his watch,"Hold that thought. I need to call Lil J before he goes to sleep and the girls before they go to sleep and the boss man to confirm that I will be coming back next week instead of this week. I need to work on my house and help with J's big birthday bash. And you and me need to discuss our wedding plans too. Sooo hold on."

He called Jeremy and explained why he wasn't there tonight that it was Kathy's first night at his place and that he is helping her get settled in but would be there tomorrow to work on the house and to work on the car. He called Janet to let them know he was with Kathy but would be back tomorrow then called the boss man and then everything was squared away. He turned towards his beautiful fiancee and said,"Ok beautiful let's discuss our wedding. First of all where do you want it? Personally myself...I kind like to have it here at the gazebo. It is the perfect wedding spot. But if you don't want it there I will go wherever you want to go. Just as long as we can get married."

Kathy smiled a little and said gave Ed a long, passionate kiss then said "We can have the event here."

She gave Ed an acoustic thrill on his chest and then said "Been wanting to do that all day."

Edward looked around,"Here? At the cottage? There isn't enough room? Is there? I mean if that is what you want then that is fine by me. We can have it here at the cottage. It will be beautiful. Just like you." He gave Kathy a long passionate kiss then pulled her closer and kissed her deeper until Kathy had to come up for air."After I lost my wife and child I swore I would never  get married again and would never have kids again and look at me I've got one adopted son, one biological son and I'm getting remarried to a woman that has found my heart that buried deep away, but you unburied out of the rubble and cleaned it off and polished it off and now it's like it is brand spanking new and it has found its way to you. And for that I am so very thankful for. I love you more than words can say. I'm so happy you agreed to be my forever lasting wife."

Kathy looked at Ed "My brain wandered .. I'm fine with the gazebo .. might be more room for parking and people there. Nothing against the cottage."

Ed was kissed and hugged ..

Kathy smiled then said "I am so happy I was able to help drag you away from your pit of despair."

Edward nodded his head,"Yeah well we can still have it herr if you want. I mean I have acreage to park on and we can build a gazebo and paint it the color you want for our wedding. And when my house...our house is through over at the ranch then we can keep this place as sort of I don't know a retreat place or something. How does that sound?"

He kissed her then said,"It isn't a pit of despair...I love it over there...if I didn't I wouldn't be building my home next door to them on their property. It's just right across the field he can run or ride his bike or 3 wheeler over to the house to see me. I'm sorry you feel this way." Edward raised up from his position and turned to sit up.

Kathy kissed Ed and then firmly said "I meant your mental pit of dispair .. I'm not calling any place a pit. And I am fine with the wedding happening at the ranch's gazebo."

Edward grabbed a bottle of water and drank it down,"It's ok I'm just very protective of them that's all. They are the only ones that made me feel like family since I lost mine."

He turned around and covered back up and took Kathy back in his arms. This was the first night they stayed together here in his old marital home hence why he is building a new one.

this is why I have more than once posted about still working on his home. and that she was staying in his cottage.

When Kathy arrived home she dressed in a slightly loose tshirt and shorts, changed her make-up  a little and took meds for cramps ... she didn't care if it was probably too early to hop in bed ..

She sat in bed and watched a true crime doc on Netflix for a few moments and smiled when Edward arrived.. she struck a pose and blew Edward a kiss.

Edward sat on the bed and handed Kathy a bag,"I got home and found out you weren't feeling good so on my way over stopped off by the gas station and bought you some stuff.
When she opened the bag she sees a pint of chocolate swirl ice cream, a Snickers bar and a Coca Cola." He smiled,"Hope this is ok? This is what you usually ask me to pick you up so I figured I would go ahead and do it for you without you having to ask."

Kathy got up, got some extra pillows [for the duo] and then laid back down.

She smiled at Edwards back and asked him to lay down .. when he was settled she said "Thank you for the snack. So what was your day like?"

She pressed a button and his side of their craftmatic bed began to move and Kathy started to eat her ice cream...

Edward kicked off his shoes, took off his coat and tie and laid down beside Kathy,"Well I had to get up at the butt crack of dawn, drive all the way to Dallas just to sit in the car for 4 hrs. Drive the boss man and his business associates to lunch for an hour and a half while I ate my ham and cheese sandwich and chips and a Twinkie. Drive them back for another 3hrs then drive all the way to his house, then here. I am beat and my ass is killing me. I'm bringing a pillow to sit on tomorrow. I'm staying here tonight, there is no way I can drive all the way back to the ranch and make it there safely."

Kathy carefully moved and gave Ed a tender kiss and softly said "My poor, poor darling."

She then sat back up started to eat her ice cream again ...

Kathy then said "Guessing its cheaper to drive back and forth than fly."

She smirked and then said "Love you."

The Burkett's were planning to go to dinner at a place of Edward's choosing the Sunday the Keiko and Adam had their big party ..

Katherine / Kathy lost herself in retouching her make-up, form fitting dress and then checking her hoisery in full length mirror ...

She touched her hair and then looked again at the positive pregnancy test in her hand  ...

Her tears started again and she collapsed on the bed ...

Edward stood quietly in the shadow in the hallway just outside the door, he smiled as he watched his fiance' fix herself all prim and proper but it was as though the world stopped turning as she looked at something then threw herself on the bed. He couldn't resist himself, he reached and sat on the edge of the bed and picked her into his very muscular arms and asked, "Baby what's wrong? What can I do for you?"
He asked with all the love in his heart.

In reply to Edward James Burkett (msg # 17):

Kathy dabbed her cheeks and then around her eyes with a soft linen cloth and showed Edward the test.

The test fell out of her hand and onto a pillow that was on the floor and near the bed.

With both hands Kathy pulled Edward's head towards hers.

Edward was then kissed several times in a row ... each time was longer than the last ...

Kathy pulled her head back and sniffled "Been cranky all day and then .."

She pointed down at the test.

She then said in a gruff and low voice "I love you, Edward."

She dabbed around her eyes and sighed "As for what you can do for me .. do just what you are doing."

She smiled a little and her free hand gave Edward a Superman hair curl.

Edward looked down at the test then back at Kathy with tears in his eyes, "Does this mean what I think it means? Does this mean that you.... that we... That there's a baby inside... And I don't have to share with two other women? Just with the woman that I love? We're going to have a baby?"
He gave Kathy a kiss then kissed her stomach after confirmation from her.
" Thank you. Oh my God thank you. You have made me the happiest man in the world. If I could sing it on the rooftops I would. We need to get you into the doctor right? And to think I came here to give you the news that the ranch house is finished and I wanted to take you there to see it. I even put in a surprise just for you. I had them put in an elevator so when you were tired from work you didn't have to climb the stairs and you didn't have to climb the stairs when you were pregnant and I had a large dumbwaiter built from the laundry room to the second and third floor so we don't have to carry laundry baskets. And I bought a cart to sit outside the dumbwaiter to put the basket of clothes on to push to the rooms to put the clothes up."
He looked serious at Kathy and said,"I love you. "

Kathy smiled and said "One: We should dry our tears and head out to dinner, Edward. Two: This child is ours .. our genetics have made this baby. Three: Thank you for thinking of modifying our house for my comfort."

Kathy then slipped on some more comfy shoes ....

Edward changed out of his work clothes and into a polo and khakis and slipped on a pair of loafers.
He waited by the door with the keys to his Rolls in one hand and cell in the other while Kathy made a pee pit stop.

Kathy was ever so carefully led into the foyer by Ed ...

Kathy gave her future husband a hug and kiss and soon pulled her head back a little "Should I close my eyes in case you have set up a surprise, darling?"

She smiled a little more and closed her eyes anyway and had a dreamy look on her face "I wonder if we'll have a child with kewl powerz." 

Edward chuckled at Kathy when she closed her eyes, Edward opened the doors.
"I surely hope little he/she has powers, just as long as it isn't invisibility. Now open your eyes darling."
Once Kathy opens her eyes she sees 100 red and white heart shaped balloons, rose petals on the floor leading to the bedroom.
Once she opened the double doors she sees the swan figure made out of a king size towels and a heart of roses on the bed.

Kathy started to tear up as she heard Edward's words and smelled the roses ...

She then opened her eyes ànd kissed E. with increased intensity .

Kathy looked over the at the decor, smiled evilly then indicated she wanted E to lay down after removing his shirt only.

She then tossed off her shirt and she laid down next to E.

Both of E's hands were placed on her stomach and she smiled a lot more.

She then said "I love you, Edward. You are so gorgeous."
