Have you been watching The Bad Batch on Disney+?  There was an episode qhere they were hired by a young Hera Syndulla to rescue her father, General Cham Syndulla, and her mother.  Devlu Jumper (Jumper being his nickname from the war) would be one of the six clones who laid down his weapon when Howzer said he refused to treat  people he had sworn to protect the way the Empire was treating them.  So, I would say within a few weeks to a few months after Order 66.  I figure they made their escape at a time when many of the guards were conscripted replacement for clones.  In fact, from what I have read, by the time of A New Hope, the only wholly clone force was Vader's Fist (The 501st Legion).  Pretty much all troops had been replaced by "breeders".
