It still unclear what Elern doing but he make an illusion in GM mind that the Sinus headache/pressure has gone away.  Using his watch to study what humans are like.

He is for once unable to use his motivation. Sorry about that.

Did those two middle managers accompany us all the way down in the elevator? I was thinking they probably just sent us down in hope we solve their problem.

It was never stated clearly, one way or the other. I assumed they were there, obviously.

Is that not the role of middle managers.  To be in the way and make life worse for workers but when you really need them they no where to be found.

I'll be MIA for about a week, extended trip for a friend's wedding. Not sure how often I'll be able to check in. Wouldn't hurt my feelings in the least if you had to take actions on my behalf.

The part of tunnel you're in right now still looks man-hewed-- it's not a natural tunnel-- but other than that it seems totally unmodified.

And speaking of things going slowly: So yeah, BEFORE now, I've just been tired from (gestures at all of 2021). But in the next few weeks I'm gonna be doing family stuff which will mess with my time even more, because Christmas. So... keep that in mind. I won't be gone, but I will very likely be absent//in-and-out.
