Locations and People

Clayshire

Population:
Approximately 110; primarily human, some halfling.

Government:
Clayshire is governed by a sage, a female halfling named Brima.

Notable Places:
The Pavilion of Revelry: A grand half-timbered theatre, known for its dark dwarven tragedies.
The Hero and Spear: A large elven inn, built atop an outcrop of hewn and rune-carved stone.
Aldred's Pit: A large site of clay pits, after which the town is named.  The pits are owned and maintained by the Clayfoot family, though Aldred himself is long dead.  Much of the town works in the Pit.

A few NPCs:
Cilia Faney: Female Halfling Warrior. Cilia is common in appearance, with golden hair and hazel eyes. She wears banded mail and wields a bardiche. Cilia is searching for a legendary blade named Hellish Nemesis.
Dralda: Female Dwarf Rogue. Dralda is short and overweight, with uneven golden hair and amber eyes. She wears modest garments and several pouches hang from her belt. Dralda is paranoid and aggressive.
Freda: Male Firbolg Warrior. Freda is noble in bearing, with copper hair and blue eyes, and damaged ram horns. He wears chain mail and wields a military pick. Freda seeks to make amends for a life accidentally taken.
Witmund: Male High Human Dabbler. Witmund has white hair and sharp green eyes, and a flat nose. He wears modest garments and a leopard fur cape. Witmund is a skilled actor.

Directions:
North: Steamwind, a village along a river in hills.
West: Thick mountain range, Defne Bay just beyond.
East: Leere Ebene flats, full of horsemen.
South: Kale Kapisi, gateway to the Sonsuz Desert.

Locations and People

Old Road

Length:
Approximately 300 kilometers

Notable Settlements:
The Old Road is a path that travels between Clayshire and Steamwind.

Notable Sites:
Stones of the High Men: A semi-circle of crumbling stones with weather-worn runes.  It is considered bad luck to camp within these stones, reserved only for the truly desperate.
Black Tree: Located in a clearing by the side of the road, a solitary tree stands vigil over the landscape.  It appears to have been burnt years ago, but still grows leaves with the seasons.  Those that camp beneath the Black Tree report the tree being in their dreams.

Directions:
North: Steamwind, a village along a river in hills.
South: Clayshire, a village known for plentiful clay pits.
